Never one to be lost for words or triggering strong opinions with said words, Dancehall superstar, Beenie Man is at the epicenter of controversy following an interview in which he called out many of his contemporaries, including Elephant Man, who is none too pleased with his commentary.
In a recent interview with Cipha Sounds and Peter Rosenberg on HOT 97, Beenie Man was asked about the state of Dancehall music and speaking on some of its marquee acts, including Cham and Mr. Vegas, stating that they were both inconsistent while stating Sean Paul needs to 'come back to the roots' and that he is 'not coming home enough.' He also called himself 'the balance of Dancehall music,' saying the genre needs him to continue making hits to help sustain it.
When further pressed about Dancehall's state, Beenie told the American radio station, "I haven't seen Elephant Man for like two years now, like seriously….Dancehall is not broken, some of the artistes are broken. The followers are here, I am still here, and I am still putting out hit songs."
In an interview published in the Jamaica STAR on Tuesday, Elephant Man shot back at Beenie, who he performed alongside at the BET Awards last year, intimating that he damaging the genre with such comments.

Despite being nominated for two BET Awards, Rihanna did not make an appearance to the ceremony on Sunday, and neither did her reported ex-boyfriend Drake. And rumor has it that another one of Rihanna's ex-boyfriends is glad that those two didn't show up.
On Tuesday, Hollywood Life reported that the Diamonds singer's former flame Chris Brown was relieved that his ex nor Drake didn't attend the same award ceremony that he did.
"He didn't want to be bothered with either of them or have any kind of negative energy from them or anyone else for that matter," a source told the site.
When Brown attended the event, the only thing that was allegedly on his mind was to show the audience that he's an artist.

Popular Dancehall/Reggae singjays, I-Octane and Mr. Vegas just cannot seem to agree on anything relating Reggae Sumfest these days.
First, the two exchanged pleasantries regarding who should close Dancehall Night at the July show, a dispute put to rest after Summerfest Productions CEO, Johnny Gourzong confirmed that Octane would close the show for the second consecutive year. This time, the duo are at odds following accusations by Vegas that I-Octane tried to sabotage his upcoming performance at the show after allegedly telling a background vocalist who works with both to stop working for the Selfie singer.
Vegas told the Jamaica STAR in an interview published Friday that since the dispute over who should close Sumfest, he believes Octane and his camp have deliberately tried to ruin his set at the show.
"It's unfortunate that, two weeks leading up to the show, I have to be searching for a back-up singer, and me and this person have been working together for over three years, without problems," he said. "She was forced to stop working with me because she was asked to choose between me and I-Octane, and she decided that she will not take any side."
On June 8th MJMagazine did an article about Lady Saw's recent release on the John John label for the track entitled "Ask Dem Artist". In the article MJMagazine asked if Lady Saw had gone too far as the record is loaded with explicits and heavy sexual content.
After seeing the story, Lady Saw responded to MJMagazine on twitter saying "I allowed others to drag me down that path with them N don't want to see a replay of it with the males the business is global." She also addressed a section of the article which asked about her returning to Christianity. To that she said this, "I can answer that I almost gave my life to Christ n will still do so when the time is right secondly sting had was to be done."
Persons are encouraged to read the article and listen to the controversial song here: http://mjmagazine.wordpress.com/2014/06/08/has-lady-saw-gone-too-far/
"If a war dem want mi ready long time… dem a dready long time, dem nuh steady long time…"
Ace dancehall DJ Mr. Vegas is in no talking mood as he answers in song to any DJ that wants to prove his worth.
In a new track, just hot off the press, Mr. Vegas stands tall on a reworked Answer Riddim with a boomshot labeled Ready Long Time. This is vintage Mr. Vegas, intertwining hard hitting lyrics with a seriousness that could intimidate any competitor. Mr. Vegas' dark side is now revealed.
With lyrics like: If a war dem want mi ready long time… dem a dready long time dem nuh steady long time and Mi coulda be yuh daddy suh gwaan guh sidung… man a gorilla weh run country and town.. u diss the elders in yuh own milk yuh drown, Mr. Vegas hits the target and pledges a barrage of other hard hitting tracks for the masses.
In commenting on recent events, Mr. Vegas says he is ready for anything and the song is his sounding of that fact: "Lately some people have been making statements in the media and we want dem to know we are no punks around here. We are ready and waiting for any challenge even if it’s at Sumfest. So those who talking must either put up or shut up".
Mr. Vegas added that while throughout his 17 year career he has been labeled a girls artiste, he has over that time released some hardcore tunes such as Stop Mi Food, Gangsta Law, We Nuh Want Nuh Fren From Dem and his recently release Real Don on Jah Snow Cone's Nuh Fraid Riddim which is getting massive forwards in the dancehall right now.

Dancehall star, Mavado has opened up about his ongoing feud with former mentor and Alliance leader, Bounty Killer, claiming a lack of respect, among other things have cause the falling out between the two deejays.
Mavado appeared on CVM's OnStage talk show, aired Saturday night, speaking from the We The Best Music Group headquarters about the issues between himself and Bounty. In the interview, Mavado held nothing back, joking that Bounty must be 'mixing Hennessey with crack,' after questioning his loyalty to the Alliance and calling him a 'sellout,' saying he's always shown his ex-mentor respect.
"Mi stand up beside yuh straight and mi show yuh loyalty and respect straight, everywhere inna di world mi go, mi she big up Killa when yuh nah dweet," he said. "How Killa fi get up and she mi nuh show loyalty and who sellout. Weh u mean by dat Killa? A your actions mek we inna da spot hah today."
Mavado then brought up the fatal shooting outside the QUAD nightclub in Kingston in 2011, outside Bounty Killer's birthday party, which claimed the life of his best friend, Conroy 'Connie' Edwards. He says Bounty acted disloyal in the first place by having the party at a club which was partially owned by then rival deejay, Vybz Kartel. However, his biggest gripe remains that Bounty never sent condolences to him about his loss, instead blaming him for ruining his party.
"After what happen at the club, Killa still couldn't tell mi condolences fi mi friend," he said. "Him couldn't look pon mi fren mother, daughter, family and seh simple condolences, and remember she is a ute weh u know too," saying Bounty used to have Edwards run errands for him and even hung out with him and Mavado the week before the shooting.
Last week dancehall artist Mr Vegas stopped by Hot 20 to chat it up with host 'Diva Nikki Z.'
It was there he stated that if there was anyone he would challenge, he picks the 'cross-angry' one Bounty Killer. Vegas returned last night to up the ante.

Hapilos Entertainment Group has taken the rare step to address its critics and respond to a release posted on the internet attacking its Executive Vice President Johnny Wonder.
First, let's call the article for what it is. The article is a poorly written, hateful, calculating, malicious press release written with only one purpose in mind and that is character assassination. Based on the overwhelming responses we have received from the hundreds of producers and artistes across the globe that currently have active distribution deals with us and the general public on a whole, it is clear that this release is being taken for what it is which is a hateful attempt at destroying the reputation of Johnny Wonder. An individual which even the attacker conceded has done so much for reggae music. The writer who proclaims herself to be an "artist" who was handed down bad "customer service" is a coward who did not reveal herself and shouldn't strive to be anything but anonymous. We Stand 100 percent behind our Executive VP Johnny Wonder and we have every confidence in him.
The hate article began with the writer lamenting about the "excess of music that lacks creativity and quality" being put out into the market. These so called "lack of creativity" tracks come from young producers and upcoming artistes which 21st Hapilos Digital Distribution have chosen, as a business, not to ignore and to give a platform for their music. Seanizzle, Markus Myrie and Rvssian are just some of our clients who were once young producers that came to us to distribute their music. We gave them the platform to showcase their music and today they are some of our most successful producers. Popcaan, Tommy Lee and Ricky Blaze were once young artistes who came to us for distribution. These artistes are now successful musicians in their own right. The release further laments on the way we "prioritize the welfare of the superstar artists while treating the younger upcoming artists like they don't exist" Well which is it? It can't be both. Are we helping young artists and producers by promoting and distributing their work or are we just looking out for the welfare of superstar artistes?

So y'all remember last time Mr. Fabulous FrassMan got kicked out of the main house.... Landed in the dog house.... Clothes got dashed out into the snow? His team NS Music Enterprise was not too happy with the raw publicity and Daddy Bigg$, Platinum Camp's C.E.O tweeted that it was not a good look for them to be fighting in public. Well, 'word' has it that Mr. Wandering Eyes have been making a grand effort to get back in the good graces of his wife.
Frassman has recently uploaded a YouTube video of his new song 'U R Beautiful' that he has dedicated to her. (good move) He tweeted the song and copied her on the link for Valentines Day! Later that night he presented her with a 7 carat diamond ring (Now that's the way to get back into the main house!) BLING BLING!!!
Last night, Chinygurl (wifey) tweeted "Frassman is the love of my life, I could never stay mad at him. We are back together under the same roof, living and loving life and looking forward to the future."
The General Daddy Biggz, alongside NS Music Enterprise wants to assure Frassman's fans that the video that started all this conflict 'Go Down and Wine' is soon to be released on MTV.

On a day when couples across the world celebrate love and togetherness, reports Friday have claimed that one of Jamaica's most talked relationships has come to an end as Dancehall/Reggae singer, Daniel 'Chino' McGregor and former Miss Universe runner-up, Yendi Phillipps are broken up.
A report in the Jamaica STAR cites sources close to the pair as confirming that McGregor and Phillipps are no longer together. The pair, who have been together since 2011, did not confirm or deny the report when contacted by the newspaper.
"Where did you get that information from? I am in the middle of something right now and I cannot comment on that," McGregor told the STAR while Phillipps refused to discuss her personal life with the press, claiming they should stop calling her to ask 'stupid things.'
Additionally, the report says the two are no longer following each other on Instagram and no longer show pictures of each other.
No reason for the break-up has been offered, though subsequent, unsubstantiated reports on gossip websites claim Phillipps kicked McGregor out of their home after McGregor suspected her of cheating.
The relationship between McGregor and Phillipps became widespread news in the spring of 2012 after the latter posted a picture of her pregnant belly, with McGregor's hand on it. The pair later confirmed their relationship and announced they were having their first child. They welcomed their new-born, a daughter, in September of that year.
Phillipps also was seen on her co-hosting gig on TVJ's Smile Jamaica earlier that month sporting a ring, with speculation rife that she and the musician were engaged, speculation both personalities refused to confirm.
Nicoy Salmon better known as Frassman, began his career releasing his first single "Dat nuh Hard Fi Do" from his label NS Music Enterprise in association with Platinum Camp Records. Climbing the charts quickly, Frassman (who now lives bi-coastal) flew from Connecticut to Jamaica to shoot the video of his follow up single "Go Down and Wine".
While filming on the set of the new single, one of the video chicks and Frassman was seen fraternizing between takes. Allegedly, the dame was also spotted off site with the "married" Frassman at a restaurant in Kingston. Apparently "word" traveled faster than Frassman was able to reach back home in the USA. After wrapping up his 'so called' work trip aka Jamaican rendezvous, and while on his way back, unnamed sources claims @ChinyGurl (the wifey) exploded on twitter "Come get your sh*t" and to prove the point, she post a photo of Frassman's finest all strewn out in the snow. Hmmm, @Frassmanbrilli
And so the saga begins!! Mek wi si how him get himself outa dis one....

Mariah Carey's year on the "American Idol" judge's panel made headlines for her feud with fellow judge Nicki Minaj, and now Carey's making her feelings on the subject clear.
"Honestly, I hated it," the superstar singer said Tuesday in an interview with deejay Angie Martinez on New York radio station Hot 97.
Carey, 43, explained that she believed she was going to be part of a three-judge panel. Instead, she appeared during the FOX reality TV singing competition's season 12 alongside rapper Nicki Minaj, country singer Keith Urban, and longtime "Idol" judge Randy Jackson.
It was no secret Carey and Minaj were feuding since the start of the season. The friction between them was sometimes apparent during the broadcasts.
"It was like hell -- going to work every day in hell with Satan," Carey said in a video of the interview that was posted to YouTube.
"Really?" Martinez replied, and Carey quickly added: "Nah, just playing. It didn't affect me that much ... I was disappointed."
Ooh la la! Did Drake, 26, just confess his love for Nicki Minaj in a song off his new album? What will Rihanna think? Read on for all the juicy details!
Leave it to Drake to hold nothing back when it comes to the world of women and love. The rapper appears to have revealed a secret conflict in his love life involving Nicki Minaj, 30, in his new song "Tuscan Leather" on his new album, Nothing was the Same.
Even though he's been making headlines for his rumored on-and-off romance with Rihanna, 25, it looks like there's a third player in their love triangle - and it's not Chris Brown, 24.
In Drake's latest song, "Tuscan Leather," he actually confesses he had a thing for Nicki and that he regrets losing touch with her. He raps:
Not even talkin' to Nicki, communication is breakin'
I dropped the ball on some personal sh**, I need to embrace it
It sounds like he's owning up to their lost love. And according to the lyric analysis on the website Rap Genius, Drake once rapped about marrying Nicki, too.
I love Nicki Minaj
I told her I'd admit it
I hope one day we get married just to say we f****n did it

Rapper Gucci Mane took to Twitter to claim he slept with Nicki Minaj when she lived in Atlanta in the early stages of her career.
Gucci Mane has never really been known for being tight-lipped. So it's no surprise that the rapper took to Twitter to air out his dirty laundry.
What is shocking is the list of celebrities he threw into the fire. The most outrageous claim being that he slept with Nicki Minaj, and not just on one occasion and not alone.
"Me and waka f--k nikki minaj dats nothing," he tweeted Monday, stating that rapper Waka Flocka Flame got in on the action with the "Starships" rapper. "Nikki minaj can do a trick with her mouth ask waka?"
"May God strike me dead if I ever had sex wit that man #ugliness," Minaj replied in a tweet she later deleted. "He's sick and in dire need of rehab. #Love"
Gucci Mane also included Monica and Keyshia Cole as ladies he's bedded.
Flocka's humorous reply was: 'Kids please don't do drugs @gucci1017 is the perfect outcome lol #IceCreamCone."
The 33-year-old Alabama rapper went on to detail his relationship with Minaj, rehashing how he helped her when she was just starting to make a name for herself in the industry.
"Did I put nikki n 50 dollar room then let her move in," Mane tweeted. "Then help her get an apartment im a fool 4 a bubble butt but I hate a--shots fake ho."

Veteran Dancehall female artistes Lady Saw and Macka Diamond are at it again. The feud started a few months back when Lady Saw decided to not share the same flight with Macka Diamond. According to Macka Diamond, Lady Saw requested for the promoter to change the flight as she's not comfortable flying on the same plane with Macka Diamond.
Source close to Lady Saw told OutAroad.com that Lady Saw is upset that Macka Diamond went to the same producers who produced her recent mega hit single Heels On and asked of them to also produced a sexy cross over song which resulted into Macka Diamond scoring a huge hit with Dye Dye.
However the latest feud happens in Guyana when Lady Saw stated that due to continuous "diss" from Macka Diamond over the years, she will not share stage with the Dye Dye hitmaker.
Macka Diamond also mentioned that Lady Saw is jealous over her recent success and strongly believe that Lady Saw should follow her belief of becoming a christian and leave her alone.
"Even when saw tun 65 shi still nah guh want see nobody else get dem shine"
Meanwhile Lady Saw went on a twitter rant with tweets like: "Picking on me won't help distract people fr u nasty kitchen porn"
"To all fans and promoters as of the end of august I won't be taking any shows leaving the Dance Hall business to the desperate ones"

Chris Brown has been accused of assaulting a 24-year-old woman in an Orange County nightclub on the same night that another woman tossed her thong-turned-business card on stage.
When Brown's fans began using the term "Team Breezy," we knew the entertainment world would be in for a treat.
One member of "Team Breezy" was partying in the same nightclub where Brown was performing, and ended her night with a knee injury after she claimed the "Fine China" crooner violently shoved her to the ground - allegedly with no provocation at all.
According to the owner of the club, however, the allegations are completely false.
"Based on the information which we have gathered from our security company, mall security, and other partygoers which were at HEAT on Saturday night; it is apparent that the alleged incident regarding Chris Brown is false," Heat Ultra Lounge Owner Mike Joher told TMZ.
In fact, if anyone shoved the woman to the ground it seems that it was likely to have been security, not the tattooed R&B star.
According to the club owner, statements from other people at the club that night indicated that the young woman's behavior was out of control, and she tried to push her way into Brown's VIP section.
Even more diva wars behind the scenes of American Idol. A new report claims that the Fox reality competition's producers recently mulled a drastic attempt to boost its flagging ratings: Bring back departed judge Jennifer Lopez mid-season to replace none other than Mariah Carey.
Citing sources, The Hollywood Reporter says that Idol producers, along with Fox executives, began negotiations with Lopez, a fan-favorite judge during seasons 10 and 11, to join the show asap. But Carey soon got wind of the plot and allegedly threatened to sue, THR reports. The site goes on to say that producers still hope to bring Lopez on for the season finale and May - and that Carey, fellow newbie Nicki Minaj and possibly the entire panel (also including newcomer Keith Urban and veteran Randy Jackson) could be axed before the thirteenth season.
Reps for Fox and Carey both denied THR's report. Show producer Nigel Lythgoe told THR: "I have not been included in any conversation regarding replacing Mariah with Jen this season."
Although much was made of superstar additions Carey and Minaj - and their intense, catty bickering on the panel -- the show's ratings continue to plummet, with its Wednesday performance show suffering its worst numbers since the series began in 2001.
A show source also tells THR that possible replacements include a music professional, "not necessarily a star" to join the panel next year.

Rihanna has made a speedy recovery from her two day stint in hospital, just in time for an all-night partying session at a South Beach night club last night.
The star, who had cancelled two concerts due to exhaustion, wore a skimpy black crop top and a pair of micro shorts as she bared her fit body for a night out on the town in Miami, Florida.
Rihanna's night was not short of debauchery as she headed over to a strip club to celebrate after returning to the stage earlier that evening.
It's reported she showed up with her entourage complete with 2 tour buses that blocked the streets until police had to make them move.
The star who left little to the imagination in her outfit had tweeted that her 'Fantasies came to life' after watching a number of strippers at the Miami club.
Her wild night comes after reports she was warned by doctors to change her partying lifestyle or risk serious damage to her health.
Rihanna, whose current track 'Pour It Up' was inspired by the strip clubs, wrote: "Last night one of my fantasies came to life! I got to see K.O.D strippers dance for me to the stripper song I made!"
We were shocked when we saw Justin Bieber's new shaved haircut on April 6 - but then we thought, we've seen this before! Rihanna made the 'do popular back in 2009! So who is sexier with a shaved head?
Did Justin Bieber take a page from Rihanna's style book? Although she currently has long, lush locks, she's been rocking a shaved side head on and off since 2009. RiRi made it trendy years ago and Bieber debuted the similar style on his Believe tour on April 6.

Rihanna's Skrillex-inspired shaved head was actually voted the worst trend of the century, according to a poll by British hair care retailer Fabriah.com in March. But in our HL poll, 62 percent of you love Rihanna's rockstar hair.
Fabriah.com spokesperson Francesca Davies said: "I am not at all surprised the 'Skrillex' look claimed the prize as the worst hair trend of the 21st Century. What is surprising, however, is the number of people still copying the style. I would never have imagined the haircut becoming so popular."
Controversial reggae-dancehall artiste Khago is incensed that producer Cordel 'Skatta' Burrell has been using the platform of the Magnum Dancehall Kings and Queens show as a platform to hurl personal insults at the artiste and to disrespect his brand and his music.
"How can Skatta who mi have so much respect for as a producer go on national TV and bruk mi CD on a dancehall competition that is supposed to be building up artistes, and teaching them respect and integrity for the music? How him even think about doing that? And how the sponsors and TVJ fi even condone him doing that? Him should apologise to the fans, him not even have to apologise to me, for dragging himself and the industry down like that? Him nuffi do dem tings de, the whole ah Jamaica lose offa him, him coulda choose another forum or platform to work out his issues with me," Khago said in a statement.
Skatta is a judge on the popular Magnum Dancehall Kings and Queens show.
"Mi a demand say him apologise to the fans, him go loo," Khago said.
Khago believes that he is on a positive path, even though he is walking away from the deep pockets and vast resources of Josef Bogdanovich, CEO of Down Sound Records.
"The way dem deal wid it, anno so poor people buss, with management ah show off pon people. With them, it's all about money, mi caan get fi perform fi poor people again if dem no have all the money, and that is not how my career build. Right now, mi ah walk away from them and all them money and reclaim my soul and love for music," Khago said.

