Nuh Put No Woman Pon Yuh Head -- Mr. Proppafix

mr_proppafix_logo.jpg

Dear Mr. Proppa fix,

I met a girl I like in high school while I was still in Jamaica when we were teenagers. I could not come and visit her for a couple years, but I haven't stopped sending her money through western union. She told me that she’s being faithful to me and everything but once I called her on the phone one night and she answered and said "yes" "yes" "yesss" then she threw down the cell phone on the bed and thought it was turned off. All I heard was dirty talks along with sexual sounds it sounded like busy signals song "mi nah answa" in there.

I don't know what to do she takes all my plane fare why I cannot come and visit her. I can't say I’m mad -- but she is my complete equal in every way but it wasn't suppose to be like this my father had told me once that she was the one for me and I knew it the very moment our eyes meet. I even gotten into physical fistfights over her with my friends and loved it because it we were fighting for her loving eyes. I don't know what to do should I continue with this relationship I have waited a long time for her hand in marriage and need her in my life in my country.
-JR
-----------------------------------------------------

Dear JR,

From the tone of your letter, I can tell that you are truly in love with this girl, but on the other hand, you are far from reality.

You need to get a grip of yourself, as this girl is only using you…This is not high school days anymore, brother I know it's hard for you to believe, but she has moved on. If you really want to know, what kind of person she is then stop sending her money for a while and sees what happens.

Even though your dad gave you the thumbs-up about this girl that doesn't means he's right…from the moment you called her and she answered "yes, yes, yesss" in that aggressive tone along with the sexual sounds you heard - that's a clear indication that things are not the same anymore.

My brother "nuh put nuh woman pon yuh head."

Usain Bolt: You think that was fast?

topper-bolt.jpg

While in Madrid, Usain Bolt would like you to know that he has switched his allegiance from Manchester United to Real Madrid, that he can outrun Cristiano Ronaldo even with a ball on his foot and he'll be checking out what the fuss over bull fighting is about.

Oh, and one other thing from the world's fastest man.

He can beat 9.58 in the 100 and 19.19 in the 200.

"I think I can go faster, but I leave that up to my coach," Bolt said Sunday. "We analyze each race. We try to go through the season without risking getting injured. We see what we can do to go further and achieve great things in sport."

Buju Banton Concerts Canceled Due to Gay-Bashing Lyrics

Several of Buju Banton's concerts have been canceled after the promoters came under pressure from the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center.

AEG Live/Goldenvoice the brainchild behind the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival was also forced to cancel his concerts that featured the Banton. The other shows that Buju was expected perform on are the House of Blues venues in Chicago (Oct. 2), Las Vegas (Oct. 15), Dallas (Oct. 20) and Houston (Oct. 22).

The problem started in 1992 when Buju Banton recorded a song titled Boom Bye Bye, which instantly became a hit amongst dancehall lovers around the world, until several gay and lesbian groups discovered the meaning of the slang Boom Bye Bye.

Family members found marijuana in Jackson's bedroom

By Kimi Yoshino and Richard Winton
Source: latimes

michael-jackson-smoking.jpgRotting marijuana that Michael Jackson's family members mistook for heroin briefly caused detectives to look for further evidence of the illegal drug in the pop star's rented residence during the frenzied 48 hours after his death, according to sources close to the investigation.

Family members told coroner's officials that they found "tar heroin" in the Holmby Hills home's master bedroom. Only Jackson and his children had access to the room, according to court records unsealed Thursday. The discovery prompted authorities to obtain a search warrant for Jackson's house for heroin, hypodermic needles, cutting agents, scales, balloons, condoms, razor blades, buyer lists, and seller lists, among other items, documents show.

But within days, police had ruled out heroin as a factor in the singer's death, sources close to the investigation said. Lab tests showed that the purported heroin was actually moldy marijuana, sources said. And, according to court records, a lengthy police interview with Jackson's personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, placed another drug, the powerful anesthetic propofol, at the center of the investigation.

Busy Signal Locks and Loads Europe

busy-signal-europe-tour-jamaican.jpgTop dancehall deejay Busy Signal can officially claim Europe as his own. Busy Signal recently returned from a two week tour where he gave performances in Sweden, Germany, Norway and Italy. Busy Signal was definitely a welcomed Jamaican act, based on the you tube hits and online posts of his performances almost immediately after each show, and the shocking colour graffiti signage bearing his name on the walls surrounding various cities.

The Uppsala festival in Sweden could be considered the highpoint of his trip to Europe - after giving an hour-long performance to the large crowd, it was clear that they could not get enough of the busy one - who returned to the stage to give an additional half hour.

