RDX has reached another milestone after successfully achieving 2 number one singles consecutively, nominated best on Duo/group of The Year, and making a debut entry on the New York singles charts. The Duo is now officially signed on with Universal Japan to produce their first album. Universal Music Japan (Umusic Japan) is a subsidiary of the US based Universal Music Group (UMG). It is the largest record label in Japan. Universal Music Group has a 25.5% market share and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Vivendi. The one album deal with possible options was sealed by RDX Publishing Company Jamdown Music based in the UK, is still untitled and will feature 14 tracks including popular songs such as Dance, Everybody Dance and Dancers Boom as well as two bonus cuts.
Now reaping some fruits from years of hard work dedication and commitment, the very organized and business like duo have been strategically putting various plans in place, setting goals and meeting deadlines to ensure future success.
Now back in Jamaica after a scintillating performance at the West Indian Social Club in Hartford last weekend, it is indeed quite clear that RDX is an item in Dancehall now generating a buzz among promoters in the U.S through their delivery of high energy performances to noticeably sold out audiences.
The multi-talented duo will continue to climb the music ladder and ensuring that they cover their very promising careers. "This music business works systematically and we will continue to put in place and enforce all policies of this business in order to reap success, "says RDX ".
The support that RDX has been getting from fans locally and internationally is definitely not bought but instead, is a result of hard work and careful planning fought and kept by both deejay Renigade and Delomar and fresh new singles that they believe will make a good album.
