Breakthrough Dancehall starlet, Tiana has once again shifted styles to rave reviews as she's teamed with dancehall deejay, Stein for a sensual duet entitled Long Distance Relationship.
Produced by New Planet Records, Long Distance Relationship shows very contrasting sides of two artistes who are more duly noted for their hardcore, thought-provoking lyrics. For their latest single, Tiana and Stein talk about the emotional toll that a long distance relationship can have on a couple and emphasizes on the difficulty of coping without physical interaction.
Stein delivers strong lyrical ingenuity through his verses, deejaying "From di fus' time wi meet, di ting connect, a nuh fi money, a nuh fi assets, but when reality intercept, wi haffi keep in touch pon di internet, true love is hard to find so wi nah let go, mi know yuh nuh wan' lef', mi nuh wan' lef yuh, nuh pay dem vanity nuh mind when dem wan’ get yuh, di Almighty mek yuh perfect, Jah bless yuh."
Tiana's vocal strength merges well with Stein's rough-edge lyrical style throughout the chorus, singing, "I'm missing your touch, your touch, I miss you so much….I miss you so much, so much, I'm missing your touch."
Long Distance Relationship has garnered over 6,000 YouTube views since its release late last week and has received positive feedback from peers and fans for their change of styles throughout this Reggae-themed duet.
Meanwhile, Stein is promoting his latest solo effort, Badman A Badman as well as the video for his single, Visa Buddy while Tiana continues to build momentum off the release of her debut EP, Princess of the Dancehall and copped two nominations for this summer's International Reggae And World Music Awards (IRAWMA).