Busy performed hit after hit including the hugely popular "One More Night" which had the ladies swooning, and the heart pounding hit, "Up in her Belly" and of course "Da style Deh".

ALLIANCE ARTISTS NOMINATED FOR MOBO AWARD

MAVADO_serani_bike_male_artiste_sky.jpg

2008 winner of the MOBO Award for Best Reggae Act, Gully God Mavado, has once again been nominated for this year's award, reflecting his continued output of quality music and his dominance of the international market. 2009 has been another excellent year for Mavado, touring the world and appearing on the big stage many times over.

Also nominated is Alliance colleague Serani, who has made huge strides on the international scene in the past year with his breakout hit No Games. His nomination is a great achievement for such a new act and illustrates the Alliance's winning formula for international success.

Other nominees are conscious-music flag flier Taurus Riley, past winner Sean Paul and Vybz Kartel, who had his nomination withdrawn in the past for homophobic lyrics.

The Mobo nominations were announced in London last night and the ceremony itself will be held outside London for the first time, taking place in Glasgow, Scotland on September 30.

Veronica Campbell-Brown Defends Her Decision

By Secret Agent
OutAroad.com Writer

veronica-campbell-brown.jpgVeronica Campbell has come forth to defend her reason for not running on the winning 4x100m relay team yesterday(August 22, 09) at the World Championships held in Berlin.

Veronica Campbell said that the staff and management team was unprofessional for requesting her to run the third leg couple of hours before the race. According to Veronica, it was impossible for her to run the third leg because that was not what she had practiced for.

The double Olympic 200 metres champion Veronica also mentioned that she would never turn her back on her country because whenever she attends or representing for Jamaica at these games her aim is to get the National anthem hammering through the speakers around the stadium.

According to a source from the Jamaican camp, "she made the right move because if she had ran the leg and did not pull through for Jamaica then everyone would also be blaming her for being selfish to run the third leg especially the fact that her toe was wrapped in Kinesio-tape because of a toe injury.

The source also added that this is not the time to be pointing fingers at anyone because even though she did not run - the other girls still went out there and represent for Jamaica, which shows there are multiple talents in the camp and if one person is sick then they should not be afraid to replace that person but make sure it's done way before the required time.

Her decision could have denied Jamaica from taking home the gold medal in the 4x100m relay but things turned out to be in Jamaica's favor as Simone Facey, Shelly-Ann Fraser, Aleen Bailey and Kerron Stewart went ahead to win gold clocking 42.06 ahead of Bahamas (42.29).

Information reaching OutAroad.com is that Veronica had wanted to run the anchor leg but was denied of such wish by the coaching staff. The coach's decision then triggered her to walk off the field.

The video is being directed by celebrated video director Jason 'Jay Will' Williams who has hired two choreographers, one for each video.

"Jay Will is going to make a statement with this dance video because this is the first video he is doing since Wacky Dip and he is pulling out all the stops. I have been to some of the rehearsals and I can tell you that this video is going revolutionize how dance videos are done," one source said.

In the meantime, Shy N, the 2007 Dancehall King for Japan who won the Internet Sassa Step contest to appear in the video, has been popping up at Kingston's infamous dance sessions, learning new moves and finally experiencing some of the great vibes he'd only experienced before on dance DVDs.

"I am having good time, going to the sessions like Boasty Tuesday, Weddy Weddy, Passa Passa and finally seeing some of the places where the sessions keep for myself and not just on DVD, you know," Shy N said.

Most Internet voters will remember that Shy N, who hails from Japan, had compiled a pretty nifty video on youtube where he demonstrated the Sassa Step on a sidewalk which ran parallel to a graffiti-decorated wall, and incorporated his routine with break-dancing as well. He is expected to play a prominent role in the Sassa Step segment of the video.

Half Pint, Slightly Stoopid, Snoop Doog & Stephen Marley Ignited on the Blazed & Confused Tour

By Ra-Umi Alkebu-lan

half-pint-tour-snoop-doog-marley.jpg

Beloved reggae singer Half Pint demonstrated once again that he is one of the most enduring singers of all time in Reggae music. This he did as he blazed on the just concluded Blaze & Confused Tour recently.

Slightly Stoopid, Snoop Dogg and Stephen Marley also delivered entertaining sets.

Half Pint who performed with Slightly Stoopid could do no wrong. He entertained an appreciative audience who welcomed him when he was introduced by Slightly Stoopid's guitarist/vocalist, Miles.

