Tifa, OutAroad.com Break Out Artiste for this Month latest hit, Bottom of the Barrel, is sure to give some girls sleepless nights while providing others with boasting rights. The song’s lyrics are not only catchy, but is appropriately delivered.
Tifa began the song with a punch, as she allowed the rhythm to dictate the direction in which she started the song, a move that readily demands the attention of the listener. Another strategy employed by the fast rising female artiste is the stretching of the final words in each line for emphasis, another move that is impossible for the listener to overlook.
Several attacks were initiated in the song, including one on the bleachers. A hot girl checklist put some vibes in the song. The choruses will stick to the tip of your lips, while the well-put together verses will grab your attention.
Below are excerpts from the song:
“Some gal smell like the bottom of the barrel / Some gal raw like Hellshire seaweed / Some gal face red like Christmas sorrel / An’ dem body black like tamarind seed…”
The song should appeal to her ever-growing hardcore dancehall fans and also has the potential to host an international hit. The track was produced by Suku from Ward 21 on the Estrogen rhythm. Tifa’s Bottom of the Barrel, can be easily referred to by a local and Caribbean audience. It is a definite hit for the hot girls while it will be tormenting some ‘pop dung gal’.
You can listen to the track on the Music Player.

So outaroad.com thinks this is a good song? perhaps Kon Vick and Tifa can tell the millions of black Jamaican women exactly wat colour their bodies should be. Not black? Then we wonder why people go to such extremes to bleach their bodies!
Come on its about time that Jamaican journalists start practicing responsible journalism. Instead of embracing lyrics like these we should be hitting out against them. We are after all a nation of predominantly black people. We cannot continue to praise artistes for lyrics such as these and then hit out against people for bleaching.

@jahblessed
If you would sit and listen to the song you would notice that she wasn't hitting out at black people she was singing only about the folks that do bleach but just in case you missed it here goes:
"Some gal face red like Christmas sorrel (AND) dem body black like tamarind seed…”
Notice the AND? it means she is still talking about the same person. So yes Tifa gwaan lick out pan the bleacher dem!!!

This is a well done song. I am fond of it. Nice to see an actual female talent (besides Tanya)that doesn't have to be raw/extrated to get her point across.
Much success and prosperity to you miss Tifa.
*To address Jahbless, she is actually likking out gainst the bleacha dem. As her lyric says (non verbatim), the girl face pink but har body black.
