Barbie's publicist Ray Alexander has announced that contrary to a flurry of rumours that the singer succumbed to her wounds in hospital, Barbie is alive, doing well, and scheduled for release from Hospital tomorrow.
The rumour mill went into overdrive this morning, with wild reports that were circulated to even a leading media house. When the media house made checks, the story came up blank.
“There is no truth to it, nothing like that has happened,” complained Ray Alexander, publicist for Barbie.
“Someone has been going around telling lies about her, and it’s just not true,” he explained.
“I spoke to her just last night, she is doing fine and coming out tomorrow. They did many tests on her, cat scan and others, and she is fine,” Alexander told OutAroad.com.
Barbie was involved in a major car crash last weekend, while on her way to the Jamrock Reggae Fest that was held at the Hammerstein Ballroom.
Based on reports, the singer was in a rush and had reportedly pulled her seat belt to apply makeup. It was said that due to slippery conditions, the Mercedes Benz she was in skidded off the road and slammed into an SUV. Barbee hit her head against the windshield breaking it and was knocked unconscious.
According to Alexander, the rumours started flying the day after her accident, and he believes some people are being malicious. “The day after her accident, people have been trying to spread things about her, they had started to say she was pregnant, and now they say that she died…there is no truth to this,” he noted.
“There is an impostor going around and we think its malicious.”

Why are you all hating on this girl as if she is the one who stole Beenieman from his soon to be ex wife?