The buzz surrounding emerging Reggae sensation, Chronixx has been overwhelmingly positive since he burst onto the music scene in 2012. However, a new single by popular deejay, Popcaan has brought forth a hint of controversy involving the young singer.
Popcaan recently released the preview for his new single, Killa From Mi Bawn, which is allegedly diss song aimed at former Portmore Empire colleague, Black Ryno following their much talked about confrontation at STING last December. However, a line in the Milla 9 produced song raised some eyebrows over the weekend as the Gaza deejay says, "Chu some pu$$y hear man seh di party buck dem tink seh we party nuff, Not even Selassie or Jesus cyah save dem when di bloodcl#@t 40 buss"
The line appeared to be a counteraction to Chronixx's hit single, Odd Ras in which he sings, "Say mi nah sing no song bout di party buck, Worst mi nah show mi under pants fi buss."
The preview has garnered over 5,000 views on YouTube, with some of the comments supporting Popcaan while some criticized it. One viewer asked, "Why him diss Chronixx; a very humble and spiritual yute?"
In the meantime, Black Ryno has released a preview off a diss song aimed at Popcaan, Dead Dem Ago Dead, which is also produced by Milla 9.
Earlier this morning, reports hit the web of Rick Ross being involved in a drive-by shooting/car crash. Of course there was quite the buzz on Twitter about the situation, and never one to hold his tongue, 50 Cent decided to post his thoughts, along with a pic of Ross' vehicle.
"Hahaha fat boy hit the building? lol it looks staged to me. No hole's in da car," 50 Cent tweeted.
It's no secret that Curtis and Ricky do not get along too well, and 50 is a well-known shit stirrer…so I guess I'm not really surprised by this reaction. Personally, I don't think anyone (well maybe with the exception of 50 Cent) would go through all the trouble and danger of staging a shooting, so I’m riding with Team Ross on this one.
Though Dancehall/Reggae megastar, Mr. Vegas isn't scheduled to release his debut novel until February, excerpts of this highly anticipated book have been leaked to the public; revealing some juicy details in the process.
In December, Vegas announced he was penning a cheating novel, Bare Tingz which he described was a fiction oriented piece. That announcement came two month after the singjay made headlines after catching his baby's mother, Shellian McBayne sleeping with another man in his Florida home, allegedly in front of their almost two-year-old daughter.
Though Bare Tingz is slated for release next month, excerpts of the novel were leaked online, unveiling some eye-catching details of love, heartbreak and abuse. Originally published on entertainment website, Urban Islandz, here are excerpts from the first three chapters of the Bruk It Down singer's novel.
Chapter 1: "After being crowned Miss Cornwall Beauty Queen in 1998, the young beauty moved to Kingston to be with her boyfriend Prince, where she continued on her quest to become Miss Jamaica and pursue her modeling career. Research showed her appearing in Kiprich “Breakout” video sometime around 1999. Neighbors at her Oakland Apartment recalled her nightly screams of uncontrolled passion and daily arguments between her and her boyfriend due to his insatiable appetite for women. They disappeared from Jamaica and ended up in Colombia, where she supposedly treated him to a live-in three-some relationship. He somehow violated the cardinal rules that structured their threesome relationship, which ultimately brought it to a violent end with blasts from a gun and multiple stab wounds. They were both very tight lipped about this Colombian incident.”

Rarely does a local artiste take a strong stance against the politics and undermining that occurs within Jamaican music. However, one of the island's top producers has launched a scathing attack on the industry with his newest release.
Award winning hit maker, Stephen 'Di Genius' McGregor started his New Year by releasing a thought-provoking track entitled, Me Alone. Reminiscent of Dancehall in the early 1990s, Di Genius opens the single with an intro reminiscent of a young Supercat before addressing some of the industry's biggest issues.
Wasting no time addressing his concerns, Di Genius deejays, "Me jus' a easy, watch dem, bag a man a fight fi top ten. Yow, unuh nuh see dat a di problem, Quality control: The only way fi solve them. So unnu listen me clearly and nuff a dem will seh dem a radio man, from mi nuh inna dem link, dem nuh play yuh song, unnuh get it, from Johnny Wonder email yuh song."
Di Genius addresses the long-standing issue of 'pay for play,' addressing the integrity and ethic of various disc jockeys, radio personalities and other industry players when dealing with new material. The prominent producer insists his refusal to delve into such politics while insisting preference and friendship has cause Dancehall and Reggae music to deteriorate in quality and substance.

It's been a bizarre start to 2013 for internationally revered Dancehall superstar, Sean Paul, who's facing a lawsuit from an ex-lover who has made a myriad of surprising claims.
Susanne Persson, who claims to be Sean Paul's ex-girlfriend, has sued the Got 2 Luv U singer for a whopping US80 million, insisting that the entertainer had her deported from Jamaica in June 2010 after bribing local law enforcement officials. Persson, a Swedish makeup artist and hairstylist, filed the lawsuit in New York's Manhattan Supreme Court, which includes a self-written book, Irie Jamboree that promises to expose "The Truth about Sean Paul's Cocaine Dealings, Lies, Murders and Erection Problems."
Irie Jamboree depicts a hand-drawn caricature of Persson and Sean Paul in his trademark mohawk. In the book, Persson claims Sean Paul's alleged cocaine issues severely affected their love life.
"Ever since [Paul] started using cocaine regularly, he has had severe erection problems. If it lasts one minute, it is a good day," an excerpt of the book reads.
Persson included her American Airlines itinerary, documenting her June 2010 flight from Kingston to her native Stockholm. A receipt she presented shows that Headline Entertainment, Sean Paul's promotion company, made the arrangements for said flight.
Chris Brown and Rihanna made sweet music yesterday in their own version of "Love & Basketball."
The on-again, off-again, on-again lovebirds were seated courtside at Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles for the Knicks-Lakers Christmas Day showdown.
Brown, 23, and Rihanna, 24, were all smiles during the game, which Los Angeles won, 100-94.
Back in 2009, Brown brutally beat Rihanna after a pre-Grammy Awards party. Brown pleaded guilty to assault. He avoided jail time in the plea deal and did probation and community service.

During a time in the Jamaican music industry when lyrical battles are typically at the fore, an all-out war seems on the verge of occurring amongst some of Dancehall's leading divas.
On Tuesday, the Queen of Dancehall, Lady Saw fired the latest salvo in an ongoing war of words between herself and some of Dancehall's lead female deejays; notably Tifa, Spice and Macka Diamond. The Heels On singer gave a radio interview on Tuesday to Hitz 92 FM in which she blasted her deejay compatriots.
When asked about her issues with Tifa, Lady Saw branded the Hold On singer as an 'uptown Chihuahua.' Additionally, when pressed about Macka Diamond, Lady Saw called her 'Muma Donkey' before turning her attention to Spice, saying "When Laing dun pay her a STING, all she can pay for a the suit."
Later Tuesday afternoon, Tifa tweeted Lady Saw's comments on her official Twitter page, sparking strong reactions from her fans. This led the Matie Wine singer, who recently fell out with Lady Saw after a series of disagreements, to vent her frustrations with the Queen of Dancehall's actions.
"As Queen, you should be sitting on your thrown comfortably! You are a big woman! & new found CHRISTIAN u should not be warring with the others," Tifa tweeted to Lady Saw.
She continued, "What example are you setting for those present & all other upcoming artistes, especially females? Lady saw by degrading us?" before stating, "If this is what a "Queen" is supposed to be, I'd never want to be one, I'd never want to be you."
Tifa also rubbished rumors that she tried to steal Lady Saw's boyfriend of 17 years and famed producer, Lloyd 'John John' James while insisting she stops with her borage of publicity stunts.
"U & I both know that I not take ur man! No offense! But He's not my type! & will never be! This rumor/publicity stunt needs to end," she said. "Lady Saw you are the queen of dancehall & icon! & no one can take that away from you! For that I respect you! But today was shameful."

Macka Diamond and Spice, seem to be pre-occupied in their own issues as the two artistes have landed verbal jabs against each other in recent days.
Their quarrel stems from a recent interview that Macka gave to Winford Williams via CVM's OnStage where she referred to Spice as the 'Black One' when speaking of her problems with Lady Saw. Spice retorted when she appeared on the same show last Saturday, saying, "A couldn't me Macka Diamond a stop with, because mi know mi black but me beautiful and my mouth no chaka chaka like fi Macka," before referring to an incident in 2005 where she claimed she beat up Macka following an argument.
Macka Diamond has since voiced her anger in song with the release of Kill the Black One, making several disparaging remarks about Spice while even referencing a recent controversy in which fellow deejay, Pamputtae kissed another girl.
Whether any of these confrontations will be settled remains to be seen. But until that happens, perhaps Tifa's blunt assessments regarding the recent events involving female entertainers sums it up.
"We have been reduced to this! A bunch of headless chickens arguing for no reason & continuing to kill an already dying industry," she tweeted. "It's a shame it came to this. We could have all worked together to build the female force in dancehall to take females in the industry higher."
Robbo Ranx has Dancehall royalty live in the studio! Lady Saw passes through and gets emotional as she speaks frankly about the gossip surrounding her on the internet. She also discusses her new gospel sounds and drops a live rendition of 'Heels On'!

If Dancehall/Reggae superstar, Mr. Vegas hasn't documenting his baby mother's cheating scandal enough, the popular singjay is using his traumatizing ordeal as inspiration to write an upcoming book.
The novel, Bare Tingz explores the issue of infidelity and will be Mr. Vegas' first book. The Bruk It Dung singer's effort will be unveiled early next year. Vegas, in an interview with IRIE FM on Thursday, insisted that fans will be intrigued by this read, which he describes as a fiction novel.
"It's another side of the business. People are interested in Mr. Vegas, so why not write a book." he said. "The interest that is there, why not give the people something that they want to read?"
Brown left Twitter last week after a verbal spat with comedian Jenny Johnson and came back on Sunday with some Instagram pics of Rihanna.
By Gil Kaufman
Less than a week after abandoning Twitter following a profane verbal altercation with comedian and TV producer Jenny Johnson, Chris Brown returned to the service on Sunday with the latest in a string of provocative pictures of formerly and possibly current girlfriend Rihanna.
Brown made no comment about his hiatus from the service that has bedeviled him in the past or about his return, but simply posted a black and white Instagram pic of himself with a satisfied look and a cigarette hanging out of his mouth as Rihanna lounged in the background in a bra and underwear, wrapped up in a camouflage blanket.
The caption of the picture was, "What would music today sound like if these kids didn't exist?" At press time, Brown hadn't posted any new tweets, and the only message on the page was, "Keep it here for all things Chris Brown, updates from the tour and more ... #CarpeDiem." The background of the page featured images from Brown's current tour and noted that @chrisbrown hasn't tweeted yet, with no links to his previous Twitter history.
Johnson issued a non-apology about the incident in a personal essay posted by GQ magazine on Friday, in which she said she didn't regret the incident, but had learned a lot from the ordeal, which resulted in several thousand death threats.
"This is not an apology. I just want to clear some things up," Johnson began, summarizing what went down during the heated Twitter exchange.
She wrote that she assumed people would stop talking about her after a couple days -- but they didn't.
Alliance Next Generation artist Iyara who has earned his title as Bounty Killer's top marksman since his demolition of nemesis Deva Bratt at last year's Sting concert, and is now set to create a dancehall upheaval by challenging Munga Honorable on a diss song titled "Ready Fi Kill", produced by Grammy winning producer, Austin "Payday Music" Green.
The producer stated, "Since everybody hot fi Alliance wi hot fi dem to, we naw sit down and mek no artist or no industry people walk pan Alliance when we do so much fi this music, so it is what it is".
The song is a direct reply to Munga's song titled "No Fear", where the Hilltop artist implies that he has no fear for Alliance/Gaza/JOP and went on further to state "from sitten affi dead, sitten affi dead".
Hearing these utterances didn't sit well with Alliance/ANG leader Bounty Killer, who blasted Munga on twitter by saying, "Munga u are no more honorable ur ending is inevitable from u dissed Alliance u dissed me as well so anything a anything u who ran from debra sprat 08 and flopped ur career real go there maad rass now everybody!!!", after which Munga replied "Bounty Killer u nor nuh man cyaan tek MUNGA HONORABLE HONOR. Hotfoot".
The Alliance/ANG Camp took offense to the initial song recorded by Munga Honorable due to the fact that he was thought of as an "affiliate" to the camp, therefore with the utterances said in the song there would be no way that the Alliance name should be mentioned in the song. Iyara stated, "Mi nuh really have nuh bag a ting fi say enuh, but from di General upset, mi upset, nuh man cyaa style Alliance/ANG camp and get weh, deh so it deh simple !!!"

With imagery of a highly publicized off-stage incident still fresh in his mind, internationally regarded Dancehall superstar, Mr.Vegas seeks to eliminate some of that visual elements as the scene of said incident is now up for sale.
A month after Mr. Vegas allegedly caught his baby mama having sex with another man in front of his infant daughter, the Sweet Jamaica singer will sell the premises in which that act occurred. The Florida-based town-house, estimated at US$129,000, is up for grabs according to Mr. Vegas, who announced his decision to sell the property on Monday in a radio interview.
The house gained notoriety after pictures of the act were captured by hidden cameras inside the property, and later circulated on the internet. The photos not only showed Vegas' ex-girlfriend getting it on with her lover in his bed, but also showed the singjay's one and a half year old daughter wandering into the room, stumbling on their rendezvous.
According to Mr. Vegas, he has decided to sell his town-house given the negative energy felt while living there as well as ramifications of the cheating scandal that have remained with him ever since.
Nevertheless, Mr. Vegas has been using the experience as fodder for his music as he has penned two tracks since: Bare Tingz and Rise Again. Mr. Vegas unveiled the official video for Bare Tingz on Saturday, which features footage captured of the controversial saga.

Justin Bieber is talking about the end of his and Selena Gomez's romance-sorta.
The "Boyfriend" pop star was asked about the breakup a few hours after E! News exclusively reported they had split.
"I don't know what to say," he said in an interview with the Open House Party radio show on Saturday, neither confirming nor denying the news. "I don't know what's going on in my life. To even assess that it doesn't make sense 'cause I have not made any comment."
Bieber laughed when the show's host cracked that he could pull a Taylor Swift by singing about it.
Both Gomez and Bieber are now in the NYC area. The former Wizards of Waverly Place starlet was spotted at LAX yesterday catching a flight there while Bieber has a concert tomorrow at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Laing also made comments about dancehall Veteran Ninja Man who have also publicly announced that he will no longer be doing Sting this year.
Los Angeles: Socialite Kim Kardashian is determined to marry her rapper beau Kim Kardashian and give birth to twins, without worrying about her figure.
According to reports, Kardashian has ditched plans to have a baby through a surrogate mother and she'll spend the $200,000 she had budgeted for that on cutting-edge fertility treatments.
"Kim originally planned to use a surrogate to preserve what she calls her `money-maker`, that being her curvaceous shape," showbizspy.com quoted a source as saying.
After the couple's recent trip to Italy, the 32-year-old said: "All I want now is to be Kanye's wife and the mother of his babies. I don't care what it does to my figure!"
"Kim wants to make sure her first delivery will be twins. But before that happens, Kim and Kanye plan to tie the knot in a lavish $20 million wedding as soon as her divorce from Kris Humphries is final," added the source.
She’s at it again! Rihanna teased her Twitter followers with a sexy pic of herself in bed on Oct. 25 - was she tempting Chris? Rihanna has had quite the week - she was rocked by a report suggesting Karrueche Tran was pregnant with Chris Brown’s baby (which we’ve reported is not true), and Chris has been busy directing a music video, leaving Rihanna alone without her lover. Rihanna and Chris are infamous for using Twitter to gain the other’s attention. Could her latest tweet be an attempt to lure Chris back into her arms? “Got a bad b**ch in my bed #PhuckYoLiver,” Rihanna tweeted on Oct. 25. In the photo, Rihanna and her “bad b**ch” were spotted sharing a Corona Extra. Clearly, the photo is both mysterious and intoxicating (no pun intended). It may be just what Rihanna needs to tempt Chris away from his work.
Konshens and Mr. Vegas also had a twitter face off concerning the issue.

Just when everyone thought the drama involving Dancehall superstar, Mr. Vegas and his baby's mother, Shellian McBayne had subsided, visual evidence has now emerged to add more controversy to this high-profile scandal.
A war of words played out last week between Mr. Vegas and McBayne after the entertainer claimed that he caught his baby's mother sleeping with another man in his home. Vegas, who went on a day-long Twitter tirade about what he witnessed, also alleged that McBayne committed this act in front of their one-year-old daughter, a claim that the entertainer's baby mother firmly denied.
The drama then spewed into the mainstream media where McBayne blasted Vegas in an interview with prominent talk show host, Kingsley
'Ragashanti' Stewart, insisting that the Bruk It Dung singer was unfaithful during their relationship and that she did not cheat on him given that they were broken up at the time of this most recent incident. Mr. Vegas quickly retorted on an interview with New York radio station, HOT 97, where he revealed that McBayne got married in the United States behind his back in an attempt to obtain citizenship in the United States while expressing fears over being able to see his daughter again, given that he has no legal rights to her as a result of the baby being born in wedlock overseas.
Over the weekend, more salacious details emerged about the tenuous relationship between Vegas and McBayne, with stills from a security video that was captured inside the artiste's home. While it's unknown if Vegas himself issued those pictures, Jamaican gossip website, jamaicagroupiemet.com published photos of McBayne and her supposed lover in bed while the baby wanders into the room after initially being led into a play area before the alleged act was committed.
Sean Paul is no stranger to hit records, and his latest LP, Tomahawk Technique, will no doubt house its fair share of memorable cuts. Still, no matter what the season, one of SP's biggest tracks will also be "Baby Boy," his 2003 collaboration with Beyoncé. Not only did the track earn the pair some major airplay and RIAA hardware, it also got the rumor mill spinning.
Though Sean Paul appeared in the track's video, which was directed by Jake Nava, he and the pop queen were filmed separately. "The whole direction of the video was sold to me as, 'You're in a dream world,' " Sean Paul said when he appeared on "RapFix Live" on September 12. "It was not a big deal to me, but it really blew up into crazy stuff."

The singer, who is no stranger to going under the needle, showed off her latest (and pretty large) tattoo today on Twitter, and shared that it was dedicated to her late grandmother.
"Goddess Isis- Complete Woman - Model for future generations- #GRANGRANDOLLY - always in and on my heart #1love," she tweeted.
Ri-Ri's body art shows Isis, with her throne-shaped headdress, bent down on one knee with her wings spread out under the singer's breasts. Isis is the ancient Egyptian goddess of rebirth and is one of the most common images of empowered femininity.
Less than three months ago, Rihanna lost her grandmother, Ciara "Dolly" Brathwaite, to cancer. Afterward, the "We Found Love" singer went to Twitter, posting touching photos and tweets about "Gran Gran Dolly." "Goodbye #grangranDOLLY get your beauty rest until I see you," she wrote.

Criticism continues to pour in against prominent Dancehall entertainer, Tommy Lee. However, the popular 'Gaza' artiste refuses to enter into a shouting match with his detractors, particularly Bounty Killer.
Over the last few days, Bounty Killer took to social media outlet, Twitter to voice his frustrations against Tommy Lee and other Dancehall artistes who use demonic lyrics in their songs. The Alliance leader first tweeted a link which tied in the 'Sparta' concept to homosexuality, sparking more controversy and speculation regarding Tommy Lee's 'Gaza Sparta' persona. Then the legendary Dancehall superstar issued a damning statement reprimanding Tommy Lee and other artistes who reference demonic spirits in their music.
In part the statement read, "Tired a dem now yow every man know a me say youths fi run the place, but nuh come chat nuh f****y bout freak and devil or demon, ago kill off some a dem, so when a man ago sing certain things him nuh think say nobody was gonna have a problem wid him argument dem, a when since u can just come inna dancehall and a bring een demon ppl freely so? how long we have we dancehall nice and pure mad mi mad to bloodc****, some a dem too brite and no big man inna dancehall naah stand up and tell dem say dat nuh accepted, ppl mi fight fi dancehall wid mi life and say f**k career dem naah mash it up enuh!"

Chris Brown may have rekindled his romance with Rihanna, but he says a shocking new tattoo on his neck isn't an homage to his former flame despite the eerie resemblance.
The famously hot-tempered R&B star showed off some fresh ink on the red carpet earlier this month, displaying a large tattoo of a woman’s face on the side of his neck.
The black-and-white image shows a woman whose bone structure, arched eyebrows and full lips bear a striking similarity to Brown’s onetime girlfriend Rihanna, but the tattoo version bears the scars of a serious beating.
Her full lips are covered in stitches while she looks like she has a black eye and bruising on the right side of her face.
Sources told TMZ the tattoo is not meant to portray Rihanna, but “a random woman.”
Nevertheless, the image is an unpleasant reminder of the infamous night Brown brutally assaulted Rihanna in 2009 after the Grammy Awards, causing her to be hospitalized with bruises on her face.

