Jamaican actor Lascell 'Girlie' Parnell who was convicted on five counts of sexual abuse charges by a grand jury at Kings Criminal Court, Brooklyn NY in September was sentence to two years in prison for sexual molesting a 13-year-old boy even though each count is equivalent to one year behind bars.
According to Girlie, the mother of the child who worshiped with him at the same Church framed him. Girlie also question, who will take care of his three daughters for whom he played the role of Mama/Papa as his wife died a few years ago.
On May 29,2008 Girlie was slapped with several disturbing charges such as two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor - five counts of sexual abuse in the 2nd degree along with one count of aggravated harassment.
According to court reports, this was not the first time for Girlie as he was charged in 2005 for a similar offense.
