Tessane dominated night two of this season's blind auditions. Read on for our other top picks from the Sept. 24 episode of 'The Voice.'
Tessanne Chin: Adam Says She Could Win 'The Voice'
But it was Tessanne Chin, 28, who really had the judges going all-in. The final performer of the evening, singing "Try" by Pink, this Jamaica native had all four judges turned around by the time she hit the song's chorus.
Having performed on tour with well-known reggae singer Jimmy Cliff, Tessanne is no novice, but she was still nervous to go on The Voice.
"This is my first time, on this level, singing a song that's not reggae," Tessanne revealed. "I'm going to hold on with two hands and make the most of this opportunity."
Jimmy, himself, called in to wish her luck. He said her audition was "a great opportunity for America to see you."
She knocked it out of the park, giving Adam the confidence to proclaim, "You could easily win The Voice this season." And with that, Team Adam snagged the final performer for the second night in a row.
The first contestant to grace The Voice stage Sept. 24 was Jacquie Lee, 16, singing Amy Winehouse's "Back to Black." Her voice was soulful, but her boots are what really stole the show - at least for Cee Lo Green.
Jacquie Lee's Boots Steal the Show
Jacquie wore a pair of black rhinestoned moto boots that Cee Lo absolutely loved. While cracking jokes about Blake Shelton's southern twang, Cee Lo (semi-seriously) asked, "Did you get those from "ale-doe?" He then proceeded to take a picture and tweet, "Can't a man just enjoy a nice pair of boots? @xtina knows what I'm talking about #VoiceReunited."
Jacquie's performance earned her a synchronized two-chair turn from both Christina Aguilera and Blake. Christina reflected on her own experience becoming a singer at a young age, saying, "I want to be that shoulder that you can lean on." So Jacquie chose Team Christina!
"She has a really cool funky sound; I'm happy she's on my team," Christina boasted.
Holly Henry: First Four-Chair Of The Night
Holly Henry, 19, earned the first four-chair turn of the night, singing "The Scientist" by Coldplay. This young, shy, slightly-awkward teen is a self-proclaimed songwriter - only she'd never really performed in front of a crowd before until The Voice.
"Being in front of all these people is a big step," Holly said.
Blake hit his button after Holly's first word, Adam Levine and Cee Lo turned during the chorus, and Christina snuck her button push in just before Holly's final note. After going artist-less for the first half of the show, Blake gave her a standing ovation and proclaimed, "Because of you, I'm officially excited for season five." And excited he should be; Holly chose team Blake and become his first vocalist of the night!
