Recording artiste IQ is at it again with his hot new single and video entitled STREET LIFE. The single speaks to the everyday middle class persons hustling in the streets to earn a living. Street hustling ranges from the persons who wipe car glasses, selling bag juice and phone card to the person who owns a little stall on the road side.
IQ captures and highlights the day-to-day activities of the hustlers in his own creative way. This song is done for persons in small jobs mainly overlooked by others. He also encourages them to stay focused and keep on “hustling” rather than choosing less viable options to “earn a bread”.
The video which was directed by Tripledose Production was shot in various locations in the Kingston and St Andrew area, by REDFACE, a video director and editor (Over and Beyond Films). Kingston's scenery is the perfect location as the streets are laced with all types of hustling activities which are lyrically painted by IQ.
IQ along with management team of Tripledose Production have set out to promote this single and video through the various media medium. Video premiers, interviews by various TV and Radio stations as well as mix CD’s will aid in the promotion of the single.
IQ has been busy working with different producers on various singles. These singles include “weh we a guh do” produced by Friends For Real Production and “Jingle Bell Christmas” which features the well known artiste Jahvinci. He has also worked with international recording company “Juglas Production” on a song entitled ‘Real Life’. The song is expected to set the pace for the artiste in 2013.