Highly regarded Dancehall legend, Bounty Killer doesn’t seem to be riding on the ever-growing Tommy Lee bandwagon after the Alliance leader called out the popular Gaza artiste regarding his persona and lyrical content.
Tommy Lee rose to prominence due to his unique, intimidating sound as well as him self-proclaimed 'gothic' type of Dancehall in which he sometimes wears masks in his music videos. However, that 'dark' form of Dancehall has rubbed many industry players the wrong way, including Bounty Killer, who tweeted out a link making reference to the 'Sparta' persona that Tommy Lee sports.
"All a who a call dem self "SPARTA" Click this Rassc****t http://sexandhistory.blogspot.com/2008/06/sparta-experiment-in-state-fostered.html … !! Tell Mi If Unu A "SPARTA" Again zeen?" Bounty Killer tweeted, showing a link that links the 'Sparta' concept to homosexuality.
Bounty Killer then issued a statement, through Alliance Next Generation manager, Cross Cris explaining his reservations against Tommy Lee and other artistes who sing similar lyrics.
"Tired a dem now yow every man know a me say youths fi run the place, but nuh come chat nuh f****y bout freak and devil or demon, ago kill off some a dem, so when a man ago sing certain things him nuh think say nobody was gonna have a problem wid him argument dem, a when since u can just come inna dancehall and a bring een demon ppl freely so? how long we have we dancehall nice and pure mad mi mad to bloodc****, some a dem too brite and no big man inna dancehall naah stand up and tell dem say dat nuh accepted, ppl mi fight fi dancehall wid mi life and say f**k career dem naah mash it up enuh!" the statement read.
Before Kanye West was nailin' Kim Kardashian... he used to nail other chicks while watching Ray J nail Kim Kardashian.
Multiple sources with first-hand knowledge of the situation tell us ... Kanye used the Kim K sex tape in the bedroom to get him in the mood ... and it always worked.
As we previously reported, Kanye has had a thing for Kim dating back several years ... and even tried to get her to break up with Reggie Bush in 2009 so they could get together.
We know he loves the sex tape ... he even raps about it on his upcoming album.
Now, Kanye doesn't need the sex tape anymore ... he has the real thing ... and once again, Ray J becomes irrelevant.

Despite the brutal beating she endured at his hands, Rihanna admits in her upcoming interview on Oprah's Next Chapter that she felt "protective" over ex Chris Brown, and was more concerned with his well-being than her own in the wake of the 2009 incident.
"It was embarrassing, it was humiliating," the sobbing Umbrella singer told Oprah Winfrey about the fallout. "I lost my best friend -- everything I knew switched -- switched in a night, and I couldn’t control that … it's not easy for me to interpret -- it's not easy to interpret on camera with the world watching."
The S&M singer, 24, said she felt "protective" over her violent ex after he was demonized in the media for the shellacking, adding that the timeframe "was a weird, confusing" period in her life.
"Because as angry as I was -- as angry and hurt and betrayed -- I just felt like he made that mistake because he needed help. And who's going to help him?

Chris Brown's girlfriend Karrueche Tran is said to be “cool” with the fact that Rihanna is the love of the ‘Run It’ star’s life.
Chris and Rihanna dated for a year before breaking up after the rapper assaulted the singer after a pre-Grammy Award party in 2009.
For the last six months rumours have circulated that they are once again hooking up in secret. “His girl [Karrueche] ain’t trippin’…nor is she blaming Rihanna for the blow-up.” A source told HollywoodLife.
"[Karrueche] is what you would call a ‘Ride Or Die’ chick. She’s hella cool and takes care of Chris on all levels…[Karrueche] knows where she stands and what her place in Chris’ life [is] and she’s fine with that.”
“She will take what she’s given, but we all know Rihanna will always be number 1 to him. [Karrueche] knows this and she’s cool with that,” the source went on.
While the model has accepted Rihanna’s influence in the rapper’s life that doesn’t mean she has Ok’d him seeing her again and is said to fiercely hate the ‘You Da One Star’.
Within the past week both Popcaan and Gaza Slim have taken to the media to speak out against each other with several allegations. Several members of the dancehall fraternity have offered their opinions but none as outspoken as international dancehall artist Lisa Hyper. The artist who recently released the summer single "Life Change" on the Grill Fly riddim with Lady Saw, has taken the time to give us her thoughts and she doesn't mince words about Gaza Slim.

But Lisa Hyper is har own boss say hello to d girl boss.
Gaza Slim Statement on Popcaan and Portmore Empire
Everyone is releasing statements re Portmore Empire, some truthful than others so I think its time to release mine. In a statement released by Popcaan (which I doubt was written by him considering how grammatically correct it was) is nothing but lies in an attempt at keeping the support of Gaza fans, and by Gaza, I mean Kartel because he is Gaza.
Firstly, before his arrest, Kartel did bookings for Popcaan which was handled by Calvin Haye and Andre Henry, not by the Worldboss himself, as we all know he has staff to do these things. As Kartel was arrested, Popi immediately diverted his bookings way from Moonie and Pimpin who were not arrested as yet, to other people, although the boss had invested time and money for which he has not been recompensed. Secondly, when the boss was arrested he was held at a small jail where anyone could have visited. I know because I did. Popi didn't visit because a certain producer told him to "stay far from Kartel, him nah see back road." Thirdly, in his statement, Popcaan said that he and Kartel spoke through letters. I see the Boss in court regularly so I know that's a lie. The only thing Teacha say when I ask if Popi link him is "Me nuh wah see him. Yuh nuh see how him a move. Me wish him the best."
I just want to say to Popcaan:
1. Stop the lies. You and I know that Worldboss nuh want nothing from you cause dem man deh full a pride, an him pay all a we lawyer fee.
2. The reverse psychology that you're using to try look decent, a Kartel teach you that. So don't try use it on his fans, because I was there when the white man asked you if you were going to visit Kartel and you said "Why me haffi go?"
Lastly, stop send out statement bout 'bare badness backa dat." Maybe a people you a try impress but, sigh, me haffi laugh. That's all I am going to say. This is my only statement on the Portmore Empire.

After weeks of silence and a plethora of rumors that have infiltrated Dancehall circles, internationally acclaimed Dancehall superstar, Popcaan has finally spoken out; addressing every topic of speculation that his name has been involved in in recent times.
With the Portmore Empire officially disbanding last month and fellow ex-member of the group, Tommy Lee stating during an interview on Friday that Popcaan was not a member of Kartel's newly formed PG13 stable, the Party Shot deejay has come forward to set the record straight amidst rumors of a falling out between himself and the self-professed Worl' Boss.
In a statement sent out to the media on Monday, Popcaan talked in detail about various topics, including his thoughts of the Portmore Empire's dissolution.
"The world already knows that my career was launched from the greatest dancehall school and business entity, The Portmore Empire/Adidjaheim Records led by Vybz Kartel. Since Vybz Kartel's incarceration in September 2011 I remained a loyal and contributing member of this unit until May 2012 when the Portmore Empire was dissolved," he said.
"Rumors started as early as September 2011 that I had left the Portmore Empire, this was not so. My actions in October 2011 were to seek booking representation as this very important function was no longer viable for me with the incarceration of the head of my management and booking company. To date I have no formal management or booking agreement and only since June 2012, with the dissolution of the Portmore Empire have I engaged the services of a lawyer to put these agreements in place."
"From September 2011 to present I have worked hard and stayed focused on my career with my main intention to make sure that the music from the Portmore Empire was being released and the brand remained in the forefront of the dancehall music industry. I feel that I did that to the best of my ability with the release of songs like Party Shot, Fry Yiy, Coolie Gal, Bad Mind, She A Gwaan Good, Nuh Sell Out and Step Like Dead and with performances all over the world."

The most asked question in the streets since the inception of Vybz Kartel's newly formed PG13 crew … is Popcaan a member of the crew?
Recently Vybz Kartel sent out a press release stating that he's disbanding the Portmore Empire … was Popcaan apart of the disbanding as well?
According to a source close to the Gaza the disbanding of the Portmore Empire is a wake up call for members to let them beware that Vybz Kartel is still capable of taking their careers to the next level even though he's behind bars.

Chris Brown, Drake Crews In Physical Brawl At NYC Club
By Rebecca Thomas
Rappers stay schemin'. And if the reports are to be believed, R&B singers do too. After hitting up the Maybach Music Group listening party in the Bronx, Young Money rapper Drake headed to NewYork's SoHo, where his camp reportedly got into an altercation with Chris Brown's crew on Wednesday night.
According to TMZ, the NYPD has confirmed that Drizzy and Breezy got into a fight at W.I.P. nightclub, where bottles were allegedly thrown. A photo posted to Brown's Instagram showing the singer sporting a bloody gash on his chin quickly made the rounds on Thursday (June 14). But Breezy's timeline had been sanitized entirely at press time.
Drake and Brown have been the subject of rumors, particularly in recent months, as buzz built that the two were fighting over Rihanna. Brown's long-term relationship with the Bajan singer imploded after he assaulted her in 2009, but they continued to be linked to each other. Drake has spoken in song about his own fleeting romantic encounter with Rihanna; the pair were spotted out together during Memorial Day weekend in Miami,
Five people were injured in last night's brawl, before the New York City Police Department were called in the early morning hours, around 4 a.m. TMZ reported that Brown and Drake were not at the club when police arrived; no arrests were made.
A few weeks ago several Jamaican girls including public figures were exposed by the infamous jamaicangirlsexpose website which was shut down by the local authorities. However the website as resurface once again branding the name http://www.Jamaicanreak.in with the tagline 'Exposing Jamaican Girls Won't Ever Stop!
It is evident that Jamaicanreak has strong affiliations with Jamaicangirlsexpose as it hosted several of the same photos which were posted on Jamaicangirlsexpose.
They even warned that this time around guys will be exposed as well.
Are Chi Ching Ching and Quick Cook feuding? That is the question asked by party goers who attended the 7th annual CMG BBQ/Dream Launch this past Monday night in Queens, NY. The event was a huge success and as with the previous year excitement and surprises marked the night. The vibes were nice and drinks where flowing, patrons mingled with the likes of Ricky Blaze, Chi Ching Ching, Wacky and Quick Cook just to name a few when the DJ dropped a crowd favorite with the song "Party Shot" by billboard chart topper Popcaan and featuring rising dancehall artist Quick Cook.
Seeing this as his cue to grab the mic, Quick Cook made his way to the stage and started singing along to the delight of his fans, an impromptu performance took place that led into more of Quick Cook songs. The DJ perhaps getting carried away called on to dancer turned artist Chi Ching Ching who took over with some lyrics of his own and seemed to be throwing words. Quick Cook took it in stride as he was there for the sole purpose of enjoying himself as special guest to Richard Harding CEO of Calico Music Group. Letting the vibes flow he made his way to the bar for some more champagne, but edged on by his fans, went to the DJ "Sharky" from Superforce, dropped some money on the table and performed some more to screaming cheers.
When asked on a brewing feud between himself and Chi Ching Ching, Quick Cook stated "As of right now I'm in NYC just trying to promote myself and push my career. Last night I was booked to be at a Memorial BBQ in QUEENS and that where I was, from my understanding me and ching ching chink have no beef is just to how what happen mek di fanz dem pree like there is tension between us. What happen was as party shot a play mi tell the selecta fi pull up that and forward then my song "NO ID MAN A VIP" start play as my song was playing and selecta that was with ching ching chink call him up and and he went up on and said " dem nuh hot, dem feel like hot sell a shop warn in I'm the chain saw man".
Rihanna has posed topless to promote her latest fragrance - aptly named Nude.
The singer shows off her new blond hair and her knockout figure in a series of seductive photos shot to promote the new scent.
In one, she covers her chest with her left arm while running her right hand through her long locks.
In another, she throws her head back - her untamed hair cascading down her face - with her mouth open.
“I got a big shoot tomorrow for a surprise fragrance for my ladies called . . . NUDE!” the 24-year-old posted on Twitter.

An unnamed insider has revealed how Chris Brown was happy to have a love triangle with both ex-flame and singer Rihanna, and current girlfriend Karrueche Tran, something which RiRi refused to let happen.
Despite the musical pair collaborating earlier last month on remixes of each others’ songs, thing’s got bitter between the two after Brown’s alleged diss to Rihanna on 'Mercy.' Said the insider:
"Chris tweeted it wasn’t about her, but she knew it was a stab in the back from him. He still has so many control issues."
It was thought that the 'Turn Up The Music' singer had begged Rihanna to take him back, but at the same time he refused to call it off with Karrueche.
Rihanna finally told him that she was going to start seeing other people if he didn’t commit, which didn’t go down to well with the 23-year-old.
"Chris was not willing to end his relationship with Karrueche, even though he made Rihanna believe that he was still madly in love with her," reports Hollywood Life from an unnamed source.
"Chris is the one who initially reached out to Rihanna begging her for forgiveness. He was incredibly sweet to Rihanna in the beginning, telling her how much he missed her, how Karrueche could not even compare to her, how he wanted to make things work."
The source goes on to add that Rihanna would have gone back to Chris, but he wanted to have his cake and eat it too! Once Rihanna made it clear that she wouldn’t stand to be his side chick, Chris dissed her.

Will Smith just slapped a Ukrainian reporter across the face at the Moscow premiere of "Men in Black 3" -- and it was all caught on tape.
The Ukrainian reporter tries to kiss Will on the lips on the red carpet and the actor angrily pushes him away and then backhands him across the face.
You can clearly see that Will is incredibly pissed that the guy showed overt affection toward him.
After Will slaps the guy, Will says, "He's lucky I didn't sucker punch him."
We're told the dude who kissed Will is a television reporter who often kisses celebrities -- it's his schtick.
For the record, Will just came out in support of gay marriage.
A source on scene tells TMZ, the reporter's mouth brushed up against Will's and that's why the actor reacted so violently. Despite the incident, Will stayed positive ... and happily continued to sign autographs for fans and do red carpet interviews.

Four years removed from the most controversial moment in her career, one of Jamaica's most prominent media figures insists that she's stronger in spite of the public fallout.
Amelia 'Milk' Sewell became one of Jamaica's most regarded television hosts during her stint as the host of CVM Television's E-Strip as she instantly connected with fans of all sectors of Jamaica while becoming a face of Dancehall & Reggae music. However, Sewell's career and life was forever altered while at its peak after a sex tape of her went viral in 2008, in which she was seen performing oral sex on her long-time boyfriend and prominent disc jockey turned deejay, Michael 'ZJ Liquid' Brissett.
Milk spoke out publicly about the fallout from said tape during a recent interview on the Lauren O Lauren (LOL) show, stating that originally found out about the tape leaking through her hairdresser who discovered the tape on a customer's phone. Once she found out, Sewell first thought about her family and how she would explain such a thing to them, particularly her son.
"My son is old enough to understand. I just equipped him with the response to anything that anyone could ever say about the tape. He goes to Wolmer's…believe u me, no one said anything to him, no teacher asked him about it…They saved him from going to school every day and being jeered.”

Two of Dancehall's leading ladies have rubbished speculation of a developing feud between each other following a recent interview that sparked some controversy.
The Queen of Dancehall, Lady Saw was the subject of an interview on TVJ's Entertainment Report which aired last Friday in which she was asked about which current female artiste could be next in line to take over the Dancehall scene. When asked if prominent divas, Tifa and Spice were the artistes best fit to succeed her, Lady Saw was claimed to have said, 'Never in my league, my shoes can never be filled.'
However, the iconic deejay categorically denied saying that in response to the question of her successor; insisting that she was displeased with the way Entertainment Report cut her interview; especially given her strong friendship with Spice.
However, speculation about a beef with Tifa intensified after rumors spread that Tifa had been impregnated by Lady Saw's longtime boyfriend, John John. Tifa had reportedly sent a Blackberry Broadcast Message prior to the interview in which she denied taking away Lady Saw's boyfriend while claiming that these rumors were part of an ongoing publicity stunt which she believed the Queen of Dancehall.

Former Gully Squad deejay, Flexxx has been quite vocal about a recent falling out with his former mentor in recent months and refuses to back down.
The Steppin' Razor deejay and long-time friend, Mavado have been at odds ever since a radio interview last November in which the Gully Gaad denied that Flexxx was on tour with him while being named a person of interest in relation to a criminal investigation in the St. Andrew North region. Following that interview, Flexxx revealed in an interview that he had written many of Mavado's material during the singjay's early stages while the Settle Down deejay claimed that his former protégé had long been mimicking him.
Recently, Flexxx released a single on the Aurora Skies Riddim entitled Real Gangsta, which many in the Dancehall industry have speculated is a diss aimed at Mavado and current Gully Squad protégé, Chase Cross.
In the single, Flexxx deejays, "Real gangstas, we straight we no have no bend/we real we nah pretend/some bwoy dem no real, dem bad mind yuh but yuh nuh bad mind dem."
In a recent interview, Flexxx neither confirmed nor denied that Real Gangsta was a diss song aimed at the Gully Squad but insisted that he refuses to back down from Mavado and Chase Cross given things they've been saying about him publicly in recent months.

Internationally acclaimed Dancehall/Reggae artiste, Demarco has taken aim at one of Jamaican music's breakthrough superstars in the wake of recent speculation over his latest single, Kingston City.
In Kingston City, Demarco allegedly fires lyrical shots in the direction of Portmore Empire deejay, Popcaan. Demarco deejays, "Nuh mek mi mek forensic white chalk the street, yaaooow! Dem thief mi style and nuh ask mi fi it, mi hear behind mi back some bwoy a beat off dem beak but tell dem wey mi si heart nuh leap."
Since the video for Kingston City was released late last month, fans have wondered if the single was a diss track aimed at Popcaan. In response to the speculation, Demarco insists that the song was done as a freestyle to feature on his upcoming mixtape, Nuh Dirt. However, in a recent interview the Starkutt Records singjay didn't deny that some of the lyrics in Kingston City were aimed at Popcaan and even accused the Only Man She Want deejay of stealing his style.
In response to Kingston City, Popcaan has since released an alleged counteraction to Demarco's single entitled, Fry Yiy in which he deejays, "The whole place a sey Fry Yiy, some bwoy fi write some hit song and stop cry."

Long Distance Relationship will be Available on iTunes soon (21st Hapilos Distribution - Johnny Wonder)
Breakthrough Dancehall starlet, Tiana has once again shifted styles to rave reviews as she's teamed with dancehall deejay, Stein for a sensual duet entitled Long Distance Relationship.
Produced by New Planet Records, Long Distance Relationship shows very contrasting sides of two artistes who are more duly noted for their hardcore, thought-provoking lyrics. For their latest single, Tiana and Stein talk about the emotional toll that a long distance relationship can have on a couple and emphasizes on the difficulty of coping without physical interaction.
Stein delivers strong lyrical ingenuity through his verses, deejaying "From di fus' time wi meet, di ting connect, a nuh fi money, a nuh fi assets, but when reality intercept, wi haffi keep in touch pon di internet, true love is hard to find so wi nah let go, mi know yuh nuh wan' lef', mi nuh wan' lef yuh, nuh pay dem vanity nuh mind when dem wan’ get yuh, di Almighty mek yuh perfect, Jah bless yuh."
Is she a good Twitter girl gone bad? Rihanna has taken to the 140-character site to offer up a steamy image of herself on Wednesday - in which she strikes a strategically covered-up topless pose with the message, “Where have you been all my life?!”
The post has sent already-wagging tongues into overdrive, wondering if this is just another part of her alleged feud with Chris Brown’s current girlfriend, model Karreuche Tran. Last week, the songstress tweeted a feasibly harmless but potentially offensive picture of a packet of rice cakes dressed up in hoop earrings and shades with the caption, “Ima make you my b****.” Rihanna’s followers made the obvious link to Tran, who is half-Vietnamese.
Then, when one of Rihanna’s followed asked her to save him some rice cakes, she responded with, “Kinda DRY.” Was it all a thinly veiled dig? Maybe. Maybe not. On her “Birthday Cake (Remix)” single with Chris Brown, she does sing, “Come and get it / Sweeter than a rice cake / Cake worth sipping.” And anyone who has ever eaten a rice cake knows that yes, they can be dry.
While we were busy decoding Rihanna’s twitpic game, Karreuche retaliated with Nicki Minajlyrics on her Facebook. “I win you loose!!! [sic] *nicki voice* I mean I got him, you got pictures of him” with a friend posting adding, “I’m Angelina, you Jennifer. C’mon, you see where Brad at.” Jab? Again, maybe. Maybe not.
Karreuche tweeted that she doesn’t even have a Facebook page, but that retreat didn’t seem to phase Rihanna, who fire back song lyrics from Minaj’s rival, Lil Kim: “I’m a leader, yall on some followin s-, comin in dis game on some modeling s-!”
Is this a full-on feud? It’s all still a mystery. Either way, it’s clear these two won’t be trading friendship bracelets and braiding each others’ hair anytime soon.
What do you think? Is this a war of words or is just some silly social-media back-and-forth?

