Danielle strives to promote patriotism throughout the Caribbean

dannielle-di.jpgDanielle is making a sharp return to the spotlight with the release of her hot new single "Jamaican Girl". The song's intention is to represent all ladies of Jamaican origin, similar to Katy Perry's reigning billboard hit, "California Gurls", which features Snoop Dogg.

The inspiration for this track came from the absence of a hit that would proudly represent Jamaican females across the board. The cliché of giving major attention to a particular group of females can be seen as disunion. She has therefore created a patriotic opportunity, for island girls to proudly rave to, in unity.

When quizzed on her inspiration Danielle said, "My intention is to highlight all proud Jamaicans, not singling out the hot girls or uptown females, but ladies from all walks of life, out of many one people". She continued to express the joy she has found with her recent efforts and implores her loyal fans to keep up, as she makes strides ahead.

The fresh, UPT 007 produced track has been receiving excellent reviews and comfortable rotation on the airwaves. A video for the single is already in the making and set for release next month. The video will captivate cultural scenes depicting the best of Jamaica.

Danielle has been in hiatus, working hard behind the scenes with legendary producers, Sly & Robbie. She has also done a vast amount of song writing, vocal and performance training while away from centre stage. With a strong team to support her efforts in moving forward, a seamless transition to mainstream success is around the corner.

Her next move is a remix to take the song to a broader Diaspora with a new title, "Caribbean Girl". Connections are now being made to have Bajan beauty, Rihanna as well as Rap star, Nicky Minaj on the remix.
