Formerly known as the Ultimate Water Party, last Saturday night's staging of the Kirov Water Party at the Lime Golf Academy was drenched in fun and excitements with over 5000 patrons coming out to be submerged in excitement.
With performances from Trinidad's Soca Monarch 2010 winner JW & Blaze, Konshens as well as wining competitions on stage all night. Patrons who came out were not only soaking wet at the end but also fully entertained.
The show was typified by infectious soca beats that have dominated to scene since the start of the Jamaica soca season as well as some popular local hits. The quality of the production was excellent with the scenery properly matching the concept and added attractions such as Kirov drink deals and water trucks constantly pumping water to the beats of by ZJ Chrome, DJ Sanjay, Chris Dymond, Razz 'n Biggy, DJ Billy and Shane Firestarter.
Jared Samuel Brand Assistant for Kirov Premium Vodka and Kirov Flavoured Vodka says he was happy with the response from patrons: "The crowd was amazing and everybody had fun. This synergy between soca music and Kirov is a match made in heaven and every patron who came out enjoyed not only the performances and the constant flow of water but also the overall theme of the event and the free flowing liquor. We are happy that patrons were also responsible in their drinking and everybody had clean fun".
Kirov Water Party lived up to its billing and soca fans can expect bigger and better things next soca season.
