Snatcha's No More War Creating A Buzz On The Airwaves

Snatcha-reggae.jpgSince he began his musical career in the late 1997 Glenroy Bonner aka Snatcha who is a member of the famous Bonner Brothers which includes Pliers, Spanner Banner and Richie Spice has been carving niche for himself in the local music industry. Snatcha’s first single titled African Woman was released in 1997, since then he has made his presence felt on the local music scene with popular singles such as Living Aint Easy ft Richie Spice, Creation ft Richie Spice and Dem A Fake.

It's been quite a musical journey for the talented deejay who tours and performs overseas regularly as the opening act for Richie Spice. He has matured both musically and spiritually over the past few years. He became a member of the Rastafarian faith after being incarcerated England in 2003.

Snatcha’s fervent belief in Rastafari and his experience in prison have helped to increase his desire to spread a positive message through his music. Therefore he has taken a very serious stance against all form of negativity and his music reflects this stance.
"As a Rastafarian it is my duty to lead the people in a positive direction mi bun out negativity." "Life over death, the youths dem fi stop the foolishness and stop kill dem one annada".

Snatcha's latest single titled No More War is currently creating a buzz on the airwaves and in the dancehall both locally and abroad. Snatcha says he hopes to inspire the youths to cease from violence and crime especially at a time like this when there is so much crime in Jamaica. While doing so he hopes to make some serious inroads in the music as he walks in the foot steps of his famous siblings.
