Jamaica’s reggae superstar Sean Paul ran into trouble with the law in Sweden during a drug sting on Friday at a Swedish reggae festival.
According to OutAroad.com’s source the deejay was searched along with several other artists by the law men and arrested for drug possession shortly after his performance at the Uppsala Reggae Festival.
Before the cops attempted to search Sean Paul and his boyz, they sent police dogs to Sean’s hotel room at the First Hotel Linne to snift for drugs.
According to X17online The First Hotel Linne's manager declined to comment on the situation to X17. Calls to Sean Paul's manager have not yet been returned.

Well this was only a matter of time cuz Sean is a big weed head. I'm surprised it took this long, but it almost happened about a year ago in certain country (he was lucky the promoter had a private plane). I don't think the charges will stick in this case cuz there's always someone to buy it out, & a promoter that can afford Sean isn't poor. Plus Swedens laws are very slack so he will most likely get out of jail.

Sean is my entertainer an he has represented jamaica well both locally and internationally.. Iam sure with alot of well-wishers/supporters behind sean he will overcome! My prayers go wit him as i will keep my fingers cross...

What really matters? The Marcus Garvey celebrations this weekend around the world. The revival even extends to Houston, Texas where there will be a concert Friday night featuring hip hop and reggaeton youths plus soca queen Allison Hinds and reggae godfather Big Youth. Saturday is a doulble decker with a lunch with son Dr. Julius Garvey and a dinner gala featuring Fab 5 straight from JA.

dem neva find nothin on dutty paul.....the sweedish police dont like the fact that a black man(the promoter of the reggae festival) has 1300(white) people successfully working the festival calling him "boss" every year,so they try to dramatize of the big stars on his line-up making it hard for him to renew his festival liscence ......big up sean peezy...

Sean Paul has nothing to worry about. It is true the police are racist and are trying to stop the promoter. Big up to Sean Paul burn the herbs it is free and clean and comes from the earth. Nuff ting ah gwan that needs people's attention. Weed is natural and all Jamaican's defend the use of weed.