Pint entered the stage with his up tempo reggae song "Level the Vibes." He received a thunderous applause as he danced and pranced to the music played by the Reggae rockers Slightly Stoopid. The band not only showed their versatility in playing Reggae music but also their love for the genre. "Freedom Fighter" with a rugged baseline struck a chord with the audience, when Pint sang the lines "To all my brothers in America and all my sisters in a Canada, we want freedom on the African border."

"Greetings" brought the house down as the members of Slightly Stoopid rocked the stage. This inflamed the audience as Pint took control and had them singing with him word for word.

Usain Bolt proved Johnson wrong by breaking the 200-metres world record in 19.19s

OutAroad.com Writer

Usain Bolt the fastest man on earth has forced American legend Michael Johnson's statement back down his throat after he stated that "Usain Bolt will not break his 200 metres world record later on Thursday (Today), he told Pirate Irwin (AFP).

Bolt who has already set a world record earlier this week in the 100 metres final added one record to his tally after he made a magnificent run to win gold in the 200 metres at the World Athletics Championship in a world record time of 19.19 seconds.

Johnson told AFP, "His exertions this week have taken a lot out of him," said Johnson, whose 200m world record was broken by Bolt in Beijing last year in the Olympic final when the Jamaican ran 19.30sec.

"He's also been very busy and he looks tired. It is certainly less possible than it was a few nights ago. Also he has said that his training this year hasn't been as good as last year."

Vybz Kartel Salutes Jamaica's Lightening Bolt

bolt-usain-berlin-vybz-kartel.jpg

New York, NY (Ms. RAINE INC): Mouthing "Gaza Mi Seh" to television cameras during his usual pre-race antics, Olympic gold medalist and world record holder Usain Bolt hailed his favorite Dancehall deejay moments before shattering another 100-meter world record in Berlin on Sunday. Today, ace lyricist and leader of the 'Gaza'-based Portmore Empire Vybz Kartel celebrates Bolt's victory with "Lightening Bolt' a clever tribute to Bolt's outstanding world championship triumph--crossing the finish line in a startling 9.58 seconds.

"Yuh neva know Jamaicans nuh play / when yuh see that flag ya clear the way / Black, green, Usain get the gold / just bring back a silver to USA" Kartel rhymes on "Lightening Bolt," incorporating Jamaica's national colors and poking fun at the US's second place finish at the World Championships.

Also known as "Di Teacha,' Kartel's superior lyrical skill and colorful verbage has been lauded among Dancehall afficianados. "Ramping Shop," his fiesty duet with Dancehall deejay Spice, is currently bubbling on the Billboard Top 100 Hip Hop and R&B singles, jumping twenty notches since its debut to its current position at #76. A savy business man, Kartel owns the Vybz Rum and Daggering Condom brands, and heads the Portmore Empire. Based in his hometown, the Empire is Kartel's stable of sizzling new Dancehall talent--including popular deejays Blak Ryno, Jah Vinci, Shawn Storm, and Popcaan-- situated in an area of Portmore known as 'Gaza' in Jamaica's parish of St. Catherine.

Tyson Gay On The Run From Usain Bolt

By Secret Agent
OutAroad.com Writer

Usain-Bolt-wins-the-100m.jpg

Tyson Gay seems to be embarrassed after he was beaten by Jamaican lightening Usain Bolt in the 100 metres final in Berlin on Sunday (August 16, 2009). Bolt clocked 9.58s to set a new world record while Tyson Gay came in second at 9.71s.

The world was anticipating a rematch between the two rivalries, however that will not happen as Tyson Gay backed out of the 200 metres complaining of a groin injury.

According to Tyson Gay's camp, he has been bothered by a groin injury in recent weeks, which now leaves experts and fans saying it's amazing that he ran 9.71s while suffering from a groin injury.

Question: Is Tyson Gay afraid of being beaten by Bolt in the 200 metres why he complains of a groin injury?

Rihanna Could Do With a Little More Chris Brown in Her Life

Source: eonline

Does Rihanna want her face time with Chris Brown to be a little less coincidental?

rihanna-brown-11.jpgThe pop star's attorney tells E! News that his client is looking to do away with the order of protection that's been in place since Brown copped to beating on Rihanna in February, which requires the "Run It" singer to stay at least 50 yards away from his ex-girlfriend.

The court allowed some leeway in case the duo were both in attendance at a music industry event, meaning Brown wouldn't be hauled off to the clink if he and Rihanna happened to rub elbows at the Grammys.

