Beenie Man Inks Distribution Deal With Tommy Boy For New Singles
BEENIE MAN MAKES AGGRESSIVE MOVES IN US MARKET
International recording superstar Beenie Man and his management team has inked a distribution deal with Tommy Boy Entertainment LLC to distribute three of the artiste's more recent singles in the US marketplace.
"We have signed a deal with Tommy Boy that will see them distributing the 'Greatest Gallis' song featuring Sean Paul, 'Soul Mate', a song with Gyptian that has over 100,00 hits on youtube already after only one month and one more 'song produced by Beenie Man's label, MD Entertainment," Rohan 'Blue' Smith, Beenie Man's manager said in a relase.
Beenie Man recently completed a successful two week mini-tour of the United States where he tested a number of markets stateside to support the release of his upcoming EP, 'King in Control: Dweet Again'. The tour kicked off performances in Jacksonville before moving on to Orlando, Minnesota, Tampa and upstate New York. The self-proclaimed King of the Dancehall pulled out large numbers of fans on several occasions on the tour.
"The first performance in Jacksonville was incredible, but the best feedback so far was at the Epic Event Center in Minneapolis on April 12th. Is not just any and any artiste can play at the Epic which features big hip hop acts and such, and Beenie Man locked down the show over the weekend...the tour was great, we only missed one show because of some scheduling conflicts. The shows were a confirmation that there is a big demand for Beenie Man and that is why Tommy Boy is now on board," Rohan 'Blue' Smith, Beenie Man's manager, said in a release.
