Dancehall artiste Delly Ranx is very upbeat about his career and is currently getting ready to drop two
new rhythms the Gold Mine rhythm on Buju Banton’s Gargamel Music label and Comfort Zone for his own Pure Music label. He created both rhythms. Apart from that, he’s also working on his sophomore album for California based record label Itation Records. The album will feature production work from Buju Banton and producers such as John John, Mad Scientist, Jordan (Chimney Records) and Delly himself. The album, which is tentatively titled Good Profile, is slated to be released on June 23rd.
His record of accomplishment speaks for itself boasting a long list of hits such as Red Bull & Guinness, Ghetto Whiskey, Headache done in tandem with Elephant Man, Pon Di Corner with Mega Banton, Head Of The House, Pelpa, Harder Every Day, Jiggy Time with Voicemail, What A Gal Can
Wine and Wagga Fat.
Delly's previous full-length project was the fifteen tracks CD titled Break Free for Japan's JVC Records. This album saw Delly Ranx teaming up on collaborations with reggae and dancehall stalwarts Jimmy Riley & Wayne Wonder. It also featured several songs that were produced by him. Break Free was a Japan only release. However, Delly Ranx is looking to broaden his horizons with Good
Profile, as Itation Records will release it worldwide. He was recently in California where he did the photo shoot for the album and shot a video for Wish Good, which will be the first single from the
album. California based director Just Jay directed the video.