But whether she wanted this all along or was moved by Brown's videotaped mea culpa (and the promise of yet another apology on Larry King Live Wednesday night), Rihanna, who declined the court's offer of a restraining order back in March, feels that a level-one protection order will be sufficient from now on.

Flippa rocks Champions; says money-throwing days are over

By Contributor

flippa_mafia_champions.jpgFollowing his awesome performances at Reggae Sumfest and A St Mary Mi Come From, Flossing King Flippa Mafia made it three in a row as he rocked the massives at Champions In Action early Sunday morning and left them wanting more.

It was a performance worthy of a King as Flippa demonstrated why he is considered dancehall royalty. In a no-nonsense mood, the jovial entertainer swaggered on stage and got down to the real business of entertaining his ever-growing throng of fans. He was there to give - musically and otherwise - and they were more than eager to receive.

Known for his on-stage antics which earned him the moniker King of Flossing, Flippa went through his repertoire of dancehall hits, including his number one song, Unfinished House. "Mi vehicle cyan dearer than mi house, nor mi rims cyan dearer than mi couch," he deejayed the first line of the song and his fans totally took over.

Track & Field over Gully and Gaza

Shelly-Ann Fraser Wins Gold For Jamaica - Kerron Stewart (Silver) - Berlin 2009 Women 100 metres Final IAAF World Championship

OutAroad.com has decided to remove two stories from the website titled Vybz Kartel & Beenie Man Got Booed Pon Di Gaza? - Champions in Action and Boos Were Aimed At Beenie Man While Performing With Kartel because of the difference in reports we have received from various contributors that are aligned with Gully and Gaza. OutAroad.com does not wish to be classed as a Gaza or Gully website like many others. Let us now turn our attention on the many records that our Track Field stars are creating in Berlin.

When Bolt created history last year in Beijing, commenters flooded the board with comments. However, this time around there are barely any comments.

OutAroad.com wishes to use this moment to say sorry for the confusion - it's time for all the Gully and Gaza fans to unite and celebrate the victory of our track and field stars.

Protoje On The Wrong Side Of The Law With New Single

protoje-ed-for-promo-reggae.jpgHouse Of Diggy recording artist Oje Ken Ollivierre aka Protoje recently returned from a promotional trip of England. The talented artist who can easily be listed as one of the break out artists of 2009, did several radio interviews while in England and performed along with his mother Lorna Bennett at the recently held Lovers Rock Awards Gala. Since the release of his debut single Arguments a few months ago Protoje has been making quite a name for himself, having peaked at the number ten position on the RETV top 20 Reggae singles chart with Arguments. Its accompanying music video topped the RETV MVP chart for five consecutive weeks and the TVJ FI WI Choice Top Ten Video chart for eight consecutive weeks. He has also delivered show stopping performances at events such as Jus Jugglin & Jamnesia.

Since his return to the island almost a week ago Protoje has been very busy as he continues to work on his soon to be released album, The Seven Year Itch. He has also dropped his second single from the album titled Wrong Side Of The Law. In this song Protoje challenges the validity of Jamaica's law books, as it pertains to marijuana. The song was inspired by an experience Protoje and his friend Dutty Bookman (formerly of News Talk 93 FM) had been through, while on their way home from a late night studio session. Hence their decision to collaborate and pen the song.

DJ KarYzma & Kruddy Gave An ATI Experience Like No Other...

By Pen2paper Creative Concepts
OutAroad.com

stages-party-atikaryzma-kruddy.jpgNegril was totally transformed into the party capital of the world, over the past weekend(August 5-9, 2009). The eastern city saw droves of party enthusiasts, either supporting their ATI or Dream Weekend events, utilising almost a seven-mile strip, at will to soak sun, sand, sea, liquor and music... The veteran weekend pulled out large numbers of partygoers, which saw patrons entering venues as early as 2pm and leaving as late as 5AM. Even though the weekend had Seven Top Events, our team only made it to five, two of which we had received what is known as the "The Experience".

After battling hours of bumper-to-bumper traffic back and forth, it was worth the frustration as Colours and Stages delivered. These two parties can definitely be dubbed as the weekend's best. Colours - with its difference in musical styling, and authentic beach feel, as well as Stages, an event which surpassed all levels of expectation, in terms of decor, physical settings, and numerous VIPs, upper level DJ VIP Area, Bar on the water, internal club with its own DJ, tremendous dance spaces and numerous bars and booths - not to mention one of the best DJ line ups for the weekend.