Just days after reports emerged of a possible reconciliation involving American pop sensations, Chris Brown and Rihanna, it seems as if Dancehall's most enigmatic power couple may be following suit.
Internationally acclaimed Dancehall superstars, Beenie Man and D'Angel have endured public ridicule and scrutiny since the latter artiste filed for divorce last summer following a rollercoaster five-year marriage. Both deejays have fired occasional salvos in each other's direction since the divorce proceedings were publicized, with D'Angel's former boyfriend, Bounty Killer even weighing in on their break-up, leading to the re-ignition of Beenie's long-time rivalry with the "War Lord."
However, reports have now surfaced that Beenie and D'Angel are indeed getting back together again. According to those reports, a source very close to the former couple revealed that the two entertainers still love each other and have been seeing each other privately in order to avoid possible media fallout.
Chris Brown And Rihanna Reunite On 'Cake' Remix
by MTV News
It was only a matter of time. For the past few weeks the world has been at a stand still with rumors swirling of one time lovebirds Rihanna and Chris Brown working with each other again. Just in time for her 24th birthday C Breezy and Rihanna made their reunion official releasing the remix to Ri's "Birthday Cake" track.
On the Internz/The-Dream produced record, Breezy adds his melodies to the song crooning about his fantasies to blow the candles out on Rihanna's cake.
"Girl I wanna f--k you right now. Been a long time I been missing your body" Brown sings on the remix. "Lemme, lemme turn the lights down. When I, when I go down it's a private party."
During the 2012 Grammy Awards weekend word began to spread that Rihanna and Brown were spotted at the same event with some reports suggesting the two were seen holding hands. A day later "Cake" producers Da Internz hinted Rihanna was getting ready to release a "big" remix with a special guest that would "shock the world."

Nicki Minaj is known for her over-the-top stage persona, but her performance at Sunday's 54th Annual Grammy Awards took things to a whole new level.
Wearing an Oscar de la Renta dress, the 29-year-old shocked viewers when she performed her new song "Roman Holiday" for the very first time. Channeling her alter ego Roman Zolanski, Minaj's performance pushed religious boundaries.
"I had this vision for Roman for him to be sort of exorcised," she explained on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show Monday. "People around him tell him he's not good enough because he's not normal and he's not blending in with the Average Joe."
The Grammy nominee's performance included a Catholic confessional, demonic possession, dancing monks and a levitation scene.
"The people around him are afraid because they've never seen anything like him. He wanted to show that not only is he amazing . . . but he's never going to change. He's never going to be exorcised," Minaj said. "Even when they throw the holy water on him, he still rises above."

The man who discovered Nicki Minaj before she was famous reveals that she was "disgraced" by his suggestion that she turn into a sex symbol to sell records.
Big Fendi credits himself as the man who gave Onika Maraj her start in the rap game, and reveals how she was not the outrageous persona she is today. The news may come as a shock to fans who know Nicki as the sex symbol with the huge derriere, but it wasn't always this way.
"I changed her name, I changed her image," Fendi told The Come Up.
"Me and Nicki Minaj was arguing because I wanted her to be the sex symbol and talk about p***y and get n****s open and she told me I was disgracing her name... But she still talking about p***y and ass, ass, ass," he added in reference to her remix of Big Sean's hit single 'Dance (A$$).'
Fendi also claims he is owed money by Nicki's label Young Money.
Do you believe Nicki was a prude before she became famous?
In his own words "Me ready fi clash any artist weh have a problem with di me. We nuh deal wid badmind, we nuh born wid it or catch dem things deh. Nuh blood boiling, We system clean, lone Ital food and herbs to we system".
And if you wonder where this comes from, very simply... Sting and the unfinished "Rumors Of War". After releasing "Nah Tek No Talk", Teflon was inundated with his fans asking for more. Of course Teflon wants it to be clear that first and foremost he loves and breathes for his craft, his music, and that any clashing is for lyrical entertainment and not personal, well not personal to any artists, but some of it personal to some parts of the business. So to "Follow Di Arrow" he aims and promises to give his fans what they want, and at the same time, if any artist dare to challenge him, he's willing and able!

Veteran Dancehall deejay, Chad Simpson, more popularly known as Mr. G has called out former stable mate, Cham following recent comments the artiste made about him, Red Rat and Alliance leader, Bounty Killer.
Cham gave an interview on CVMTV's OnStage on January 14 where spoke about the success of his hot new single, Wine as well as the role of long-time mentor, Bounty Killer in building his career. During the interview, Cham claimed that during the late 90s, he had bigger hits than Bounty Killer associates, Mr. G and Red Rat but didn't rise to prominence as quickly due to lack of promotion. Additionally, Cham claimed that Bounty Killer assisted in his career as built his way toward mainstream success in the early 2000s and beyond.
Responding to Cham's claims, Mr. G, formerly known as Goofy, intimated through a recent interview that the Drop It Like You Doing It singer has always been jealous of him and Red Rat's successes.
"How Baby Cham fi talk say inna 1996-7, him have bigger songs than Rat and me by far, but the only thing him never get was promotion, and how much him never get the highlight even though he was bigger than me and Rat. Cham is nothing but a red-eye guy, me and Rat was the pacesetters, we do the ting, travel out the world and been travelling. It has been reported on several news outlets that Dancehall superstar Mavado recently got married to his longtime companion, Monique McKenzie. However according to a key member of Mavado's TEAM it's just a rumor.
According to one of the reports: A supposed copy of their marriage license application can be found on the internet. Though the venue for said venue remains unknown and pictures being leaked from the marriage are unfounded, the website claims that sources close to the couple insisted that they were going to marry. Last year, reports surfaced that Mavado, whose real name is David Constantine Brooks, intended to marry McKenzie at some point.
Ladies don't believe this rumor of Mavado being married…However is he engaged?
Pertaining to his musical exploits so far in 2012, Mavado recently unveiled his new collaboration single alongside DASECA first lady, Raine Seville entitled Cheating Games. Additionally, he released the sequel of his popular single, Settle Down featuring dancer turned deejay, Chi Ching Ching as well as Clean Everyday on the DJ Frass produced, Riva Stone Riddim.
Karrueche Tran and Rihanna almost took their disdain for each other to another level recently when they met up at a Hollywood club. Chris Brown was present but for once, he was not the source of the drama well, actually he was the source, he just wasn't the one causing the drama.
Apparently, Karrueche and Rihanna aren't really buddy-buddy and don't get along. It shouldn't come as a surprise though, since everyone is speculating that Rihanna is trying to steal C Breezy from Karrueche.
Though that probably won't happen, it seems like Karrueche is letting Rihanna know where she stands - and it isn't with Chris Brown!
Media Take Out is reporting that the two women almost got into a spat over Chris when they both ended up at the same club in Los Angeles.
Nothing happened, but the two were reportedly ready to come to blows.
Oddly enough, they all looked pretty happy when they were leaving separately, it should be noted.
Do you think Karrueche and Rihanna would actually have a physical fight over Chris Brown or is this just Media Take Out trying to create drama where there is none?

Internationally acclaimed Dancehall/Reggae superstar, Sean Paul appears to have run out with patience regarding staunch critics of his music back home in Jamaica.
The Grammy-winning deejay, currently in the island celebrating his 39th birthday, has long been criticized by Jamaican music fans for not putting out "authentic" Dancehall songs since unveiling his Dutty Rock in 2002. Known for doing several successful Dancehall/Reggae singles with a crossover vibe, including the recently released Got 2 Luv U featuring American singer, Alexis Jordan, Sean Paul has copped mass criticism from locals yearning for him to produce a more original Dancehall sound.
However, the We Be Burning deejay took to official Twitter account to sharply address said critics; suggesting the work he does should be appreciated more by Jamaicans.
"RRR! ALL JAMAICANS WEH NO LIKE NOR RATE MI OR MY MUSIC GO S*CK U MADA WIT STRAW!!! A ME A REPRESENT U! RRR!!!” he tweeted.
Shortly thereafter, fans called out Sean Paul for his tough talk. Upon reading fan retorts, Sean Paul further clarified his stance.

Will Rihanna and Chris Brown do the unthinkable?
by Free Britney
Nearly three years after the infamous assault that ended their relationship and nearly put him in jail, the two are working toward getting back together, according one of the most prolific and unreliable celebrity news sources around! That's crazy!
Chris Brown and Rihanna's Tweets this week got people talking, and MediaTakeOut (dot) com has apparently "been hearing reports for some time" that Rihanna and Brown are working on "RECONCILIATION" (their word, and unnecessary capitals).
SO is it happening or not?
According to the celebrity gossip site, a person close to Chris Brown says he'd like nothing more than to get back with her. But since the "incident" Chris felt that he'd destroyed any and all chances of a relationship with his "soul mate."
So he stayed away from her, by law, at her request.
But now things have changed. Rihanna and Chris are speaking to each other on the phone, exchanging IMs and text messages to boot. Insanity!
She's in Barbados right now but they reportedly plan to meet up when Rihanna returns to Los Angeles next week.
Chris is said to be ecstatic, but Jay Z and Rihanna's managers are reportedly furious that they're back on speaking terms and may reconcile?
Will they? Is any or all of this true? Stay tuned ...
Beyonce is going to be appearing on Rockin' New Year's Eve With Ryan Seacrest tonight. Will she be telling the world she had her baby at that point?
No one seems to know what exactly Beyoncé will be doing on the show as she would be far too pregnant to perform. However, is it possible that Bey will be making the announcement that she has given birth to her baby on the show? That would definitely fit right in with the dramatic ways Beyoncé has been doing things lately!
Announcing her pregnancy at the VMA's and then announcing the birth on Rockin' New Year's Eve? That would be a pretty amazing feat!
Since Beyoncé is not on the scheduled performers list and Ryan Seacrest said he has no idea what Beyoncé will be doing, is it possible? Will the world finally have confirmation that Beyoncé has given birth?
Here is what Ryan said :
"You will see Beyoncé on the show, I can't tell you too much because they don't tell me too much, but if you're a Beyoncé fan -- and man, is she looking good these days -- you'll want to see Beyoncé."
This is going to cause a lot of speculation up until tonight's show!

Prominent Dancehall artiste, Mr. Lexx has once again called out long-time nemesis, Bounty Killer; adding more juice to rivalry that dates back to the early 2000s.
Mr. Lexx recently gave an interview to the Lauren O Lauren show on Flow TV; expressing his thoughts on various topics, including the root of his rivalry with Bounty Killer. Their rivalry made headlines earlier this year following a highly-publicized Twitter war; exchanging heated words after Mr. Lexx made a statement that disc jocks are discriminating against certain artistes regarding airplay.
Mr. Lexx conceded that the rivalry did hamper his career somewhat given Bounty's strong influence and presence within the Dancehall industry. According to the Swag Diggy deejay, he always had respect for Bounty Killer and never tried to call out Bounty Killer. However, Mr. Lexx believes that once he burst onto the scene with singles such as Full Hundred amongst others, Bounty Killer felt threatened by his talent.
"Even though I put this behind me, all I that I think came from the mere fact that I'm so talented and I was a threat to him and whoever was running the business at the time," he said.
Are Rihanna and Chris Brown dating again? Various reports have indicated that they may be an item again, and a recent tweet to Drake from Ri may be part of the evidence!
Rihanna has dated Drake briefly in the past, as well as Chris Brown. More recently, she's worked with Drake on his album "Take Care" on the title track. Now, many are speculating that the R&B/pop princess is longing for Chris Brown again, despite their troubles before. According to Global Grind, the recent Twitter message from Rihanna said:
"He doin it right, but I don't want it from him"
Rather cryptic, but the article is suggesting that she's talking to Drake and wanting Chris Brown back. That's an interesting interpretation of one simple tweet. However, their readers have voted in a poll on the same article and 75% have overwhelmingly voted that "Yes, but she's trying to hide it" when asked if Rihanna's heart is crying out for Chris.
Many people will remember that years ago, Rihanna and Chris Brown were dating, but it all ended after Breezy got abusive. Since then, both have matured somewhat, although Brown has shown flashes of his temper at times. Should Rihanna take him back, or should she maybe re-consider Drake, who seems to have his act together right now, so to speak?

His mentor may be behind bars but Portmore Empire deejay and breakthrough artiste, Popcaan seems willing to take on one of Vybz Kartel's biggest rivals with his new single, No Yes Man.
Within the first two days of its release the song got over 200,000 views on the popular jjevafrassonceagain Youtube channel.
The TJ Records-produced single hails as the newest release from Popcaan, regarded by many fans and Dancehall observers as the most improved artiste for 2011. No Yes Man follows up #1 efforts such as Raving, Only Man She Want and Clean that have made Popcaan an instant hit in the Dancehall industry; touting him as one of the future superstars within the genre.
In No Yes Man, Popcaan showcases sharpshooting lyrical content; apparently taking shots at Aidonia, a long-time rival of Vybz Kartel and the Portmore Empire.

Rihanna seems to be making trouble everywhere she goes these days. On Sunday night, she accepted her American Music Award for Favorite R&B/Soul Album remotely from the U.K., where she was performing on "The X Factor." And part of her ensemble for that performance had heads turning.
Donning a demure plaid dress and clunky punk shoes with writing scrawled all over them, one phrase on the footwear had some people up in arms. According to The Telegraph, the words "F--- Off" were written on Ri's shoes. While the offensive statement may have left audiences a bit shocked, a spokesperson for the show played down the controversy.
"There were no close-up shots of Rihanna's shoes," the spokesperson said. "We believe the performance was suitable."
Rihanna caused a similar stir last December when she appeared on the British reality program scantily clad in a provocative outfit.

Just a few days after denying that he fathered a child with a fan last year, Justin Bieber has reportedly agreed to take a paternity test in the matter.
According to TMZ, Bieber, 17, has vowed to take a DNA test in two weeks when he returns from an overseas trip to prove that he is not the father of accuser Mariah Yeater's three-month old child. TMZ, citing unnamed sources "directly connected with Justin," reported that after Bieber takes the paternity test his lawyers plan to sue Yeater. The sources said that Bieber's lawyer, Howard Weitzman, reached out to Yeater's attorneys on Friday to confirm that the DNA test will take place and have already chosen the lab they will use. After the test takes place, the "Baby" singer's team will reportedly file suit, though TMZ did not specify what kind of legal action is planned. A spokesperson for Bieber could not be reached for comment on the TMZ report.
Bieber -- who was a big winner at the MTV Europe Music Awards on Sunday night with wins as Best Pop and Best Male -- appeared on the "Today" show on Friday to promote his just-released Christmas album, Under the Mistletoe, and addressed the situation. "I'd just like to say basically that none of those allegations are true," he told Matt Lauer. "I know I'm going to be a target, but I'm never going to be a victim."

One of the main architects of the internationally-acclaimed production, The Overproof Riddim, has launched a full-throttle lyrical attack against fellow veteran producer, Don Corleon.
Patrick "Roach" Samuels, former producer and long-time friend of prominent Dancehall artiste, Vybz Kartel, called out Don Corleon in a YouTube video released on Wednesday. In the video, Roach accused Don Corleon of corrupting the mind of "Di Teacha," amongst other artistes and producers, calling him Dancehall's "poison." Additionally, Roach claimed that the Major & Minor Riddim producer tried to prevent his first major production, the Siren Riddim (2005), from being released via Greensleeves Records CEO, Chris Cracknell. The Riddim featured Kartel, along with Buju Banton, Busy Signal, and Anthony B amongst several other major Dancehall/Reggae acts.
Roach says in the video, "How yuh fi call Chris Cracknell an' kno seh di man a go call an’ tell mi back seh him nuh fi tek di fuss Riddim weh mi put out?"
After the call, Roach intimated that Chris called him about his conversation with Don; letting Kartel know in the process.

Internationally acclaimed singjay, Windel Beneto Edwards, more popularly known as Gyptian, is the subject of controversy following a drunken rant recently captured on video
A video surfaced Thursday on youtube with the "Beautiful Lady" singer in studio addressing how his collaboration with American hip-hop superstar, Nicki Minaj came about for the "Hold Yuh" remix. According to Gyptian, Minaj never jumped on the original "Hold Yuh" single when asked to voice the song. Once the single gained international acclaim, Gyptian implied that's when Minaj decided to do the collaboration.
"Is a f**k up b, guess wah bun me out a everything and den di gal a jump pon di song. Di b***h a get $25,000 from VP dem fi get di bloodcl*t song hard and never bloodc***t go pon di song, and when di song go out and get big now she jump pon di song off a her own. It’s not Tom, or Harry who has caught dancehall artiste, Spice’s eye - it’s Dick.
The humorous, pun-filled song, My Boyfriend, Dick, released only a few days ago on producer, Seanizzle’s Sunrise Riddim, has already garnered raised eye-brows, laughs and more importantly increasing airplay.
My Boyfriend, Dick tells of Spice’s affection for her fictitious boyfriend of that name, and she says, “The idea came to me when I heard the beat. It just popped into my head and I built a song around it. It’s definitely a fun song and I know there are some persons who will misread the title, but it’s just a fun play on words. I try to make my songs fun, with vivid imagery and sometimes with lots of puns that the fans will love.”
Spice, whose correct name is Grace Hamilton and a past student of the St. Catherine High School, says drama and poetry were among her favourites in high school, “So that has definitely impacted what I write and sing about and how I put my music together. My dramatic background definitely comes out in my performances and stage show fashion. It’s that kind of love for the arts that led me to the Edna Manley College, but I opted to forego that and went straight into music as a career instead.”
In addition to My Boyfriend, Dick, Spice’s single, Hot Patty Wine, produced by her management team, Movers and Shakers Ltd., has been slowly making its way through parts of Africa. “That song has both an Afrocentric feel to it plus aspects of dancehall, and those are both things which an African fan-base love. I’ll be there very soon, plus I have another surprise up my sleeve for my African fans - so they can definitely watch out.”
Nicki Minaj is known for being one of the strongest female voices in the hip-hop world - even Rolling Stone put her on their list of the top rappers in the game right now - but it sure wasn't easy.
The 28-year-old, who is not married to Drake, revealed in the November issue of Cosmopolitan that her struggles to make it in the music industry fell so heavily on her that she felt completely worthless and even contemplated suicide.
"I kept having doors slammed in my face," Minaj told the mag. "I felt like nothing was working. I had moved out on my own, and here I was thinking I'd have to go home."
But going home wasn't the worst of her thoughts.
"It was just one dead end after another. At one point, I was, like, 'What would happen if I just didn't wake up?' That's how I felt. Like, 'Maybe I should just take my life?'"
Luckily, Minaj (and all her rapping alter egos) didn't let the constant rejection discourage her from trying to do what she loves. And in the end, our little star got linked up with some of the industry's greatest artists, created a Barbz fan army on Twitter and was asked to open for Britney Spears' latest tour, so we'd say it all worked out pretty well.
Like the true go-getter Nicki is, she has a lot more plans for her future.
"I will have put out five albums and will have an Oscar and Grammys," she says. "And I will be getting married and, a couple of years after that, will have a bun in the oven. My whole life is about being Nicki Minaj now. It's a never-ending saga."
2012 is going to be a great year for Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z.
The couple will welcome their first child in February, the 30-year-old singer announced on Australia's Sunday Night.
"Being pregnant already has changed my life. My husband and I have been together for 10 years, all of my twenties," she said. "I just feel like it's time and I'm very grateful that God has blessed me with the biggest gift any human can have."
Married since 2008, Knowles said she and Jay-Z (real name: Shawn Carter) made a conscious decision to hold off on starting a family.
"I think because I've accomplished a lot of things for myself and I really know who I am, I didn't rush into anything," she explained. "If there's any time, right now is the time, and I'm so happy."
Before she became pregnant, Knowles took a break from the spotlight to re-examine her life. "It was a bit overwhelming," she said. "I was a bit numb and kind of lost."
"I never even realized I needed a year off. I never realized I don't know how to take a year off," she added. "I've been managed by my father for a long time, and it's been a real change being separated from him. It was scary, but it empowered me."

