Reggae singer Jah Cure ran into trouble with the law in Trinidad & Tobago over the weekend.
Information reaching OutAroad.com is that fans were longing for Jah Cure's performance at a concert in San Fernando but had to wait awhile as the Cure had to dealt with a little situation at the police station.
According to police reports, Justice Sebastian Ventor issued a court order for the singer to be arrested after he fails to return over US19, 000 that was given to him as advance payments by a Trinidadian Promoter.
A source told OutAroad.com that the promoter contracted Jah Cure to perform at his show but Jah Cure ended up at another show instead.
Jah Cure's Side Of The Story
SoBe Entertainment/Danger Zone Recording artiste Jah Cure has Just returned from performing at the show dubbed 'It's Cure Again' in Trinidad & Tobago. Jah Cure's trip to Trinidad and Tobago was not without incident however, as an unscrupulous promoter made efforts to prevent him from performing.
On Saturday November 7 while staying at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Port of Spain Jah Cure was greeted by police officers along with the unscrupulous promoter who claimed that Jah Cure owed him money. The promoter with whom Jah Cure has worked with in the past was in negotiations with Jah Cure for another performance but negotiations broke down.
In order to settle the matter Jah Cure and members of his management team accompanied the promoter and the police to a nearby police station where the promoter's deposit was returned. The artiste was not arrested as reported by some media outlets and was able to fulfil his confirmed date at Guaracara Park on the same night. Jah Cure performed to over ten thousand people.
Jah Cure wishes to thank all his Trinidad & Tobago fans who came out to support him and guarantees them that despite this incident he will return to the twin island republic. Jah Cure and his management team would also like to commend members of the Trinidad and Tobago police force for their professionalism in dealing with the matter. Jah Cure is now home in Jamaica preparing for his upcoming dates in St Kitts, Barbados and Grenada.

It's really sad that he's arrested again I am not a fan actually I don't like him at all but things like this should be sorted by his management and shouldn't end this way it's unfortunate

Why would the promoter need to use the Police and Judge to get back his money ?. Why not return the man money since 'negotiations' broke down , it seems that you would have performed at the other show and fly out the country