Which brings us to "The Experience"- what was it? (Dj Karyzma & Kruddy)... they blew all the patrons and us over the ATI weekend into another dimension. They absolutely took the weekend and their respective events by storm while juggling alongside much respected DJ's such as Kurt Riley, Renaissance, Tony Matterhorn and Black Chiney to name a few.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN VIRGINITY & BELOW DI WAIST?

queen-ifrica-vybz-kartel.jpgDear Sir/Madam Editor,

I am hoping that you won't be bias by not publishing this letter. I am not a fan of Vybz Kartel but I am going to admit that I do dance to his songs when I am under the influence of alcohol. However, I am an avid fan of Queen Ifrica but I am going to disagree with her lyrics in Mek Mi Grow. Even though she might not have said Kartel's name in the song, but only a stupid person would not realise that it was geared at his song and lyrical construction "Virginity". Because the young man is only expressing his opinion then it's up to us the viewers or listeners to know what to digest or vomit out, in terms of good and bad.

Anyways, I am going to get to the point and expose the hypocrite that Queen Ifrica and many more of her fake friends are. I can remember dancing and singing to her then hit single "Below Di Waist" yes, that was sang by our same overnight virtuous woman Queen Ifrica who was sexually expressing that even if she's in an argument with her spouse "shi still affi get di thing below di waist". What is below the waist???

In Vybz Kartel's song he sang that he took her virginity, the lines, which came after, did not state that the girl got pregnant. However, in Queen Ifrica's Below Di Waist these are her exact words below.
"You know mi nah guh knock yuh dung baby,
no mi just waan hold yuh dung baby,
him seh gwaan guh put on yuh thong baby
and before you know it is another baby..

I guess the issue of unprotected sexual intercourse can be a cause for concern, if we were gonna get all "morally inclined" - or the simple fact that …she a go "hold him down" that might insight rape? Depending on who is holding down!!!! Therefore, we need to stop taking straws from people's eyes… when our very own eyes have rafter…

Leonie,
New York

Dancehall artiste/producer Alley Cat’s new MIX CD will be released this Friday, August 14, in Germany. The MIX CD was compiled by Upliftment International Sound out of Liepezeek in Germany, a sound system that, Alley Cat has been working with over the years.

CHAMPIONS IN ACTION THIS SATURDAY

champions-in-action-poster.jpg

As the smoke clears, from the ATI & Dream Weekend in Negril, the focus move to this Saturday's staging of Champions in Action at Jamworld in Portmore. With a line-up that many are lauding as better than Sumfest, the inclusion of Sizzla, Capleton, Anthony B and others is a calculated move on behalf of the promoters.

"Our show is not just about who's hot and who's hype" said the Presidential Click spokesperson. "Champions in Action is a showcase of the best in Dancehall and Reggae talent over the years so we've included artists that have proved they can deliver a catalogue of hits for the patrons."

A lot of anticipation is also surrounding Bounty Killer's appearance, after his show-stealing performance at Sumfest. His musical son, Dancehall's superstar international flag-bearer Mavado, is sure to repeat his fiery set at last year's Champions in Action. The Doctor Beenie Man is a perennial crowd favourite and will have the crowd unmoved until he closes the show. Local high-riding DJ Vybz Kartel's legion of fans will have the opportunity to catch him live at Jamworld and he is sure to deliver. With the likes of Elephant Man, Etana, Assassin, I-Wayne, Queen Ifrika, Andrew & Wada Blood and much more also on the bill, Champions in Action is perhaps the most complete stage show of recent times.

As usual, a chunk of the proceeds will go towards the West Kingston Back-To-School Treat, for the children of the inner-city communities in that region, regardless of political persuasion, another positive reason to support this historic event. All this for just $1000!

GREAT PERFORMANCE FROM FLIPPA MAFIA AT ST MARY MI COME FROM

flippa-mafia-munga-live.jpg

It was last Thursday morning August 6th 2009 when the King of Flossing, Flippa Mafia hit the stage at St Mary Mi Come From to perform for a crowd that was eager for him.

Flippa was called on stage by fast-rising deejay, Assassin, who had the crowd hyped up with a great performance. He announced Flippa, and St Mary erupted when the slim built, always smiling entertainer ran on stage. Flippa took the musical baton from Assassin and surged forward with a performance that really announced his arrival. It wasn't about the champagne-popping, because there was none and it was only after he received his well deserved forwards that he sprinkled a few $500 bills into the crowd.

