After hearing the news that Vybz Kartel and Mavado wont be performing on Sting 2010 OutAroad.com hits the streets to get the views of the public weather or not if Sting will be able to pull out a huge audience without Gully and Gaza.

Yow big man thing Sting is known for clashing and even if Vybz Kartel and Mavado were on the line sting would still be flopped because from the people know that no clashing is going to take place them nah go turn out, Sting a poor people thing and wi not going to pay wi little money that we save if we are not going to be properly entertained.

I think the sting promoters knew that with or without Vybz Kartel or Mavado the event will not get the deserving turn because there is no feud flying in the air, but if the Gully god and Gaza General on the show they would probably get a 30% audience increase even if there is no clash.

Dem fi know that sting will flop without Vybz Kartel and Mavado, dem nuh see seh a Gully and Gaza rule di world di man dem thing global, respect goes out to Beenie Man as well. But my feeling about Sting this year is that they are going to have the lowest turn out ever in the history of staging of Sting.

This is what happens to promoters who make entertainment into violent events because if they had made people accept the event for entertainment then they would not be in this position I am not a fan of Vybz Kartel and Mavado their songs are everywhere even when you are trying to escape the sounds of Mavado and Kartel you just cant. Hats off to promoters who focus on entertainment their audience without clashing.

Big man nutten much nuh gwaan fi mi from the year start business slow so why mi ago worry my self about who is on sting or not. Anyway mi answer to your question is if the promoters of Sting want to pull their usual audience they will definitely have to find a way how to have some form of clashing, look at it this way what’s a bee with out its sting.

Before we even talk about the Mavado Vybz Kartel issue I want to touch a very important topic. Bredren two year straight them bruk into mi car…I am an authentic Sting fan so I will be there even if Vybz Kartel or Mavado is not on the lineup. But first I want to hear them run a radio ad saying that the promoters of Sting will be responsible for the break-in or damage of patrons’ vehicle. Sting need to make sure we the patrons can watch the show comfortable without worrying a bit about the well beings of our vehicles.
