When the Merry Moments Train hosted by cellular giant LIME rolled in to Savanna-La-Mar last Saturday, it did so with Camalla Latouche, the effervescent, dynamic, beauty who is also herself an Artiste and Radio Host at BESS FM at the helm as Emcee.
LIME'S visit was to the Petersfield Primary School in its Christmas Community outreach project which involved donating chairs, tables, a laptop computer and one year's internet access for the school, along with a full day of activities, bounce-about, trampoline; merry-go round and entertainment anchored by Camalla.
Fresh from several engagements all across the country with Voices for Climate Change with school children focused on the environment, Camalla says:
"This was the perfect opportunity for me, as LIME has committed to impacting schools in its Christmas Outreach which it dubs “Merry Moments” by being the catalyst for physical improvements to schools all across Jamaica, while providing a Christmas Treat along with live entertainment. In fact, it catered quite nicely to my style, the vibe that I like to create with the audience and I do so love to work with children.”
Signing on to host the remaining Merry Moments with LIME is another feather in her Cap but Camalla is not done there. She has pretty full Bookings for the upcoming Yuletide Season and will be very busy. As is customary, she received a rousing reception from the audience young and old, rocked the event and simply "wowed them".
Watch out for Camalla and the LIME Train at the Windsor School in May Pen this coming Saturday; at Sandy Bay Primary in Montego Bay December 08, and Mandeville and Brown's Town, St Ann, on December 15 and 24th respectively.