But, honestly, his performance was all about his songs and his ability to engage his fans. With the ever popular Unfinished House now sitting comfortably at the number one spot on Richie B's prestigious Jamaica Countdown Chart, it was easy to see why the single is in this coveted position. As the band struck up the riddim, the massives at Gray's Inn shouted their approval with screams, lighters, by blowing horns, dancing and singing the words of the song.

"TELL IFRICA GO JUMP PON A NEXT BANDWAGON" - VYBZ KARTEL

vybz_kartel_virginity_mind_money_artiste.jpgPortmore Empire's boss Vybz Kartel has responded to Queen Ifrica's lyrics in her latest single titled Mek Mi Grow in a statement that was sent to OutAroad.com by the Techa.

Lines in the song that got the Techa upset are "Yuh Caan Tek Mi Virginity" and "If it makes you feel good to sleep wid children in yuh rampin shop."

"They think they are the police force of morality when they're just hypocrites. If you Ifrica don't like my songs so what? The fans love it!!!!!!!! Queen Ifrica and others like her are all hypocrites and acting like they are paragons of virtue. When I create my art it is not for estranged fools posing as artiste to critique It is for my fans not for you Ifrica and guess what? The ladies love it bad bad and if yuh have a daughter I know she hides from her hypocrite mother and listens to it attentively.

Vybz Kartel also further stated that his virginity song is about he and his girl reminiscing about their teenage years.

"I couldn't take your virginity cause yuh" daddy first touch yuh there - "they wanna do songs and people should understand there perspective of the issue and ignore
everything else. But they don't offer the same to other artiste do whole a Dem badmind but Ifrica not puttin on portmore empire's pot.

Mr. Vegas 'blesses' Mobay with an Independence Day gift

mr.vegas-iamblessed-%231-chart.jpgMontego Bay is still buzzing from the incredible performance that the I Am Blessed artiste delivered at the UDC Old Hospital site on Independence Day August 6th 2009.

Mr. Vegas hit the stage at about 12:30 a.m. with his backing band, Thugz, and got an immediate ovation from the crowd with his number one hit, Taxi Fare. He then segued into the unapologetic Sucky Ducky, and another cheer went up from the crowd. He paused to speak to the audience a bit before doing Hands Up and the venue literally rocked as did Nike Air and Heads High back to back, the crowd cheering him on he turned up the tempo.

After revving up the audience to a high, Mr. Vegas changed pace and showed his versatility with the one-drop hit, Do You Know, which had lighters flickering quietly as he mesmerized them with his ice cube clear vocals.

Mr. Vegas then pumped up the adrenaline level in the venue with his dance segment, featuring some of the biggest dances to have emerged in dancehall in the past three years. Joined by his two female dancers, he immediately went into Tek Weh Yuself, and then Raging Bull. He then dropped his loner's anthem, Mi Nuh Waan No Friend From Dem with the crowd cheering his every move, before he closed strongly with his monster number one hit, I Am Blessed.

Toya doesn't want to be known as Lil Wayne's baby mama on "Tiny & Toya"

TINY IS NOT THAT CUTE

tiny-and-toya-bet.jpgTonight I caught up with BET's "Tiny & Toya"! For the most part, I'm enjoying the show. True, sometimes they are hard to understand when they speak. True, Toya needs to get over Wayne and doubly true Tiny is not that cute. But aside from that or maybe I'm just sentimental after watching Tiny say goodbye to T.I., "Tiny & Toya" are doing a good job at showing the world who they are and what's going on in their lives. Of course, that doesn't mean the world is going to like what they see. On the last few episodes Toya was been struggling with taking control of her life and getting back on the dating scene. Meanwhile, Tiny was preparing for T.I.'s departure and what the future will hold for her.

When it comes to Toya, I think she has a good heart, but she frustrates me. She told Tiny she was mad because a woman referred to her as Wayne's "baby mama" and said she just wanted to known for being herself. The problem is the only reason anyone knows who she is, is because she's Wayne's baby mama. Truth be told, I think she likes being linked to Wayne. She says she's not over him, but I think it has more to do with not wanting to let go of the fame and status. I hate that it's like she's only willing to date a man with a certain amount of money. I hope she has an ample amount of sessions booked with Dr. Ron because she needs it.