Internationally acclaimed deejay, Michelle "D'Angel" Downer has fired the latest salvo in the recently re-ignited Beenie Man-Bounty Killer feud; claiming her "Goodies" is what’s caused the rivalry to re-emerge.
D'Angel unveiled her controversial new single "Good Good," on Friday; produced by the self-titled record label, Good Good Productions. The song addresses Bounty and Beenie's recent exchange of diss songs, suggesting that her loving has caused unnecessary tension between the two legendary artistes.
At the beginning of the song, D'Angel refers to herself as "The Ex," before deejaying, "Di odda day mi see two man a par, All of a sudden my goods mek two man a war, and di two man a two mega star, Me unnu wan blame? Betta doe tek it too far." Later in the song, D'Angel asks for Beenie and Bounty to take her name out of their feud before telling Bounty, "Yuh will only be a b***h, if you counteract this."
Last month, it was reported the singer was smitten with British boxer-turned-model Dudley O'Shaughnessy. Rihanna is believed to have hit it off with O'Shaughnessy after handpicking him to appear in her new music promo.
The singer is currently in the UK with her world tour and has been enjoying the London nightlife. She was seen partying at Mayfair club Mahiki with O'Shaughnessy on Thursday evening.
Rihanna enjoyed herself into the early hours and was helped out of the nightspot by two burley security guards at 4.30am. Rihanna - who was wearing a lumberjack shirt, jeans, sunglasses and a fur gilet - then jumped into an awaiting car. She was photographed with a huge smile on her face as she and O'Shaughnessy were driven away.
The 23-year-old star was reportedly "flirting outrageously" with O'Shaughnessy on the set for the promo 'We Found Love'. The music video was filmed in Northern Ireland last month and the pair were spotted getting very close.

The popular Jamaican reality series, Teacha's Pet will continue airing on local TV despite the show's centre piece, Vybz Kartel facing murder charges.
Following the withdrawal of sponsorship from Teacha's Pet by telecommunications outlet, LIME on Tuesday, speculation was rampant that CVM TV would no longer broadcast Kartel's reality show. A representative from CVM TV told IRIE FM that same day that Teacha's Pet would no longer be shown on the network as a result of Kartel's legal woes.
However, CVM TV's Programming Director, Ransford Ricketts confirmed on Friday that the network would continue to air episodes of Teacha's Pet for the foreseeable future. Ricketts explained in a radio interview that CVM TV was assessing the situation closely but never considered suspending or pulling the reality series from its airwaves. Following their assessment, along with strong demand from Kartel's fan base and fans of Teacha's Pet, Ricketts intimated that episodes of the reality show would continue to air as contractually obligated.

Is the recently re-ignited lyrical feud between Beenie Man and Bounty Killer a publicity stunt? Following a recent stage show featuring the two artistes, fans and observers have been left to wonder if that’s the case.
The two internationally acclaimed Dancehall entertainers shared the stage at Bounty Killer's Money Mondays event at Club Impulse in New Kingston on Monday night. This apparent show of unity follows recent exchanges of diss songs between Beenie Man and Bounty Killer. Despite making peace earlier this year, Beenie and Bounty's long-standing rivalry was once again at the fore following disparaging remarks the "War Lord" made about Beenie's divorce from fellow deejay, D'Angel. Beenie had claimed that D'Angel's decision to skip his birthday party and attend Bounty Killer's own was the final straw in his marriage to D'Angel while Bounty claimed that Angel was using Beenie for personal gain.
However, during the Money Mondays event, Bounty Killer and Beenie Man were together on stage; insisting that the lyrical war is friendly and that the two are cool with each other. Furthermore, the two revered deejays advised fans not to take the feud seriously despite the voracity displayed in the lyrics of the singles exchanged between the two.
A five-minute sex tape showing Tupac receiving oral sex while rapping and dancing has surfaced ... and TMZ has seen it.
The tape, shot in 1991, begins with a bunch of groupies in a living room during a house party. Tupac walks into the room with his pants down to his ankles, his shirt off ... sporting several chains.
Tupac -- whose head is shaved -- pulls one of the women toward him, and she begins performing oral sex. As she does her thing, an unreleased song of Tupac's is playing in the background, as Tupac is singing along and dancing, wiggling his hips.
And it gets even better. As the woman services Tupac, who is holding a cocktail in one hand and a blunt in another, Money B from Digital Underground walks over to him. Tupac puts his cocktail arm around Money B, continues singing and dancing ... and the woman never stops.
As the tape ends it appears he's ready to begin sexual intercourse. It's unclear if there's another tape.
We've learned the person in possession of the tape is making plans to release it.
One thing's for sure ... Tupac was a multi-tasker.

The long-standing rivalry in Dancehall music between legendary entertainers, Beenie Man and Bounty Killer continues to intensify following the release of Beenie’s new single, “Cah Puff Mi Chest.”
Both deejays have exchanged a plethora of sharp-shooting diss songs at each other over the last week; starting with Bounty Killer's counteraction to Beenie's "Nah Talk Too Long" entitled, "Who Tell Him Dweet." That song followed comments that Bounty Killer made regarding Beenie's divorce from his ex-girlfriend, D'Angel earlier this month; claiming D'Angel was using him for her own personal gain. Beenie responded this past Saturday with the single, "Da Idiot Song Deh," where took shots at both Bounty Killer and fellow adversary, Tony Matterhorn. The next day, Bounty counteracted that song with, "Run Inna War," suggesting that D'Angel didn't want any "pissy tail bwoy" and even took a jab at Vybz Kartel; calling him "Lady Gaga."
Beenie's new effort, "Cah Puff Mi Chest," was released on the War Monger Riddim; produced by Open Ear Records. In the chorus of "Cah Puff Mi Chest," Beenie deejays, "P***y yuh cyaah puff mi chest, yuh cyaah beat me, Bounty have an eating disorder; yuh freaky, Gyal use yuh tongue as red carpet weekly, yuh teeth dem soon drop out, yuh too greedy." Beenie later addresses Bounty's claims regarding his association with controversial actor, Keith "Shebada" Ramsey; claiming the "War Lord" would fill a full segment of Shebada's story while re-affirming his heterosexual status.

Prominent Dancehall deejay, Rodney “Bounty Killer” Price wasted no time in responding to Beenie Man's counteraction released this weekend entitled, "Da Idiot Song Deh."
The "War Lord" unveiled his own counteraction, "Run Inna War" on Sunday; unleashing his lyrical ammunition against Beenie Man. In the opening, Bounty says, "Angel she she nuh wan nuh pissy tail bwoy, run inna war mi nuh force yuh, call up mi name like a me mek di b***h divorce yuh," referring to Beenie's claims that Angel's appearance at Bounty's birthday party was the last straw that led to their recent divorce.
Additionally, Bounty Killer calls out fellow, long-time rival, Vybz Kartel along with well-renowned actor, Keith "Shebada" Ramsay. Bounty deejays, "Say Elephant sponsor me well dat irrelevant, Peter King sponsor yuh, say dat yuh elegant, inna di mansion have yuh a give him belly dance. He continued, "Just shut up Shebada come pon TV ah seh yuh buss up and yuh just tek it so silent and hush up, look like yuh and him a love up and touch up. The lyrical war involving legendary Dancehall deejays, Beenie Man and Bounty Killer has been turned up a notch following a stark counteraction issued by Beenie called, "Da Idiot Song Deh."
The new song is a direct response to Bounty Killer's most recent effort, "Who Tell Him Dweet," that said in part, "Mi nuh wah nutten fi kill him mi do dat fi free, by now Betweenie shoulda know how mi dweet, so any day again we buck again down a stage show, Him a dead around one a mi murder round three." Bounty's single came on the heels of comments he made regarding Beenie Man's recent divorce from D'Angel; claiming that D'Angel never loved him and was using him during their marriage. Beenie suggested that D'Angel’s decision to attend Bounty's birthday party and not his was the final straw in his marriage to the "Stronger” singjay.
In "Da Idiot Song Deh," Beenie calls out Bounty; suggesting that he's still upset over D'Angel, who was the "Grung Gaad's" ex-girlfriend prior to Beenie's marriage. The "King of Dancehall" deejays, "Bout pass back mi Hennessey, but who pan you? Yuh start drink dat when mi ex did a mad you, step up inna QUAD bout yuh nuh wan talk to Blue, yuh ugly like! Mi nuh wan no friend from you.” He continue by saying, "Yuh write inna STAR bout Angel rate you, call mi Betweenie but what to call you? Emerging Dancehall deejay, Felicia Gordon, more popularly known as Lisa Hyper has vehemently denied that an X-rated picture that went viral on the web is of her.
A picture of a woman with similar facial features as Lisa Hyper spread quickly via internet and BlackBerry on Thursday morning; prompting rumors of the former Portmore Empire protégé being involved in yet another sex scandal. The woman in the picture is apparently performing oral sex; resembling a pic released of Hyper two years ago in a similarly compromising position.
Upon hearing of the pic, Hyper immediately insisted that the girl in the pic wasn't her; claiming it's a deliberate scheme perpetrated by haters to damage her career. Via Blackberry Messenger, the "Roll Mi Waist" deejay intimated, "Stick a pin me a clear up one pic wid a ugly gal weh dem claim it's me..It is not me, mi pierce mi eye and mi pierce mi nose two times, plus mi have a heart tattoo over mi mouth pon the left side. It seems as if there will be no end to Dancehall legends, Bounty Killer and Beenie Man more than 15-year-long ongoing feud due to the release of Bounty's latest single.
On Saturday, the "Grung Gaad" unveiled his new single, "Who Tell Him Dweet," taking lyrical aim at Beenie Man; counteracting the "Doctor's" single released in April entitled "Nah Talk Too Long." In Beenie's song, he took a shot at Bounty Killer in the opening line; deejaying, "How Bounty fi seh mi cyaah call him name again? BOUNTY! BOUNTY! Mi call yuh name again."
Bounty offers a stark reply with "Who Tell Him Dweet," deejaying in the chorus, "A who tell Mi hear mi name, A who say Bounty? Nuh Beenie, Him tek di bait and now him haffi get defeat, Yuh shouldn't mess wid Warlord, Di Grung Gaad at every street." Bounty continues his lyrical assault by singing, "Mi nuh wah nutten fi kill him mi do dat fi free, by now Betweenie shoulda know how mi dweet, So any day again we buck again down a stage show, Him a dead around one a mi murder round three."
Embattled Dancehall superstar, Michelle "D'Angel" Downer was jeered and booed heavily in her first performance since the announcement of her divorce from Beenie Man nearly a month ago.
D'Angel, who's faced massive public scrutiny since the divorce was made public took the stage at Digicel's recent Summer To Di World stage show in Downtown Kingston and was immediately booed after she was announced by the show emcee, Ms. Kitty. Seemingly angered by the fan reaction, D'Angel asked, "Wah unnu a boo mi fah? Weh mi do unnu?..Unnu a boo mi fi mi talent?" D'Angel accused the fans of taking sides with Beenie Man; intimating that what goes around comes around and that they shouldn't be biased against her given that her marriage with the "Doctor" didn't work out.
The crowd continued to shout expletives and boo her; prompting D'Angel to walk off stage. However, the "Stronger" singer was convinced to return to the stage where she was better received; performing her popular collaboration with Beenie Man, "Time Of The Life," while insisting, "A neva me seh so, Him seh so." After the performance, D'Angel told ER that she will continue to perform and make public appearances; choosing to ignore the public bashing.

Legendary Dancehall entertainer, Rodney Price, more popularly known as Bounty Killer has shared his feelings publicly regarding the recent announcement that former rival, Beenie Man and ex-girlfriend, D'Angel are seeking a divorce.
News broke three weeks ago of a divorce when Beenie Man clarified on TVJ's Entertainment Report that D'Angel sent divorce papers; insisting that the two had not spoken for weeks and that they could no longer co-exist as a couple. One of the breaking points within the marriage was when D'Angel did not appear at Beenie's birthday party despite turning up at ex-boyfriend, Bounty Killer's birthday party earlier in the summer. "Regardless a if mi and her have a divorce agreement to deal wid, I tink she shudda still come a my birthday because mi is her husband and me is Marco Dean father, so why should you call me and tell me pon my phone seh yuh a go to Bounty Killer birthday party, when Bounty Killer disrespect you so much in the media & call yuh di worst tings," Beenie intimated during an interview with TVJ's EMix that aired September 3rd.

Prominent Dancehall couple, Moses "Beenie Man" Davis and Michelle "D'Angel Downer continue to offer their best explanations to the public; revealing more details as to why their marriage of five years has finally reached its conclusion.
In separate interviews to Winford Williams on CVM's OnStage that aired Saturday night, both deejays told their sides of the story that continues to play out through the media. First up was Beenie who claimed that he was the first person to issue divorce and not D'Angel; explaining that the "Blaze" songstress avoided the papers he sent before he received hers hours later. The "Doctor” also insisted that he was putting out maximum effort as he tried to repair their marriage on several occasions. "Outta all di years, is me. Anytime yuh si me and D’Angel back together, is me. But is always fi di ute. It no mek no sense, yuh a work so hard and yuh nuh happy," Beenie intimated.
In addition to their emotional problems, Beenie suggested that there was a lack of physical intimacy at times within the marriage; causing the connection to be lost. Regardless, the self-proclaimed "King of the Dancehall" maintained that despite his attempts to make his wife happy, she wasn't. "There's no acceptance of what you have done, everything you have done is nothing. So it nah go mek no sense if you try fi do everything fi please a person & that person is not pleased," Beenie said.
Responding to Beenie's claims, D'Angel gave an emotional interview; vividly stressed out by the way their divorce has been dissected in the public. The "Stronger" singjay expressed that she and Beenie had constant issues communicating. "I actually came to my breaking point where there was too much confusion. We're not seeing things eye to eye…We can't have a discussion without an argument, we don't have the same dreams, we don't have the same beliefs. All that take a toll on me so I finally reached my breaking point," D'Angel explained. Furthermore, the songstress has no regrets about the marriage but implied that if she could start over, she would have tried to get to know Beenie before they wed in 2006.

Prominent Dancehall deejay, Michelle Downer aka D'Angel gave her first television interview since the announcement of her highly publicized divorce from her husband of five years, Moses "Beenie Man" Davis.
Speaking to Anthony Miller on TVJ's Entertainment Report last night, an emotional D'Angel offered an in-depth explanation as to why she decided to put an end to her relationship with the "King of Dancehall." D'Angel insisted that she finally reached her breaking point; explaining that the couple's inability to express their issues was the roots of the marriage's downfall. "I had a husband I couldn't communicate with; we couldn’t share our thoughts," D'Angel implied.
D'Angel also elaborated that there was a lack of trust that continually developed within the marriage; explaining that the two weren't even living together whilst claiming that Beenie Man owned a "bachelor pad" while the two were together. Given their constant arguments as well as the public embarrassment that she suffered, she believed that it was finally time to pull the plug on their marriage. "I called Moses and I said, you know what, nothing's happening, no growth…I made provisions to file for a divorce," D'Angel said.

Controversial selector turned deejay, Dufton Taylor, more popularly known as Tony Matterhorn has fired lyrical shots once again at some of Dancehall's best with his latest single, "Dancehall Duppy 3 - Porky's Revenge."
The trilogy of Matterhorn's Dancehall Duppy singles takes direct aim at legendary Dancehall artiste, Beenie Man and prominent comedic duo, Twin of Twins; responding to recent diss songs the artistes made about him. On one lyric of the DJ Smurf produced song, Matterhorn refers to Beenie Man as the "Queen Of The Dancehall," before adding, "When Shebada use him head and empty yuh like a bokkle." Additionally he makes comments relating to Beenie Man and D'Angel's pending divorce.
Meanwhile, Matterhorn launches a scathing lyrical attack on his biggest rival, the Twins saying amongst other things, "Google it Gay inna dem last name." The "Fluffy Summer" singer also takes shots at emerging singjay Khago; calling him a "Hairdresser caught in a compromising position."
Porky's Revenge is the reply to Beenie Man's recent single, "Young Bud" on the Notnice/Corey Todd Records produced Takeover Riddim where the "Go Go Club" singer makes disparaging remarks about Matterhorn. Twin of Twins also released another Matterhorn diss song, "Fraid Like a Puss," on DJ Smurf's 12 to 12 Riddim while Matterhorn was away in Europe; following up other diss tracks aimed at the disc jock such as "Cigarette Murder: and "A Song Dat.
Internationally acclaimed Dancehall artiste, Moses "Beenie Man" Davis has gone into greater detail regarding his separation from his wife of 5 years, Michelle "D'Angel" Downer; implying that he is heartbroken by their recent marital issues.
Beenie Man told TVJ's EMix that he initially intended to divorce D'Angel last year but the couple constantly resolved their issues and ended up back together. However, the "King of the Dancehall" intimated that D'Angel's decision not to appear at his birthday party almost two weeks ago was the last straw; made worse by the fact D'Angel went to former rival, Bounty Killer's birthday party earlier this summer.
"Regardless a if mi and her have a divorce agreement to deal wid, I think she shudda still come a my birthday because mi is her husband and me is Marco Dean father, so why should you call me and tell me pon my phone seh yuh a go to Bounty Killer birthday party, when Bounty Killer disrespect you so much in the media and call yuh di worst tings,” Beenie said. Bounty Killer, formerly was in a relationship with D'Angel, engaged in a lyrical battle with Beenie Man regarding the "Blaze" singer in 2006.
Given that factor, Beenie suggested that he could no longer take the emotional toll their issues had on him; asking D'Angel to send the divorce papers that would finally put an end to their rollercoaster marriage. "Mi jus' decide seh, Please mi a beg yuh, jus’ finish mi heartache and mi hurt, just please mi a beg yuh, jus’ sen di divorce papers," Beenie stated. D'Angel sent the divorce papers two days later and released a statement clarifying that she sent them and that they could no longer co-exist as a couple.
Kiprich wants lyrical clash
By Marc Parc
Dancehall artiste, Marlon Plunkett, better known as Kiprich is in a war mode, lyrically that is as he is ready to enter a lyrical confrontation. However, the decision of which artiste he'll face will be left to his fans.
Kiprich has already released a slew of controversial songs in the last few months; most notably "Talk" in which he calls out a number of Dancehall heavyweights such as mentor, Elephant Man, Beenie Man and Vybz Kartel. Kiprich has long sought after a clash with Vybz Kartel in the minds of several Dancehall observers, dating back to him counteraction to "Di Teacha's "Cake Soap" single entitled "Cyaah Get Brown" last fall.
Entering the "Dark season" in Dancehall, Kiprich says he will enter a lyrical clash if his fans call for it; insisting that he will do so if he feels that sort of vibe from them but will only clash a reputable name. Additionally, the "We Nuh Fraid" deejay says he will survey his competition before fans decide later this fall that he should face at STING 2011 in Portmore.
For the pass few weeks there has been an ongoing feud within the Gulliance…whereas the Gully Squad members are pissed with Bounty Killer over the death of Mavado's close friend Conroy Edwards aka Connie.
However, recently Chass Cross released a song dissing Bounty Killer, but what's even more surprising is when Bounty Killer answered back Chass Cross with a song titled Waste Cross. Many seems to not agree with Bounty Killer for replying to Chass Cross… Below are the views of the Public concerning the matter.
Davian Ricketts, Age:23
Bounty Killer a mi general and if him really voice a counteraction directing at Chass Cross then mi nuh rate him fi dat it better him did guh ansa back Beenie Man’s song weh titled Mi Call Yuh Name Again.
Raquel Fondler, Age: 27
Right now Bounty Killer answering Chass Cross has just made Chass Cross officially an artiste because nuh body never rates Chass but a guess if Bounty Killer can find the time out fi reply to Chass Cross then I guess Chass is of some substance.
Stitchie, Age: 31
First thing I have listened the songs and Bounty Killer seems to be on the losing side in terms of lyrical content and when Bounty Killer as a veteran counteracts a young artiste like Chass Cross and yuh nah loss him or waste him then don’t even bother lower your standard to his level. Then again Bounty Killer is known for bussing artiste and right now him just buss Chass Cross big time.
Lando Sullivan, Age: 20
A Gaza mi seh straight because when Kartel cut left Allaince them seh him ungrateful but a guess we all know the reason why Vybz Kartel left because Bounty seems to forget that even though yuh might introduce di yutes dem to di dancehall that doesn’t mean seh yuh mustn’t have respect for them. Once an artiste starts to become his own a man you cant treat dem like likkle bwoy. In life Bounty sometimes yuh affi know when fi run.

Prominent Dancehall deejay, Michelle "D'Angel" Downer has finally spoken about her impending divorce from her husband of 5 years and fellow, well-renowned deejay Moses "Beenie Man" Davis.
On Friday, Beenie Man told TVJ's Entertainment Report that divorce papers have indeed been sent out but could not confirm if they had been signed. Additionally, Beenie said he was told by D'Angel to come out of her life; suggesting that both parties could no longer co-exist.
On Monday, D'Angel broke her silence about the recent marital issues between herself and the "King of the Dancehall," telling IRIE FM that after serious consideration, she has decided to separate from Beenie Man and move on with her life, though she didn't elaborate as to what exactly caused the rift between them.
However, D'Angel insisted that despite the personal issues the two artistes have with one another, the two will try to co-exist in the best interest of their five year old son, Marco Dean as they aim to provide stable environment for him to grow in. Beenie previously stated that D'Angel will likely have custody of their son due to his busy schedule but will remain a very active part of Marco Dean's life going forward.

