I personally do not like the fact that the Porto Ricans are copying our Jamaican Reggae music to creat what they call "Reggaeton". I have nothing against Porto Ricans, but could'nt they create something for themselves and find another name for it, since they do not like their own spanish music - Selsa. All Jamaicans who think its funny will not think that way in years to come. Mark my word.

I have been reading that long list of all the artists who have been selected for this and that and may I say congratulations to all of them. What about reggae icons like Beres Hammond, Richi Spice, Marcia Griffiths, Nadine Sutherland, Coco Tea, Ed Robinson, Luciano, Freddie McGregor, Franky Paul, Gregory Isaacs -the Groups Culture & Mighty Diamond, and a lot more that time does not allow me to name. The young generation can certainly look up to them as role models as the clean lyrics in the songs they sing will help to mold them for furture Jamaica. Are they forgotten? I welcome your comments.

Jameson - I am happy to know that our music is appreciated all over the world. No-one is prouder than I am that people all over the world is singing "Reggae" and call it by its rightful name "Reggae". The PRs dont even buy our music except maybe for a bootleg copy here and there that they use to create what they call "Reggaeton". I have spoken to some of them who don't even know who Bob Marley is or that he was a Jamaican."One love" my brother, we are all entitled to our own opinion.

Have some respect. Puerto Ricans have given back and showed thier respects towards Jamaica by doing colabos. The reason why there isn't more JA & PR Colabos is because Jamaicans are to puffed up with pride and don't like doing colabos with artist in another genere. And for the record Bob Marley was Part Cuban. Cuba was reggae musics influence, get it right. Yeah I bet no Jamaican knew that uh? And Jammaicans love Salsa*(Selsa) music, its what they do on their down time lol