DEMENTED RELEASES "HOW YOU SEXY" SO BY KARTEL…

By: Pen2paper Creative Concepts
OutAroad.com

demented-vybz-kartel-sexy-so-songs.jpgDemented one of the hottest upcoming producers known for his distinctive percussive style presents Arrhythmia, on his debut release featuring Vybz Kartel aka Addi di Teacha "How You Sexy So?" ….Kartel who has seen tremendous charted and awards success from 2008 into 2009, such as his Billboard hit single Ramping Shop in collaboration with Spice, Don't Run, Mind Pon Mi Money, Mama, With Out My Own, Get Wild, Million Dollar By A Morning and recently Completely and Virginity, has seemingly been dropping singles on every production, on the airwaves and underground, as new releases are out almost every week, rhyming on or about a wide range of varied topics, concepts and flows.

Kartel's 'Sexy So" enquires on the levels of a Gaza girl's sexiness, while he further states how much her 'whining and touches" which results in him having a strong hold on her. "Sexy So" is a fast paced pulsating track, which has again given lades another reason to gyrate and pulsate their "waist line". Sexy So is a commendable couple steps down from some of his recent explicit collaborations, such as with his high ridding protégé Lisa Hype and dancehall diva Spice, it does have some potential for future addictions, getting good rotations.

Demented although may seem to be a new name for most, he isn’t quite all that new, as he has laid down productions for Sizzla, Flex, Tosh, Nanko and Turbulance.

So ladies while you're partying, and the Dj or a guy you're really into or your significant other asks you "how you sexy so". What's the first thing that comes to mind? Hmmmm!! Maybe he is pre-empting you for this track.

christ-martin-bigyard-artiste.jpg

Christopher Martin has recently received an invitation from the Jamaican Consulate to perform at the upcoming "Loving Jamaica" concert, hosted by the Organization of American States (OAS) and the Jamaican Embassy in Washington DC on August 9th 2009. This will be the platform for introducing some new songs from Christopher, to the outer Jamaican community. The theme is focused on the Jamaican community both locally and abroad, Christopher will be one of our musical ambassadors present in a bid to endorse the theme "Loving Jamaica".

The invitation has appropriately arrived following the release of his latest singles, "MelodyTo My Song" produced by Baby G on the "Good Love" rhythm. Christopher Martin a member of Big Yard label engages in a couple collaborations for the summer featuring some new singles with high chart topping capabilities, such as the much buzzed 'Real Frenz' anthem featuring Agent Sasco (formally Assassin), and label mate D-major for TJ records, "Real Frenz" aims at sending out the positive message of celebrating life and love now, and not waiting until our friends pass on, to acknowledge their worth. The song exalts the meaning of real friends in both character and personality. Other singles to hit the summer and winter seasons are, "Listen" featuring Demarco, which expresses the reluctance of a past love to listen to advice, and "Watch me lord" on the 'Relationships' rhythm by Ariff Cooper.

Look out for those singles and more appearances from Christopher Martin, as he continues to fill us with the promise of his talent.

My Man Is A Cross-dresser - Should I Marry Him?

Can you please give me some advice on what to do?

mr_proppafix_logo.jpg

Dear Mr. Proppafix,

I have the most loving relationship any girl could ask for. The sex is great, my man is very caring, I want for nothing, my 3 kids (for this same man) are very happy as he loves them and showers them with affection. From the outside looking in, it is the perfect relationship. My problem is this, Mr Proppafix, he has asked me to marry him and I am having serious doubts. A while back I saw him with some female garments and we had this huge argument as I thought he was having an affair and that is when he confessed to me that he is a cross dresser. He said that he is happy that I finally find out and that he can be himself around me. He assures me that he is not gay, that he is not bi-sexual that he just loves to wear female clothes and make-up. My problem is I don’t know if I should marry him. I need your advice.
-Confused

------------------------------------------------------
Dear Confused,
I think that you should look at the substance of your relationship over the matter. Women's intuition is very good and you can tell if your man is gay. If your intuition tells you that he is not (don't be in denial if it tells you that he is) then I think that you should go ahead and marry the man. You should discuss this openly though before you get married and tell him what you honestly feel about him dressing up as a woman.

"Yuh can't tek my virginity" - Queen Ifrica

NOT EVERY GOOD GIRL GONE BAD

queen-ifrica-mek-migrow-lyrics.jpgBy Krazy Katty
OutAroad.com Writer

Queen Ifrica's latest single Mek Mi Grow is now the most talk-about song in the streets as the Fyah Muma secretly blazed "some fire" on certain topics that are frequently used in songs by some of our top dancehall acts.

The Fyah Muma started off the song by telling a story of a girl who is forcing her friend "fi guh a man yard afta school" - the other girl then said "mi a go home to my mother, yuh can stay deh…
Nuh bowy can't draw mi round nuh coner,
Fi guh show mi no iguana, so low mi mek mi grow

After chanting, those positive lines the Fyah Muma then get a bit controversial when she spits lines such as:
"Yuh can't tek my virginity, cause that a God precious gift to me,
If it makes you feel good to sleep wid children in yuh rampin shop well don't bather worry when di lighten clap.

