Dancehall/Pop international 5 Stars Recording Inc. artiste Baby Chris has recently returned to Jamaica after a successful Japan Tour in cities such as Okinawa, Kyoto Shi, Osaka and Fukuoka. The talented singer left the island late February and went to the USA for a media tour with his Management team prior to going to Japan. Upon arriving in the US, Baby Chris won the award for Most Improved Artist on the Linkage Award Show and was featured on several major radio stations throughout his visit. The media was also in full support of his press party held at the exclusive lounge Negril Village in New York City.
Baby Chris is now receiving heavy rotation and charting across America for his local hit single "What Did I Do" on the Split Personality Rhythm and the newly released single "Why" is also progressing steadily in the marketplace. Charting is definitely nothing new for this vibes master as he achieved Billboard and Top of the Pops recognition while in the group L.O.C. for the smash hit "Ring Ding Ding".
While only in Jamaica for the next few weeks, Baby Chris plans to make the best of it with more performances and promotions for all his fans as he prepares to film a music video with Ding Dong for their new party single "Ravers". He also will focus on his fitness for the upcoming Annual Celebrity Soccer Match in Brooklyn, New York being held on Memorial Day May 28th, where he will go up against fellow entertainers such as Beenie Man, Spagga Benz, Ding Dong, Mad Cobra, Tanya Stephens, D'Angel and more.

His manager Clifton Lawrence of 5 Stars Recording Inc. has confirmed that they are getting a lot of attention from mainstream players in the industry and major recording labels are showing an interest in the artiste. Even with his busy schedule they will undoubtedly be doing extensive recordings for the release of his next album later this year.

The label's local representative Tyehimba Kafele states "5 Stars Recording will continue to keep Baby Chris on the rise, working diligently to ensure that he reaches the maximum level of the business and creative arena". While in the island Team 5 Stars will arrange football giveaways to some communities in Kingston. Ochi Rios, Montego Bay and Westmoreland to help foster the development of other inner city STARS.