Well-renowned Dancehall power couple, Moses "Beenie Man" Davis and Michelle "D'Angel" Downer seem to be heading their separate ways after Beenie revealed on TVJ's Entertainment Report this past weekend that divorce papers have indeed been sent out and that the two are separating.
The couple's marriage has endured various trials and tribulations and endless speculation regarding possible infidelity by both parties amongst other rumors. Beenie and D'Angel previously separated in 2007 but reconciled shortly thereafter and all seemed normal within the Davis household. However, the "King of the Dancehall" now insists that their most recent break-up could be permanent. "Yeah, divorce papers send, mi nuh kno if it sign.” Additionally, he claimed that D'Angel told him to disappear from her life and intimated that the two haven't spoken within the last two weeks. "Divorce a divorce man, that how it goes man, you move on. In life, you have to adapt and adjust, when yuh adjust in life, yuh haffi jus move on, yuh a big man," he intimated.
For years there has been a debate over whether or not these nowadays gospel artists are sounding too much like secular ones. For some reason, this debate has intensified recently as Bonitto Hassock releases a Dennis Brown cover track, "Without Your Love", and Ryan Mark locks his hair.
Some persons within the gospel community are of the belief that what today's gospel artists do and how they do it is irrelevant as long as they win souls for Christ. While others think that it is imperative that they uphold the tradition, sound and style laid out by gospel artists of yesterday.
In speaking with Bonitto Hassock, he said he enjoys redoing older songs whether they are lover’s rock or soul music. And regardless what the public has to say he plans on releasing more cover tracks. That being said, he was very clear about his love for Christ and his desire to sing gospel, he just does not plan to limit himself.

Dancehall artiste Beenie Man who was billed to perform alongside comedian Shebada and Delcita at the highly anticipated Two For One Concert has made it clear that he will no longer be apart of the project that's scheduled to take place this weekend.
Beenie Man shy away from the event after learning that it’s a possibility he might be going up against Shebada on stage.
However according to the promoter Bunny Allen, Beenie Man alone cannot decide weather or not he will be part of the show…Mr Allen's final speech was Beenie Man will definitely be performing at the 2 for 1 stage show.
Shebada went back on the attack against Beenie Man during a TV interview on CVM at Sun Rise declaring, "mi ago dun Beenie Man a 2 for 1…mi ago finish Beenie…mi ago empty Beenie Man like a wata bottle and clean him like a fridge."
Rihanna has apparently rekindled her relationship with her first boyfriend Negus Sealy after the pair were seen dancing together at a festival back in Barbados.
The 23-year-old singer is said to have become inseparable from her first love Sealy, nicknamed the 'Love God' by local ladies, since arriving back in her home country 12 days ago.
The pair first dated back in 2006, before Rihanna made her name in the music industry, and are said to have given things another go in 2009 when the Rated R singer was rebounding from her violet relationship with Chris Brown.
A source told The Sun: 'Negus has hardly left her side. He was her first true love. The ladies here all love him - they call him the Love God.
'They've hooked up in the past when she's been back in Barbados but now things have progressed into a proper relationship again.'
Rihanna and Sealy were photographed dirty dancing together at a festival to celebrate Kadooment Day earlier this week.
A partygoer told the newspaper: 'They were all over each other and their dancing got very hot and heavy.'
Rihanna flew back to her home country earlier this week, ahead of her Loud Concert tour date in Bridgetown on Friday, when her role as the official ambassador for Barbados will officially begin.
And the singer seems to be enjoying herself, tweeting fans: 'My home, my country, my people....BARBADOS!!!

The ongoing feud between the popular Dancehall comedic duo, Twin of Twins & renowned selector turned deejay; Tony Matterhorn has heated up after a recent exchange of diss songs between the two parties.
The Twins, Paul & Patrick Gaynor launched a sharpshooting lyrical attack on Matterhorn; releasing a preview of their newest single, "Cigarette Murder," on Tuesday. The song uses Matterhorn's name in cheeky wordplay to disrespect him. One line in the song says, "Badness is a car? It bruk dung? Suh wah mek Matterhorn a push it?" while another lyric claims, "Yuh expose yuself wid di name wey yu find, cause Matterhorn a mountain wey bare man a climb."
"Cigarette Murder" was issued as a response to recent comments Matterhorn made about them when the "Dutty Wine" singer claimed that he would diss the Twins anywhere he saw them after they alleged that he refused to play their songs. One of the Twins, Patrick "Curly Lox" Gaynor implied that Matterhorn crossed the line with his recent comments. "Matterhorn is the one that started the disrespect. He just became disrespectful and stupid," Gaynor suggested. Furthermore, the Twins claimed in the song that they were the originators of calling up artistes' names in songs long before Tony Matterhorn & intimated that Tony Matterhorn's new single, "Dancehall Duppy" was inspired by the Twins' work. Furthermore, they called the "Fluffy Summer" deejay a hypocrite for calling out artistes in "Dancehall Duppy" and later shouting them out near the song's conclusion; suggesting that Matterhorn was a coward.
Upon hearing of the Twins' scathing attack in "Cigarette Murder," Matterhorn quickly issued a counteraction entitled "The Sin of Twins," which was released on Wednesday. The song opens with a sample of the Twins' popular saying "My Godddd" before launching an all-out attack; including lyrics saying, "Twins go blame unnu parents, it doe look fine, how much months u spend inna di womb..bout 9? At some point, one of you was behind, at some point..one did a 6 & one a 9."
DJ Kiprich is known for his no-holds-barred approach to deejaying where he uses witty one-liners and heavy doses of sarcasm to document the various going-ons with artistes in the local music industry.
His latest single, Talk, which makes fun of various entertainers is blowing up all over FM radio. A snippet of the hard-hitting lyrics go: the Teacha go circle the Embassy/and say, wait, oonu nuh memba mi/look how mi change all mi colour fi please oonu till all people say Russian fava me.
"Well, the response to the song has been incredible, when mi deejay it anywhere, a just crazy forward, the other day, mi do it for Laing stage show inna Belfield and the girl dem beat down the stage continuously, people love it, everybody have dem favourite part, whether is the Beenie part, Kartel part or the Energy God part, the song just ah go hard, it have a little ting fi everybody," he said in a release.
Kiprich performed at a community stage show in Belfield, St. Mary over the weekend, and over the Independence weekend, he is booked for three shows, one in Westmoreland, the popular HYPE 2K11 show in St. Elizabeth and then he has a show in Old Harbour.

Veteran Dancehall entertainer & leader of the Alliance crew, Rodney “Bounty Killer” Price has confirmed that there’s indeed a growing tension between his camp & Mavado’s Gully camp.
Bounty Killer made the admission during an interview on IRIE FM yesterday; insisting that the new song released by “Gully Squad” member, Chase Cross entitled, “Mash Up Everything,” could potentially cause a rift within the “Gulliance” & has stirred up even more tension between the Gully & Alliance affiliates. The song allegedly calls out the “Grung Gaad,” and other Alliance members with some of the song’s lyrics seemingly referring to the aftermath following the incident involving Mavado & his entourage outside Killer’s birthday party at the QUAD nightclub last month. Chase’s manager later insisted that his song was speaking to his true feelings; alluding to perceived negative comment made by Alliance following his friend’s death.
Bounty commented during the interview that he felt disrespected & offended by Chase’s song; even more so because he knows that that Chase Cross couldn’t record such a song without an official seal of approval from the Gully Squad’s founder, Mavado. Reportedly, the “War Lord” is encouraging Mavado to break his silence & elaborate on the recent tension between the Gully & Alliance camps. Mavado has yet to publicly address the song or talk about the issues between the two crews.
Bankeylous recording artiste Khago has delivered a stinging rebuke of fellow deejay I Octane, saying that the two are no longer friends and that Octane has been using his power and influence to destroy his career by badmouthing him to producers and cutting his earning potential with promoters by refusing to do shows with him.
"I Octane needs to stop telling people say me and him good, mi and him no good. Him need fi stop tell people say me and him friend. Mi put in nuff work wid him, from him first song, mi have Caan Cool at #3 on the chart, mi ask him fi call mi out so people can know me cause ah mi and him used to par, mi sing background vocals fi him, mi used to cook at Octane yard, and when him find out say mi talented like him, him no waan nobody know me, him just want me to be a background singer," he said in a press release.
"But mi have three yute, so mi caan mek my ting waste, mi work fi not even a dolla fi him and when a my time fi get my go, him stop deal wid me. Three years him no talk to me after mi sing the last background vocals for him at Beenie Sizzle just because mi ask him fi help me. Yu can ask producer Crush bout it, and then three years after him stop tek mi phone call...then mi guh find Nah Sell Out, him run back say him waan do combination and management say mi nuffi do it. When mi and him a roll, mi used to teach people how fi do sister locks, him do song say "no man caan ramp wid mi like how dem play wid dem catty, no man caan put dem hand inna mi natty" because him know mi used to teach people how fi do sister locks and mi no ansa him. Him see mi over Portmore and say him like the low profile rims pon mi car. Him invite me over him yard and the following week, somebody send me a link pon mi Facebook page say 'Octane do Khago diss' and when mi click it, ah the song: "Mi no go ah mi bed fi dream bout bwoy, dem sell out fi low profile rims....". So him ah diss me under psyches all this time."
Over the pass few days it has been stink in the streets that the Alliance leader Bounty Killer and the Gully Squad leader Mavado are at odds.
According to a source Mavado seems to be upset with Bounty Killer about the incident that took place at Killer's birthnight bash which resulted into Mavado's right hand man being murdered that night.
However what was just a rumor is now slowly becoming a reality as Mavado's cousin better known as Chass Cross recently released a song that takes several blows at the Alliance General. In the song Chass Cross argues, "hey you over deh so with yuh long mouth…yuh better watch the words come out yuh long mouth...caan mek nuh gangsta walk dem agency nuh solid a bomboclaat."

Popular Dancehall selector turned deejay, Tony Matterhorn is at odd renowned Dancehall comedic duo, Twin of Twins regarding comments the Twins made during an interview last Wednesday.
The Twins, Paul & Patrick Gaynor gave an interview for an Atlanta based radio station; calling Matterhorn out for the fact that the Bass Odyssey sound selector chooses not to play their songs. "Yuh have nuff artistes weh seh dem nah do show weh wi deh pon. Matterhorn do it already and dem laugh wid mi when dem see wi and mi nuh hate Matterhorn. Mi nuh do Matterhorn nutten fi him nuh play mi song dem neither," one of the Twins intimated to ricovibes.com
The statement infuriated Matterhorn; prompting him the following day to blast the Twins via Twitter. "How y'all never told me Twin of Twins was dissing me today on a radio station in Atl! Now I have to diss those 2 ... it's on ... Those ... twins! DUMB and DUMBER ... it looks like Dancehall Duppy 3 is gonna be here sooner than I think! Lol," Matterhorn tweeted.
Matterhorn then told the Jamaica STAR he believes they're using his name for publicity & doesn't understand why the Twins would even think he's biased against them. Furthermore, the "Fluffy Summer" singer boasted, "Twin of Twins, mi will crush unuh 'cause mi nuh trouble people unless dem trouble mi. Anyweh mi see unuh mi aguh diss unuh."
Beyonce Knowles "can't wait" to start a family.
The 29-year-old singer - who has previously hinted she would like to have children with husband Jay-Z in the near future - will be a "natural" mother, according to her sister Solange, who has six-year-old son Daniel.
Solange said: "She will be a great mother, a natural. She will love to start a family. I can't wait, they will be beautiful."
However, while waiting to become a mother of her own, 25-year-old Solange admits Beyonce has a great time as an auntie to her child.
She added to the Daily Mirror: "Beyonce adores my little boy. She takes him everywhere. We were in Europe a couple of months ago and he loved being with his auntie."
Meanwhile the Best Thing I Never Had hitmaker - who is currently in the UK on a promotional tour of her new album 4 - is said to have become obsessed with British TV shows, in particular the BBC London-based soap EastEnders.
A source said: "Beyonce finds the accents on EastEnders really funny. She spends half the time mimicking what they're saying in her fake British accent."

Rihanna and Drake both have a hot R&B edge, and both use their catchy middle names as stage names. After on-and-off hookup rumors that date back to '09, we've all been waiting for confirmation that they're the entertainment industry's new item...and today there's new evidence that they are, in fact, making some sweet, sweet music together.
Back in 2009 after her split from Chris Brown, rumors surfaced to hint that Rihanna had had enough of healing her wounds and was getting down with Drake. The buzz was brief, however, because the Barbadan beauty quelched rumors by saying, "I definitely was attracted to Drake, but ... we didn't want to take it any further." The singer, 23, added, "It was at a really fragile time in my life, so I just didn't want to get too serious with anything or anyone at that time."
But last week, nearly two and a half years after her split from bully-boyfriend Chris Brown, Rihanna admitted that she's totally back in the dating game...and having fun being a player. "Men are like hunters; they like the chase," she told Cosmo UK. "So you have to keep 'em guessing. Actually, I'm like that too. I get bored quickly."
Resurgent deejay Ryno since exiting the Portmore Empire has come under immense pressure from various sects in an attempt to oust him from the industry.
Leading the charge is Ryno's former protege Popcaan and then mentor Vybz Kartel, both of whom have failed in their quest to silence the deejay despite a plethora of diss tracks and verbal insults.
However, it appears the Garrison recording artiste refusal to yield has spawn into a recording session that sees him venting his frustration in a new track titled "Walk and Talk". Based on lyrical content the song appears to be aimed at addressing the infamous 'sell out accusation" leveled against him by the Gaza outfit.
In the track, Ryno also takes a series of swipes at both Vybz Kartel and Popcaan with the lines:
"bwoy yuh lucky mi nuh deh bout
since yuh skull hot den step out...
badman neva neva sell out..
and anyweh mi see yuh is a shell out..
poppi yuh badness green like banana..
bet yuh stamma-a when yuh see the bomma-a

'U can't hide your kids from society, or they'll never learn how to adapt!' singer tweets.
By Gil Kaufman
A day after the Parents Television Council and other groups decried the violent murder scene in her new "Man Down" video, Rihanna took to the air and to Twitter to defend her clip from detractors.
"I'm a 23 year old rock star with NO KIDS! What's up with everybody wantin me to be a parent? I'm just a girl, I can only be your/our voice!" she wrote on Thursday. "Cuz we all know how difficult/embarrassing it is to communicate touchy subject matters to anyone especially our parents! And this is why! ... Cuz we turn the other cheek! U can't hide your kids from society, or they'll never learn how to adapt! This is the REAL WORLD! ... The music industry isn't exactly Parents R Us! We have the freedom to make art, LET US! It's your job to make sure they don't turn out like US."
The PTC took issue with the opening scene in the video, in which Rihanna is shown shooting an unarmed man in the back of the head in the middle of a crowded train station. Viewers later learn that the act was in retaliation for a previous sexual assault.
The PTC, the Enough Is Enough campaign and the entertainment think tank Industry Ears released a statement on Wednesday condemning the video for what the group said was an apparent enticement to young women to turn to violence.
" 'Man Down' is an inexcusable, shock-only, shoot-and-kill theme song," said Industry Ears co-founder Paul Porter.
The PTC lamented that Rihanna had a "golden opportunity" to use her celebrity status to send an important message to young girls and victims of rape and domestic violence with the clip, but had missed the mark. "Instead of telling victims they should seek help, Rihanna released a music video that gives retaliation in the form of premeditated murder the imprimatur of acceptability," said the PTC's Melissa Henson.
The singer later pleaded with her fans to stop making threats against members of the PTC, writing, "We love it, they don't ... that is all, and the world keeps turning."
She also called in to the BET show "106 & Park" on Thursday night to defend the clip, saying she didn't set out to spark any controversy, but isn't surprised she did.
"Rape is, unfortunately, happening all over the world and in our own homes, and we continue to cover it up and pretend it doesn't happen," Rihanna said. "Boys and girls feel compelled to be embarrassed about it and hide it from everyone, including their teachers, their parents and their friends. That only continues to empower the abusers."

Rihanna who recently came to Jamaica to shoot the video for her reggae hit single Man Down painted a distasteful picture of Jamaica said locals. In the video Rihanna went to club where she flirts with a guy while dancing with him… the guy however started to get too personal so Rihanna pushed him away, he then followed her after she left the club and raped her. Rihanna then ran home for her gun and gunned down her alleged rapist in the middle of the street.
Since the released of the Man Down, OutAroad.com has received multiple emails from dancehall/reggae lovers stating their anger against the video. As usual we went into the street to hear what others have to say about Rihanna's Man Down video.
"It's nice for her to shoot the video in Jamaica but I am not going to agree with the outcome of the story line. With a story line like that she should have went back to her home town with that because at the end of the day Jamaicans are already listed as bad people in the minds of many in international countries," said Carol Harris (Vendor).
Almost everyone that we interviewed disagreed with the content of the video especially Nigel Simmons who stated that Rihanna is not the only one as Drake came to Jamaica and did the same thing.
"All these people seems to be fascinated about is the bad image that they have created in their head about Jamaica. What Rihanna done was even more degrading, so I guess when a tourist wants to get rape all they have to do is book a flight to Jamaica. I can remember watching the news and when the broadcaster read that Rihanna was in Jamaica for a video shoot I was excited believing that this would have been a good look for Jamaica.
Recently Vybz Kartel and his business partner Corey Todd part ways because of personal differences between the two...However, the latest Gaza member to quit is dancehall singjay Jahvinci. In a statement sent to various media outlets Portmore Empire singer stated that it's not his intention to re-sign a booking or recording contract with the Portmore Empire.

"I want the world to know that I am no longer managed by Vybz Kartel and the Portmore Empire..."In all honesty, it was a great learning experience but the BEST decision is for me to move on given the musical direction that the Empire has been moving in for quite some time. I appreciate the support that Vybz Kartel has given me as a mentor but at this stage in my career, I want to move in a different creative direction with my choice in management. I will now be managed by Corey Todd, and my road manager will be Milla 9."
"There were certain things going on in the Empire that I did not agree or condone but all that is in the past I am excited about the possibilities and I know that this is the start of a great journey in my career. I want to deliver my message of peace and unity to my reggae fans. I have to keep moving forward no matter the obstacles that stand in front of me," the statement said.
Recently the self proclaimed Dancehall Hero Vybz Kartel sent out a statement in which he addresses the gossip about his new hairstyle. However Vybz Kartel uses several other artistes as examples which states: .P.S. MAVADO, ELEPHANT MAN, MACHEL MONTANO (whose hair done by the same girl who did mine) I OCTANE T.O.K. ETC HAVE ALL HAD EXTENTION PUT IN. TALK BOUT THAT".
A few days ago I-Octane sent out a press release advising the public that he has never worn hair extensions. Bay C from TOK also responded saying, "To all who seem to be confused, TOK have NEVER worn extensions. To each his own, it's not for me to judge. Having said that let me make it clear....mi a RASTA!!! Lion of the tribe of Judah! DON'T confuse the mane of a LION with the tail of a HORSE!!! BOMBRUSH say that!!!
Rising superstar I-Octane has categorically denied ever putting extensions in his hair in the wake of statements made by fellow entertainer on Thursday.
"I can't control what another artiste chooses to say," I-Octane stated. "But I've been growing my locks for several years now and the people at Jus Natural in Portmore can vouch for that."
When prodded to respond about how he feels about the allegation, I-Octane made things very clear. "In this industry you come to expect that people will do and say anything. Is music mi a deal with and I won't allow anyone to shift my focus from that. As far as I'm concerned, it doesn't make sense for me to spend a lot of time thinking or even talking about this issue. Jah teach me that you empower what you focus on, and as mi seh, music is my focus. Nobody can draw me out or try to involve me inna mix up. Anyone who has been following my career can look at me through the years and see that my locks grow natural. Its not an overnight thing. As a matter of fact, people a suffer all over the world. Mek wi focus on dem type a tings."
In response to questions as to whether he would respond in a song, the singjay laughed. "No sah! Mi nuh haffi do nuttn. Memba dat in mi song mi seh Touch not the Lord's anointed. Mi nuh haffi do a ting."
The artiste is in Orlando, Fla. preparing for a show on Friday (May 13th). He will then be heading to England next week for two shows, one in Birmingham on Friday, May 20th and on Sunday, May 22nd in London, England. He is also one of the headliners for Best of The Best in Miami on Sunday, May 29th.
The most talked about Vybz Kartel topic recently on "wat a gwaan pon dat gwaan" which can be found on all major websites, Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and even dozens of blogs are pictures of Vybz Kartel latest hairstyle that he's sporting.
Below is a statement that was released by Vybz Kartel pertaining to his Hairstyle.
"FIRST OFF I’D LIKE TO SAY WHAT ALL THE FUSS ABOUT MY HAIR, AS WITH EVERY OTHER THING THAT I DO HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ANYTHING EXCEPT PLAIN OLD "BADMIND".BECAUSE WHEN I WAS INVOLVED IN THE NINJA MAN INCIDENT A FEW YEARS AGO , I HAD IN EXTENSIONS THEN, WHY DIDNT THE HULLABALOO COMMENCE THEN? …BECAUSE I WASN'T ON TOP SO THE HATING WASNT NECESSARY.WHEN I DID "NEVER LOVE ANOTHER GIRL" VIDEO IN 2005 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GPl_P_vdhdk, MY HAIR WAS PERMED, WHY DIDNT THE INQUISITION COMMENCE? BECAUSE I WASN'T ON TOP SO THE HATING WASNT NECESSARY...WHAT IM SAYING IS THAT WHEN UR ON TOP, PEOPLE FIND ALL KINDS OF FAULTS AND FLAWS TO POINT OUT IN THEIR QUEST TO TEAR YOU DOWN BUT GUESS WHAT? I COUDN’T CARE LESS WHAT PEOPLE SAY OR THINK ABOUT KARTEL BECAUSE IF EVERYONE LOVES YOU, UR AN OBVIOUS "KISS A*S"

Vybz Kartel latest single titled Nuh More Than Mi has been described by many as an answer back for Shabba's None A Dem on Steven Di Genius' Pepper Riddim.