After a blazing second verse Queen Ifrica steps on a few more corns with lines such as "Whe di big bredda dem deh fi di likkle sista dem,
Why every song whe uhnu sing a fi dig out under dem,
Why yuh nuh teach dem fi be like some more Etana dem,
weh di mercy weh u have fi likle Ananda dem,
So be a betta bredda to yuh likkle sista,
Not every Good Girl Gone Bad some a dem trust inna God

On a scale of five, I give this song (Mek Mi Grow) 5 out of 5.

Right now Queen Ifrica can be classed as the leading female artiste in music industry who is well equipped dozens of hit under her belt, such as Daddy Don't Touch Mi, Lioness on The Rise, Keep It To Yuh Self, Far Away, Below The Waist, No Love Again just to name a few.

Good performance by DáVille at Sumfest Int'l Night II…despite stage furor

daville-japan-artiste-performance.jpg

Things did not work in favour of international recording artiste DåVille, as he would have wanted to, but he still went on to give an excellent performance at Reggae Sumfest International II on Saturday, July 25, despite a minor furor on stage.

The singer, known for several popular songs including his most recent chart topping hit single 'Missing You Right Now' and the promising 'Never Gonna Cry' single, performed for 20 minutes, but was not pleased as he didn't get the chance to give fans the additional treat he promised.

Apologising for losing his cool, DáVille said he had planned a special performance paying tribute to two special persons - the 'king of pop' Michael Jackson and his former road manager Robert Bogle (who died last year from sickle cell), but when he saw that the props he had invested in was not to be, he said he felt ‘dissed’ as no one told him that his elaborate presentation would not have been possible.

It was DáVille's second time performing at the annual Reggae Sumfest. The first was in 2007 when he delivered well among the impressive lineup.

Angel Lola Luv Has No Time For Souljaboy Dating Rumors

Angel Lola Luv Print and Video Diva is Embarking on Something Fresh

angel-lola-luv-mixtape.jpgWashington, DC (PRWEB) July 29, 2009 -- What would we do without the modern day 'blogging' phenomenon? Blogs render such entertainment. Good, bad or indifferent, gossip sites are spewing with some facts, some fiction, and everything in between. It seems the rumor mills are all in love with the highly desired model and former video-vixen, Ms. Angel Lola Luv aka Lola Monroe. In the beginning of her career, Ms. Luv graced countless magazine covers, and featured in music videos with some of the top Hip Hop artists in the industry. But now she is embarking on a new career, from former video/print diva to sexy, sharp and sassy, rap diva. Teaming up with the undisputed mixtape giant Dj Fletch, Ms. Luv debuted a new mixtape this month, lyrically airing out the rumors and smacking the haters.

Speaking of rumors, it was reported by several media shops including mediatakeout.com and Hip Hop Weekly that Ms. Lola Luv was in a heavy romance, a deep love affair with hip hop's swagger-man Souljaboy Tell Em. Well, sorry to disappoint our fellow bloggers, however Souljaboy Tell Em and Ms. Angel Lola are simply friends. Angel explains, "Souljaboy and I are not dating. We recorded a song together for our mixtape projects and have a mutual artist to artist respect for each other. He's a cool guy, but right now I'm more focused on upcoming films and my new album." Angel is currently working in the studio with several top named producers preparing for her debut album release in 2010. Luckily for all the fellas, Ms. Luv aka Lola Monroe is still single while making major moves. Did we mention Ms. Luv is making her big screen appearance starring alongside 50 Cent in the highly anticipated movie "Before I Self Destruct"? Um huh!

Junior X Signs To Revolutionary Entertainment

junior-x-plead-my-cause.jpgRevolutionary Entertainment recording artist Junior X is aiming to cement his place in the Jamaican music industry, now that he has a new management team. It was in 2005 that he stormed on to the local music scene with hits such as Plead My Cause, Freedom & Seek Your Goal while working with Herbs House Entertainment. However, his relationship with Herbs House Entertainment was very brief because of irreconcilable differences between him and the company. Since then he has been handling his career by himself.

However, Junior X recently signed a three-year management deal with Revolutionary Entertainment. His association with this US based company came about after he was introduced by Roy Francis of Mixing Lab recording studio to the CEO of Revolutionary Entertainment Dennis Livingston a few months ago.
