At a time when Jamaica is challenged with maintaining the viability of the hotel industry, and overseas investment interest seems to be waning, British/Jamaican nationals have found entertainment to be an excellent means of attracting tourists to the island.

BritJam is a seven-day Spring package of parties and trips to local attractions, and is patronized by hundreds of British/European & American tourists. In the last two years, BritJam has been an important indicator that Jamaica’s path to growth is through non-traditional channels.

The challenge is for all aspects of the entertainment industry to keep standards consistently high. Artists, attractions, hotels, villas, stores...etc have benefitted from the burgeoning search for high quality springtime entertainment".
