Danielle is making a sharp return to the spotlight with the release of her hot new single "Jamaican Girl". The song's intention is to represent all ladies of Jamaican origin, similar to Katy Perry's reigning billboard hit, "California Gurls", which features Snoop Dogg.

The inspiration for this track came from the absence of a hit that would proudly represent Jamaican females across the board. The cliché of giving major attention to a particular group of females can be seen as disunion. She has therefore created a patriotic opportunity, for island girls to proudly rave to, in unity.

When quizzed on her inspiration Danielle said, "My intention is to highlight all proud Jamaicans, not singling out the hot girls or uptown females, but ladies from all walks of life, out of many one people". She continued to express the joy she has found with her recent efforts and implores her loyal fans to keep up, as she makes strides ahead.