Things have been relatively quiet between Nicki Minaj and Lil' Kim for the past few weeks, but the latest flare-up took place on Twitter, Monday night (May 2).
Kim fired off a series of angry messages at Minaj in reply to a tweet from the Young Money rapper that reportedly read, "Lil Kim U Next." A look at Nicki's Twitter timeline will show no evidence of the tweet now, but it angered Kim enough to send her into a rage.
After asking fans to help with choosing a name for her new dog, she took aim at Minaj after followers suggested she name the pup after her rival.
"I would never name her "S---ty Garbaj"!!! My dog is way prettier than that b----!!!," she wrote. "What type of coward lame a-b---- tweets some s--- and then deletes it. REAL b-----s stand by what they say BOZO..."

Right now mi nuh mad bout it but mi Rrrrrrrrrr…Right now mi nuh ignorant bout it but mi Rrrrrrrrr!!! An angry Shabba Rankin chants in his latest release titled None A Dem produced by Di Genius on the popular Pepper Riddim.
Since the release of Shabba's None A Dem many dancehall followers believe it's a straightforward hit on Vybz Kartel. According to several youtubers Vybz Kartel's controversial single Dancehall Hero might be the reason why Shabba is "Rrrrrrrrrrrr" about it.
"How can you not rate who come before yuh…yuh a gwaan like yuh come bout yah come mek music big…dem and those who suppose to respect the elders but they don't…and a gwaam like a you a di man…a nuh you a di man a god a di man".… Shabba then further went on to question, "Stop dah one deh and ask him if him nuh imitate the great Shabba Rankin.

Reggae superstar Sean Paul won't be feuding with Jay-Z, at least for now.
Paul is denying reports that he has plans to release a book detailing an alleged relationship with Hov's wife, R&B singer Beyoncé. The book -- a chronicle of his life growing up in middle-class Jamaica -- is rumored to expose the tryst that occurred while the 'I Am... Sasha Fierce' creator was taking a break from her relationship with Jay.
News about the book surfaced on the Internet earlier this week and the Grammy Award-winning reggae singer took to Twitter to refute the claims.
"RRR!!! THIS IS THE TWEETINATOR!!! RRR!!! SP SAY HE DON'T WRITE BOOKS. HE
WRITE SONGS!!! RRR!!! [sic]" he wrote.
A rep for Sean Paul also told Radar Online the rumors were not true. "The reports are completely false," the rep said. "Sean is not working on a book and has never had anything more than a working relationship with Beyoncé."
The business relationship the rep speaks of occurred in 2003, when the two collaborated on the Destiny's Child frontwoman's hit song 'Baby Boy.'
Sean Paul's last album, 'Imperial Blaze,' was released in 2009. He is set to headline the UCLA JazzReggae Destival, alongside Lupe Fiasco, on May 30.
Recently Bounty Killer voiced a track on the Boardhouse label titled Ready Fi Dem in which he warns "If Di One Beenie Eva Call Mi Name Again Yuh Si…Mi Left Dem Inna Problem Yuh Si".
However, after a few weeks Beenie Man hit back at Bounty Killer with No Talk Too Long produced by Seanizzle. Beenie Man also spits a few lines aimed at Vybz Kartel.
"You know dem fraid mi…me bun satan, 'bafament' and Lucifer then put a fire pon all devil worshiper, Bounty so wah you a call me name so fah.

The people over at MediaTakeOut shovel so much manure they were probably gardeners before getting into the gossip biz. The latest heap of bull their pushing is an outlandish rumor that dancehall performer Sean Paul is preparing to release a tell-all book that will detail his alleged fling with Beyonce.
"Word is that Sean Paul dated Beyonce during a time when Jay-Z and Beyonce were on the outs," the site reports.
An insider explains, "Jay-Z was very jealous ... to this day he has a problem with [Sean Paul]."
"And get this ... Sean is planning on telling everything!!! He'll graphically talk about every nook and cranny of his relationship with Bey," MTO adds.
RumorFix spoke with a rep for Sean Paul who not only says their client isn't writing any silly book, but also that the Sean never dated Beyonce. "These reports are completely false. Sean is not working on a book and has never had anything more than a working relationship with Beyonce."
Back to garden MTO, we need some tomatoes for our salsa.
The R&B singer confesses to being a sexual masochist, something she is not proud of but believes to be the result of abuse she received as a child.
R&B pop sensation Rihanna will fill the front page of the next edition of Rolling Stone magazine, within whose pages she makes some revealing confessions about her sex-life: "I live feeling like I'm somebody's girl," says the singer.
In a totally spontaneous and honest way, Rihanna opens up to the publication about her most intimate secrets: "I love to be tied up and spanked," she reveals.
"Using whips and chains is too planned... you have to stop and look for the whip. I prefer them to use their hands," she adds.
During the interview the singer also says she has to make so many decisions on a daily basis, that in her private life she likes to feel like someone else is in charge. She also declares herself a masochist, something she confesses to not being very proud of, but which she attributes to the abuse she suffered as a child.
Rihanna tells Rolling Stoneshe was just nine years old the first time she saw her father smoke crack: "I was always terrified on Friday because he could come home drunk. That was payday, and half of it went on alcohol," says the artist.
Unbelievable as it may seem, Rihanna says she lives on a diet of chips, cheetohs and KFC, though she is fully aware of the damage this could have: "your tits and ass are the first to go".
Rihanna is reportedly considering moving in with new love Colin Farrell, according to sources.
The pop superstar and Hollywood icon have been romantically linked for the past two months. Rihanna met Colin when they both appeared on a British talk show in December. The pair hit it off straight away and decided to swap cell phone numbers.
Now, insiders have extended on these rumours, suggesting the union is increasing in intensity.
"Rihanna's told friends she's so in love with Colin that she's thinking about moving in with him. They've already said 'I love you' to each other, and Colin asked her last week if she'd like to live with him. Rihanna seems really keen," the source told more! magazine.
Rihanna split from baseball star Matt Kemp towards the end of the year, with her hectic schedule thought to be part of the reason for the breakup. It is thought the Barbadian's busy life is occasionally proving a stumbling block in her new relationship, meaning the blossoming romance sometimes falters.
"Rihanna's got a crazy work schedule, so seeing him has been tricky. But she seems to really like Colin, so she flew for four hours just to have dinner with him. Rihanna says it was totally worth it to see Colin - she just can't get enough of him," they added.

Chris Brown's morning-show meltdown isn't doing his reputation any favors. But could it possibly impact his freedom? Or his comeback efforts?
Brown is, after all, still on probation for his attack on Rihanna. How would his trashing of the Good Morning America dressing room affect that? And ABC has been hyping his appearance on next week's Dancing With the Stars-has he now been uninvited after his outburst?
We did some digging and here's what we learned.
MORE: Chris had troubling incidents before Rihanna
First off, the facts: Brown didn't take to kindly to being peppered with questions about his assault on Rihanna. After he wrapped his interview with Robin Roberts, he stormed back to his dressing room and smashed a window, raining glass over 43rd Street near Times Square.
Sources told E! News that plainclothes detectives did visit the scene after seeing reports on the broken glass in the media. However, the official line from the NYPD is that officers were not called, no police report has been filed and no charges are forthcoming.
Dancehall superstar Vybz Kartel, who has created a firestorm of controversy with his changing complexion, gives his skin an even brighter and more colorful look in the video for his latest single "Coloring Book (Tattoo Time Come)." Filmed at popular Jamaican tattoo artist Philip "Tattoo Phillip" Shaw's studio, "Coloring Book" explores Kartel's obsession with skin art.

Boasting well over 20 tattoos on his arms, chest, neck, face, and hands, Kartel spits his usual lyrical freestyle fire while actually getting yet another tattoo in "Coloring Book." Gyal a tek picture of me body/me can't tell de gyal seh no/ Me hand dem favor works weh done by Michelangelo, Kartel raps in "Coloring Book," also mentioning that he will soon surpass American rapper Lil Wayne in terms of number of tattoos.
In the four days since its release, "Coloring Book" has racked up nearly 100,000 Youtube views.
"We were just on the ends (hanging out), and decided to do a performance shot, so I'm happy that the viewers have received the video so well" says video director Kirk Lee of RoadBlock! Films, who also worked with Kartel on the videos for "Jeans N Fitted," and "Dumper Truck/Neva Get a Girl."
"Coloring Book" is one of the lead singles off of the Empire Universe: Second Chapter album, which was released on iTunes and all digital outlets earlier this week.
Rihanna seems to be enjoying going down - under. The "S&M" singer was spotted in Australia on Thursday doing a little shopping at The Tool Shed, a popular sex shop in the heart of Sydney's gay district.
Moments before Rihanna emerged from the store with a devious grin on her face, a male assistant was spotted leaving with two black bags full of purchases.
Rihanna kept quiet about the contents of the bags but gave a smile as she left the huge store that sells everything from two-foot dildos to poles for pole dancing; the shop also carries S&M gear which seems rather appropriate.
A spokesman for the shop later said that the visit was arranged earlier in the day and they had to ensure no-one else was in the store during her visit. "I can't say what she did or what she bought, it's top secret," he added.
Rihanna's visit has fueled speculation that she will put in an appearance at the city's hugely popular gay and lesbian Mardi Gras festival.

Note to any aspiring haters out there: Rihanna is not one to be trifled with.
First, she flogged members of the media in her video for her current single "S&M," then she went all scorched-earth on censors in the U.K., who changed the title of that song to "Come On" without her knowledge and earned a fierce rebuke for their efforts. (Rihanna personally vowed to have the title changed back ... and, less than a week later, it was.)
And on Friday, she turned her wrath upon Ciara, after the singer dared dis RiRi during an appearance on E!'s "Fashion Police" with Joan Rivers.
"I ran into [Rihanna] recently at a party. She wasn't the nicest," Ciara told Rivers. "It's crazy, because I've always loved and respected what she's done in fashion. It wasn't the most pleasant run-in."
Of course, things were about to get a lot less pleasant. Soon after Ciara dared speak her name, Rihanna took to her Twitter account to strike back brand-new rival ... in less than 140 characters.
"My bad, Ci, did I forget to tip you," Rihanna wrote, including the hashtag #howrudeofme for extra spite.
Of course, that earned a response from Ciara, who wrote, "Trust me, Rihanna, you don't want to see me on or off the stage."
Rihanna replied first with a taunt ("U gangsta huh? Haaa" (link and then, after thinking about it for a minute, went for the jugular, making fun of Ciara's recent sales woes by writing, "Good luck with booking that stage you speak of."
Ciara tried to laugh off the slight, while Rihanna, perhaps feeling a twinge of remorse after vivisecting her latest foe, posted an apology: "Ciara baby, I love you girl! You hurt my feelings real bad on TV! I'm heartbroken! That's why I retaliated this way! So sorry!"
Ciara accepted RiRi's apology and suggested the two work out their problems "in person." Rihanna has yet to respond.
Rihanna's saucy new single S&M has been banned from Radio 1's playlist, and the video has been banned in 11 countries! Does it really need to be banned? Is it REALLY too sexy?
Just look at this.
If anything she's promoting healthy eating, and we all need to get our five a day don't we? Yes, yes we do. We're off down the grocers now to pick up a bunch of bananas. Thank you, Rihanna, for reminding us to be visions of health. NO SCURVY FOR US.
Oooh dear you seem to have got yourself into a bit of a pickle, Rihanna. Are you stuck? Your hair looks bangin'. That's not the point, we know, but maybe some kind of Brownie or outdoorsy type will be able to help you out of those complicated knots? Maybe we should learn how to undo such tricky rope-work too, in case we're ever in a similar situation. LET'S ALL GO TO GIRL GUIDES.

Rihanna fueled rumors she’s been hitching up with gal pal Nick Minaj Thursday night after she joked that she and her frequent collaborator were “sex partners.”
After leaving dinner with her friends, paparazzi surrounded the “What’s My Name” singer, asking her if they were really more than just friends.
“You’re not really roommates with Nicki Minaj are you?” he asked Rihanna.
“No. We’re just sex partners!” Rihanna joked.
Lesbian rumors between the musical duo seemed to start last month when Minaj said in an interview that Rihanna was the “best fondler ever.” Later, the pair were spotted being cute together as they sent messages back and forth on Twitter.
After Minaj had knocked Rihanna for misspelling her name, Rihanna quipped back: "B***h don't u hear me askin what my OWN name is??? Lol! My bad, I'll make it up to u wink (sic).”
Meanwhile, Minaj hit back at rumors yesterday when she appeared on the Ryan Seacrest morning show, labeling the rumors as “really insane” and “hilarious.”

Nicki Minaj has laughed off reports that she and Rihanna are living together.
The rapper told Ryan Seacrest's radio show, which airs weekday mornings on KIIS-FM, that some people didn't realise the pair were only joking when they had a Twitter conversation about sharing a home.
"We just shot the video for a song I have on the album called 'Fly'," she explained. "When I saw her I said, 'So, do you hear we're living together?' We started cracking up laughing. She was like, 'I can't believe people are this ridiculous!'"
The Pink Friday star went on to say that the "random rumour" prompted the singers to post a joke message online about their "new crib" earlier this week.
"The funny thing is some people still didn't realise we were joking," she continued. "People were like, 'Oh my God, you're so lucky! You and Rihanna living together!' You can't even be sarcastic anymore, it's hilarious!"
However, she admitted that there was always a "possibility" of the duo becoming housemates in the future. "She is a badass," she added. "You never know!"
Minaj previously described 'Fly' - which appears on her platinum debut Pink Friday - as an "empowering" collaboration between the pair, saying that it encourages women to "soar high in the face of adversity".

Hunkface dreamboat and fist flinging R&B simpleton Chris Brown is a proud man this week. Has he gone and got a diamond grill? Has one of his records got a good review in Rolling Stone magazine? Did he save a kitten from a burning house?
No. He has finally discovered that hitting Rihanna in the face isn’t a very nice thing to do. AND HE HAS A CERTIFICATE TO PROVE IT!
That’s right good people of the internet! You can now get a certificate which says in massive letters, probably in Comic Sans, ‘I Learneded Not To Smack A Woman In The Face When She Pisses Me Right Off!’ and Chris Brown has been proudly showing his off to the world like he’s a returning champion.
Brown went on Twitter to tell fan that he has now completed his domestic violence classes that were part of his sentence for assaulting his ex - Rihanna aka The Coolest Woman On Earth - and that he was proud of finishing them.
“I have enough self respect and decency to be proud of accomplishing this DV class.. Boyz run from there mistakes.. Men learn from them!!!thx”
He also has very pointy knuckles as well. Possibly. We made that up.
Recently Beenie Man attacked Vybz Kartel concerning his song Dancehall Hero saying it's a disrespect to him and the elders in dancehall industry. However the latest attack comes from the Alliance leader Bounty Killer who's upset about the soon to be released Vybz Kartel's Cake Soap.

The X Factor champion Matt Cardle has exclusively revealed to MTV UK what was going through his head when duetting with superstar Rihanna, but you might be a bit surprised by his answer.
We caught up with the 27-year old, who looks set to be this year's Christmas No.1 with his version of the Biffy Clyro track When We Collide, to find out what it was like singing with RiRi.
Speaking about his finale duet with the Barbadian beauty, Cardle joked: "I was actually thinking just don’t get an erection. I had very thin, very soft trousers on and I was like 'please, please, please'. I was thinking "Margaret Thatcher, Margaret Thatcher."
He continued: "There was no a chance in hell that was going to happen to me at that stage though. I was just too nervous! (The duets) are just so weird and different. You can't prepare yourself for it and Rihanna got awfully close."
While on the subject of the What's My Name singer, Matt also admitted that he would love to work with Rihanna again, stating: "She called me on the Sunday night, I don’t have her number but she called my tour manager to congratulate me."
Bounty Killer, Danielle dating rumors swirl
Danielle responds to the rumor mills speculation of who she’s dating now. The singer who recently split from her long time boyfriend, British football player Ricardo Fuller, is now linked to dancehall icon, Bounty Killa. A popular website has fueled the fire by publishing photos of the two out on the town.
According to Danielle, “I’m no push over and will not be side tracked from my goals. I’m a very private person. All these years I have avoided putting my personal life in the media. My focus is my career and I couldn’t care less what they are all saying. I know I have lived my life in a respectable manner. Who I date has always been my business, middle finger inna de air.”
Danielle has recently released her videos, “Jamaican Girl” and “Push Over”, which are both in high rotation. Her latest single, “Rebel” produced by 2011 Grammy nominees, Sly & Robbie is definitely a song to watch.

After watching Keri Hilson's "The Way You Love Me" music video the world was wondering where did that raunchy side come from? She sat down with Perez Hilton where she told him some personal details about her "love Life" including how sometimes she just wants to be "f*cked."I admit, I wanted to see a sexier Keri Hilson but her new music video was somewhat over the top–licking a door hinge…really dude?
I must admit I would only be a hypocrite if I didn't understand where she was coming from with her latest statement. Sometimes women…we just want to be "f*cked.

If you haven’t seen Matt Kemp and Rihanna coupled up lately, I think I know why…Rumor has it the relationship is over. Apparently there’s been a lot of cheating on both sides and the couple have called it quits.
With Kemp partying in his off-season, and Rihanna traveling the globe promoting her music, the two slowly drifted apart..Kemp’s penchant for clubbing was also partly to blame for the demise of their relationship.
Uncle Luke, the man whose booty-shaking madness once made the U.S. Supreme Court stand up for free speech, gets as nasty as he wants to be for Miami New Times. This week, Luke debunks rumors spread on blogs and YouTube that Jay-Z is down with the illuminati.
People who depict Jay-Z as a devil-worshipping member of a secret society known as the illuminati are whack. Hov - as they call him - has constantly battled rumors he rose to the top by making a deal with Satan. Recently, he told website Hip-Hop Wired: "When people have a certain amount of success, it needs to be explained in a way other than hard work and talent and being blessed." He is absolutely on point.
All Jay-Z has done is work his ass off. Back in the day, he was on my pay-per-view program Luke's Freakshow. At that time, he was hanging with Biggie Smalls and observing how the late rapper dealt with fame. He learned from other rappers' mistakes, and that's why he has lasted so long in the business.
Jay-Z is a loyal guy who is way ahead of the game - you don't see him starting beef with other rappers or going to jail for stupid shit. But because he is so successful, and married to a very successful and famous woman (Beyoncé), people search for something screwed-up to say about him.
Who Had Barbee Cut Out Of Sean Kingston's Dutty Love Video & Why?
By Marvin Shadi
Dirty South Hip Hop
The battle of the Barbies began this past August, as a proverbial shot was fired that echoed throughout the West Indies, and then into America. The American born Jamaica raised young superstar Sean Kingston, called on Pop-Reggae starlet Barbee, widely known and loved throughout the islands, to be the primary female in his new video "Letting Go". "Jamaican Barbee," as she is called, was chosen by Sean's own mother for the role of Kingston's love interest in the video which has over 5 million views on YouTube.
The young singer looking to cross over into American pop jumped at the chance to be seen in this major production which was directed by none other than veteran video director, Little X. Young Money raptress Nicki Minaj was also featured and both of the "Barbies" were in attendance to do their "ting" in the video which was being shot in Jamaica, assuring a heavy public turnout. But when the video was premiered on BET, the principle Barbee had been strategically and mysteriously removed from over 30 frames, throughout the video. The Jamaican community, here and on the mainland, were outraged with their "original" Barbee being purged from the video while having to watch the Trini-American Barbie chat a rap in patois. The question on everyone’s mind is, who had Barbee cut out of the video and why?
HHW: Where are you from?
Barbee: I was born in New York and went to live in Jamaica, my mother's homeland and also Nigeria, my father's homeland. I also did some growing up in the Bronx.

