Legendary Dancehall entertainer, Rodney Price, more popularly known as Bounty Killer has shared his feelings publicly regarding the recent announcement that former rival, Beenie Man and ex-girlfriend, D'Angel are seeking a divorce.
News broke three weeks ago of a divorce when Beenie Man clarified on TVJ's Entertainment Report that D'Angel sent divorce papers; insisting that the two had not spoken for weeks and that they could no longer co-exist as a couple. One of the breaking points within the marriage was when D'Angel did not appear at Beenie's birthday party despite turning up at ex-boyfriend, Bounty Killer's birthday party earlier in the summer. "Regardless a if mi and her have a divorce agreement to deal wid, I tink she shudda still come a my birthday because mi is her husband and me is Marco Dean father, so why should you call me and tell me pon my phone seh yuh a go to Bounty Killer birthday party, when Bounty Killer disrespect you so much in the media & call yuh di worst tings," Beenie intimated during an interview with TVJ's EMix that aired September 3rd.
Recently, Bounty Killer took to his official Twitter page to share his thoughts on Beenie & D'Angel's split; insisting D'Angel was never really in love with Beenie. In one tweet, Bounty said, "No diss still but Angel didn't love Beenie she loves all the things he was doing and which woman nuh want wedding and a puppet?" Additionally, Bounty implied, regarding her appearance at his birthday party, “I didn't invite Angel she just turns up n they let her in the world knows who she rates more it's no secret ask Jackie her sis?" D'Angel declined to respond to Bounty Killer's tweet; intimating that she doesn't want any more public controversy or speculation surrounding her and is focused on building her career.
Beenie Man and Bounty Killer engaged in a lyrical war in 2006 regarding D'Angel after Beenie alleged that Bounty was very condescending regarding D'Angel after she left him.
