CHERINE ANDERSON is a musical breath of fresh air. With recent success on the Billboard charts the young soulstress is wasting no time. Anderson has been hard at work expanding her creative horizons, recording her debut album and collaborating with new producers. All this she says is consistent with her eclectic blend of soulful music she calls Dancehall-Soul. The gifted songwriter recently released two new songs Hey Baby (Creator Riddim), a sexy and edgy dancehall tune as well as Real Love (Feminine Riddim), a heart-stirring love ballad. Both tunes are getting good rotation at local radio but Real Love is fast becoming one of the standout tracks from the Don Corleon produced feminine riddim.
When we caught up with Anderson she explained "All of us are searching for that person who make us feel special, someone we don't have to pretend with, someone who love us even with our flaws. I wrote Real Love for the men who make us women feel great all the time." With some cutting lyrics, Cherine declares on the second verse of the song.

Anderson vocals are powerful yet vulnerable on this track, leading many to ask if Real Love might be about someone special in her life. The singer who has always avoided discussions about her love life responded with a smile, "maybe".
Anderson has made great strides in her short career under the management and booking of Patrick Lindsay's Zlink Entertainment, Inc. After entering the Billboard charts nineteen weeks ago, she is currently #8 on Billboard's Adult Pop Song Charts featured on the Sly & Robbie produced international hit, Michael Franti's "Say Hey (I Love You)". The East Kingston bred singer is scheduled to perform on the highly anticipated STING 2009 on December 26th at Jamworld in Portmore, St. Catherine.