When it came to her abusive relationship with Chris Brown, Rihanna says it changed her for the better - and, as a result, she's now stronger and happier than ever before.
"I couldn't have been the woman I am, the friend, or the sister or the artist, or the role model I am today if I didn't go through what I went through," the singer, 22, tells then British Marie Claire for its December issue.
After the violent incident back in February 2009 that left her with physical injuries and her then-boyfriend Brown, now 21, charged with assault, Rihanna recalls: "I felt like an empty vessel."
Speaking through tears, she adds, "It's scary, you just lose touch of everything that you love and everything that you would normally do; how you would dress or how you would say something."
On whether she resented the details of that fateful evening becoming public knowledge, she shakes her head.
Chris Brown has insisted that he is now in a better place and has become a more "positive person".
The singer, who assaulted then-girlfriend Rihanna in February 2009, said that he has matured into a "great guy".
He told Access Hollywood: "Everything is good, I'm definitely - me personally and mentally - I'm a great guy now. I'm more of a person who is definitely more positive.
"I have new music coming real soon; I'm in the studio, back and forth, continuously, just having fun. I'm going to continue to make great dance videos and just be me."
Rihanna recently revealed that Brown's domestic violence was the wake-up call she needed to end their relationship.

Speaking on this subject, a source told News of the World that "Rihanna adores Matt. She can't imagine life without him. She isn't married to Drake, and doesn't even like 'boys'...
Apparently Minaj purposely wanted to cause a stir over the net by pretending to be married to Drizzy.
She told DJ Drama: "Drake is just my little brother and I kid with him all the time. That's all. Yes, yes, we were just being crazy and I think we were a little bit bored. I wouldn't say we were bored, but we were being just mischievous.
"I did another interview and they asked me and I said, every day I see things written about me that aren't true.
The Your Love hit-maker went on to claim that she finds boys ‘yucky’ and she doesn’t actually like men:
“So I wanted to kinda give the blogs a little bit of payback and put my own story out [laughs]. I don't date boys, I don't like boys (laughs). It's true, I think boys are yucky and that's it. There's nothing more to say."
OutAroad.com has received numerous phone calls and BB messages requesting to know the truth behind the BB message that was allegedly sent out by dancehall trend setter Vybz Kartel.
The BB message describes Zj Liquid as a wanna be artiste who copied Vybz Kartel slang ('Oh'). The BB message also lashes out against Beenie Man as well for repeatedly using Vybz Kartel styles.
However, many refused to believe the BB rumor so the next step was to get in contact with the Gaza General.
"Outaroad.com. Are u serious? how Kartel fi dis Beenie Man? People believe what they want and quite frankly, separate and apart from my gaza fans whom I love dearly, I couldn't care less what people think. Gaza me name. Beenie say gaza and liquid say music. A love inna dancehall so naysayers know what to do."
Apart from the rumor OutAroad.com gets to understand that Vybz Kartel's re-make of the Beatle's 1970 Hit classic Let It Be is one the many featured songs today on the Homepage of iTunes Music Store (US).

Don't worry about Timbaland - he never tried to take his own life.
"I don't even know what happened, to be honest," the rapper-producer (real name: Timothy Mosley) told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show Wednesday, after reports that he tried to commit suicide surfaced online. "I don't know what people are talking about. Why would I commit suicide?"
Earlier Wednesday, news broke that Timbaland, 39, fled his house and wanted to harm himself after someone reportedly stole a $2 million watch from his collection.
"Something did happen," he told Seacrest, confirming that he was robbed. "It wasn't a watch [that was stolen]. It was something else." And, Timbaland says, he "took a drive to figure out how I'm going to handle it," while somebody close to him reportedly called the authorities, concerned about his well-being.
Justin Bieber isn't the first pop-star to sing this tune, that's for sure.
The Bieb's mom, Pattie Mallette (who will NOT be posing for Playboy any time soon, thank you very much) tells E! News that her son has a strict code of ethics when it comes to the girls he dates. "He's expressed his desire to stay pure, and honor women, and treat women with respect," she says.
Just what every 16-year-old boy wants: his mom, on national television, talking about his virginity.
"It's definitely hard to find, like, a girl that really likes me for me," Bieber confesses. Poor thing. Are they all using him to get to Usher?
Speaking of Usher, Bieber's R&B mentor recently made the ultimate sacrifice for Bieber's career -- he gave up his personal assistant, Ryan Good, so that Good could go be Bieber's road manager and show him the ropes. "The idea, for Usher, was to bring me in [to] be Justin's Puffy, introducing him to the world of entertainment," Good says, referring to the way Sean Combs mentored Usher.
Introduce him to the world of entertainment all you want... just don't introduce him to too many girls.
If you were a young single man, would you turn down a date with pop star Rihanna? Probably not, unless your name is Sean Kingston.
The "Beautiful Girls" crooner tells The Mirror about the time he turned down a date with the "Rude Boy" singer because...his clothes weren't ironed:
Rihanna asked me to go clubbing with her [when we met in London]. Looking back I can't believe I said no just because I didn't have any clothes ironed. But I couldn't go out with a superstar looking bad.
We can understand why Sean wanted to make sure he looked nice for RiRi but something tells us that if people saw him saunter into a club with Rihanna on his arm no one would notice that his clothes were a little bit wrinkled.
The media is turning the relationship between pop star Rihanna and her baseball boyfriend Matt Kemp of the Los Angeles Dodgers into a spectacle. Ripping a page right out of the Jessica Simpson/Tony Romo of the Dallas Cowboys play book, the blogosphere is speculating that the outfielder is in a slump because he is distracted by his famous girlfriend. Kemp is hitting only .196 this month, and his defensive play has slipped, too.
A few years back, the media accused singer Simpson of being a hex on her quarterback boyfriend, Romo, who broke up last summer. It must be a slow news day when these stories surface.
"I want [Rihanna] to strip at my bachelorette party. She’s hot, I love her. She’s just the coolest chick and I want all of her clothes. ... I don’t know if she started this rumor that she’s going to [plan my bachelorette party], or if she just hopped on the bandwagon of the rumors like, ‘I’m going to do it! That’s the one thing that I don’t have to plan, which I’m really excited about.”

The Tampa tart who claims Tiger Woods fathered her cub might want to muzzle her mom.
She threw a wrench in porn actress Devon James' plans to get the golfer to admit he fathered her now 9-year-old son by announcing Friday that the boy's real daddy is an ex-con - and she has the DNA report to prove it.
"Tiger Woods is not the father of Austin, my daughter's child," Sandra Jane Brinling told Inside Edition. "And that's what Tiger Woods needs to know."
Brinling spoke out a day after James filed papers in Florida under her real name, Melinda Janette, asking a judge to "establish paternity" of her son - and named Woods as the respondent.
James made the move after TMZ.com reported that a DNA test done eight years ago on her son proved another man was his daddy.
The TMZ account is "false," a source close to the 29-year-old escort told the Daily News on Thursday.
"The DNA test done in 2001 was on a man who is a white guy, a complete white guy," the source said. "His name is Matt. The test showed he is not the father, and Tiger has never taken a DNA test."

Alliance deejay Bling Dawg is just a few months away from becoming a member of the Father's Club.
The 36 year old deejay has been attacked by several artistes who poked fun at him for not "breeding any gal". Out of all the deejays that poked fun at Bling Dawg in their songs the ones that connected the most were done by Vybz Kartel.
In the song "When Since" Vybz Kartel deejayed. "B*tty bowy bling still caan get a pickney, tru him bl**dclaat tongue too frisky". While in the song "A Wha Duh Dem”, he penned, "look at Bling Dawg if you want to know what a fag be,
di gal dem seh di bredda c*cky not working,
suh dem calling in pon Mutty Perkins,
Seh him a big 40-year-old virgin.
Now that Bling Dawg's longtime girlfriend is expecting a little one then the lyrics above can no longer be directed at Bling Dawg.
'Bling Dawg Summer Jam'
Residents from Bling Dawg's home town (Portland) can start preparing themselves for Bling Dawg Summer Jam which will be held on July 10, at Somerset Falls. Already several top acts have been billed for the show they are Bounty Killer, Mavado, Munga Honourebel, Busy Signal, Assassin, Aidonia, Tarrus Riley, Wayne Marshall, Spice, Bugle, Stacious and Serani.
Adult film actress and golfer Tiger Woods’ mistress Devon James, claims that Tiger Woods is the daddy for her son Austin James who is 9 years old. Devon said, when she got pregnant she was 19 years old and Tiger and she met Christian School program. To prove this allegation she never had a DNA test, but she says Tiger was the only African American man she dated at that time.
On the other hand, Devon James’ mother says, her daughter is lying about this whole thing and Tiger Woods is not the father of that boy. She even said, James is a pathological liar, she knows who is the dad for Austin. James is out there just to lie and steal money, now all that she wants is money from Tiger Woods, she said.
Tiger Woods is again in trouble withe one more gossip about him, only he can clarify if this is true or not. But, no one would not trust his words after having so many affairs even after being married. Time will tell what is right and what is not, we are nobody to judge anyone just because someone is saying something about him or her.

They were dating last year…
Drake has said he thinks that Rihanna used him when they dated briefly last year.
In a new interview with the New York Times he talks for the first time about his night with the Rude Boy star.
Drizzy said: “I was a pawn, You know what she was doing to me? She was doing exactly what I've done to so many women throughout my life, which is show them quality time, then disappear. I was like, 'Wow, this feels terrible.’”

I've tried to ignore this feud, but it just won't go away. First, Lil Kim tossed some nasty barbs at her doppelganger Nicki Minaj. Drake fired back on behalf of his labelmate. Now Kim is dissing Diddy, who happens to be her former boss and Minaj's current manager. Is your head spinning yet?
Is it an ego issue? You bet it is. "It's all about respect," Kim says in this YouTube video. Huh? Respect? Nicki Minaj has paid Lil Kim the utmost respect by emulating Kim in more ways than I count. It's almost embarrassing how much of Kim's swag Nicki has jacked at this point. She dresses like Lil Kim, raps like Lil Kim, and even went as far as reenacting Queen Bee's Notorious KIM album cover in a photoshoot. Imitation, they say, is the biggest form of flattery. Lil Kim is exactly what Nicki Minaj wants to be when she grows up.
Lil Kim hasn't had a relevant record in years. Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj has been gathering reams of buzz ever since she signed with Lil Wayne's Young Money. By hurling insults at the younger, flashier version of herself, Kim comes off as a cantankerous ol' head who's simply envious of Minaj's success. And that thought is bizarre, since it's Kim who has the platinum plaques and enviable catalog that Minaj could only dream of for now.
I have an idea. Ladies, take this to the studio and let the music do the talking.
American rapper Nicki Minaj broke throughin 2008, but Web rumors are that before she hit it big, she made a sex tape. Now the tape is reportedly for sale for (gulp) $100,000.
The sex tape is rumored to be full of Nicki "doing all kinds of freaky stuff". This rumor is gathering even more steam than the one about her wearing butt pads, which she totally denies.
You'll be able to check her butt pads out on the upcoming BET Awards, since she's nominated four times. However, she's up against Justin Bieber for Best New Artist. Better luck next time, Nicki. Beating the Biebs may be tough.
It's a mother's prerogative: Mariah Carey will announce her pregnancy on her own timetable, not anyone else's.
A pal recently confirmed to Us Weekly that the diva, 41, is "in the early stages of pregnancy," but wants to wait until after the first trimester to share the news.
Yet even her husband of two years Nick Cannon let it slip on May 30 when chatting with fans in Malibu. "Her bump is bigger," he gushed. "You can almost see it now...I'm very excited!"
But Cannon, 29, is now defending his wife's silence on the subject. "If & when my wife is ready to make ANY announcements about private matters she will do it personally," he wrote on Twitter Wednesday night. "Thanks for being respectful GodBless."
The late songstress Aaliyah once sang the undeniable words, ‘age ain’t nothing but a number’, and Jay Z recently announced that forty is the new twenty, but a lot of Jamaicans obviously haven’t gotten these messages, clearly proven when one of the hottest topics in the streets of Jamaica and on the internet, is the age of some of our top entertainers and who should retire and who shouldn’t. There is no denying that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but when ones opinion is shrouded by the blurriness of senseless analysis, addressing the matter is inevitable.
Vybz Kartel recently addressed Bounty Killer as a Dinosaur, carbon-dating him as prehistoric, (while Kartel, is a mere three years Killer’s junior), causing the Warlord to not only get cross, angry and miserable, but also forced him to literally go hard or go home.
Dancehall diva Macka Diamond seems to be the latest victim of the age discussion, with claims on the internet that she is fifty years or older, when nothing is further from the truth. What however is really funny about this argument is that those who are making these ridiculous claims feel as if music started with them, and will end with them. So with that said, the obvious question seems to be, what is the retirement age in the Jamaican entertainment industry, because although some are talking, one look around and we can see that there are those inside and outside our shores who have continued working way into their twilight years, and are actually doing a wonderful job of it, so what is all the talk of age, and who is old and should retire all about, when all the real heavyweights in the entertainment industry are all grown, and still very sexy.

It has now been nearly a year since pop icon Michael Jackson has passed away, but that isn't going to stop someone from coming out and revealing that towards the end of Jackson's life, he had an intimate gay relationship with a man named Jason Pfeiffer. The story was broke to the tabloid Extra. Jackson - who's sexual orientation has often been in question - was obviously a private person personally with his children and his short-lived marriages, but was often in the media spotlight prior to his death in late June 2009.
His alleged relationship with Pfeiffer, his-then assistant to his dermatologist, began in 2008 when the two allegedly met in his father’s dermatology office. Pfeiffer told Extra that the relationship was both "passionate and sexual."
"We were just sitting there and we both started to cry and I got up and went over to him and said it’s going to be OK Michael," Pfeiffer revealed to the tabloid. "We hugged, and it was kind of then that the hug was a little bit more. It wasn't until a few months later that it was obvious that Michael had feelings for me as well. I just assumed that he was probably bisexual. I know we loved each other, I know he told me that all the time. I believe that he was probably my soul mate."
The hard-partying starlet posted a pic on her Twitter account Wednesday, in which she's holding a gun to her mouth. The caption below reads, "Polaroid from a shoot."
The photo comes at a time when Lindsay's father, Michael Lohan, is trying to get her into rehab. He says he's scared for her life and claims his daughter has a serious drug and alcohol problem. He is also fearful for his youngest daughter Ali, 16, who is currently living with Lindsay.
This isn't the first dangerous photo that LiLo has taken. In 2007, pics surfaced on the net showing her with pal Vanessa Minnillo playing with knives.

The brother of Oscar-winning star Mo'Nique has admitted to sexually abusing his sister for years during their childhood.
Gerald Imes appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show Monday, where he apologized for his behavior that began when the actress was just 7 years old.
"I'm sorry, Mo'Nique," Imes said. "I'm sorry. I betrayed everybody's trust. I broke that trust. I broke that bond."
Mo'nique, who has spoken publicly about the abuse she endured at the hands of her brother, saying she channeled "that monster" when she played the abusive mother in Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire. She refused to be involved in Imes's interview with Oprah or respond to his apology.
Imes blamed the sexual abuse, which continued for two years, on the fact that he too had been molested and was using drugs to get through the pain.
"I started using cocaine, heroin, alcohol at the age of 11," he told Winfrey. "I used these drugs to hide my own pain, to hide my own fears ... The drugs allowed me and afforded me the opportunity to hurt my sister."
Imes was later sentenced to 12 years in prison for molesting another girl. But now he says he's looking to repair his relationship with his sister and move forward.
"I can only hope by coming forth today...that somewhere down the line …we can come back together as siblings," he said. "I understand your pain. I truly think, let's share this together and move on."
Long overdue for some positive celebrity gossip, they received some today.
Star center fielder Matt Kemp made several public appearances over the winter with R&B singer Rihanna, but the crooner and the slugger steadfastly refused to confirm the two were an item. That changed today on Ryan Seacrest's syndicated radio show.
"He's my boyfriend. ... It's new and it's fun and it's nothing too serious. I don't want anything nuts that's gonna take up so much of my energy and time in a bad way."
Oh, and Kemp got some decent news on the field, too. He went 2 for 4 and drove in two runs as the Dodgers claimed their first victory of the season, 10-2, over the Pittsburgh Pirates. Kemp's now batting .357.

A Florida woman prominently featured in a homemade sex tape posted online by 50 Cent last year as part of his feud with Rick Ross has sued 50 (born Curtis Jackson) in New York City, claiming he unlawfully distributed the video over the Internet.
According to The Associated Press, Lastonia Leviston filed the lawsuit on Wednesday in Manhattan, claiming unauthorized use of her name or image and emotional distress caused by the public release of a video she made with an unidentified man in 2008. In the tape, Leviston is seen showing off a tattoo on her chest with the initials "RR," seemingly in reference to Ross, and 50 is heard providing exaggerated voice-over narration to the action in his wigged "Pimpin' Curly" persona.
In the lawsuit, Leviston claims the rapper posted the video on ThisIs50.com last year, blurring out the face of the man in the tape but not hers, and that 50 edited himself into the video.

When it comes to serious commitments, Dodgers player Matt Kemp has his eye on one thing -- baseball.
Despite his romantic trip to Mexico last month with Rihanna, the center fielder says he's focused on spring training and helping his team make it to the World Series.
"I can't get distracted by that," Kemp said in an interview on the L.A. Dodgers Web site of the paparazzi frenzy surrounding the Cabo San Lucas vacation. "When it's time to play baseball, that's my job. No distractions."
Though Kemp, 25, and Rihanna, 21, were spotted smooching and snuggling together, the hunky jock said the Grammy winner is "just a friend, a good friend of mine." He added, "We went down to Mexico and had fun together."
You have to have a look. Lady Gaga has a very creative, unique look. However Taylor Swift has that blonde girl next door look that can easily transfer to movies and TV shows.
Although Taylor Swift writes songs, the trick here is to find a songwriter(s) who can take your sappy teen loves songs and mold them into number one hits. You still wrote the songs, but now they make sense and you get credit for being a genius.
Make sure your producer cleans up your vocals. Taylor Swift has an average singing voice, but with the right producer can use musical software like auto tunes that will make you sound like Faith Hill's little sister.

Word on the street is that Rihanna's new 'unboyfriend' Matt Kemp has a dark history behind him. According to at least one of his ex-girlfriends, Matt Kemp has a violent history. Here's what the mags are saying:
"Apparently Rihanna's new man LA Dodgers star Matt Kemp has a history of anger management issues and violence towards women. His ex, actress Felisha Terrell, had to file a restraining order against him (in 2008), which stated, "He is violent and I am afraid." Felisha claimed she suffered “constant verbal abuse and threats." He also allegedly changed the locks on their apartment and had his friends drive up and down the street to intimidate her.
Terrell in her application for the restraining order claimed that Matt was "kicked out of a club for fighting with a woman - I am afraid his behavior will turn towards me since we are no longer dating".
Oh-Kay.... So, Rihanna jumps out of the arms of one domestic abuser into the arms of an alleged one? We're beginning to think that Rihanna is having problems picking men...

According to a source close to Lisa Hyper - "The single is mostly geared towards advising young girls not to make the same mistake as Lisa's, but at the same time she secretly addresses her being expelled from the Portmore Empire".
However with lines like "all in a fi him head a him win di game, but him never know him only gi mi more fame" is more than enough clue to tell who the lyrics hitting on.
This track has certainly shows the artistic side of Lisa Hyper and if she continues this versatile trend then she will definitely have a great 2010.

Kanye West hasn't been making headlines lately, so it was with much interest that Make Me Heal learned that he may be engaged to his attention seeking girlfriend, former stripper Amber Rose. The couple is said to be heading towards matrimony on a tropical island, but without plastic surgery.
32-year old Kanye lost his mother to plastic surgery back in 2007 during a liposuction procedure, so it makes sense that he would seek a natural beauty like Amber Rose to make his life partner.
Amber Rose has a stunning figure, which she frequently shows off, but she doesn't appear to have the breast implants or nose job that are so popular with many strippers and models.
