Alibra went on to grace the stage at Bling Dawg’s Summer Jam and the annual De La Vega City Dance. She has performed on some of the biggest and best dancehall shows inside of the United States including Irie Jamboree in Queens NY, Reggae Fest in New Jersey, and Grand Prix in the Bronx. Although she was born in Kingston and grew up in Spanish Town Alibra has yet to grace the stage at a major stage show in her country, but according to the singer, she is looking forward to that moment.

She is currently engaged in the KLAS FM School Tour to promote peace and love in schools, while she is simultaneously promoting Not Controlling You, a potential chart topping song she has recently recorded with Pinchers.

Two of her current singles, What is a Man? and Clearly, has been in constant rotation on Power 96 and Wave Radio in New York and Florida. Locally she is riding the airwaves, especially on ZIP 103FM and Irie FM with Clearly, and the mammoth collaboration Not Controlling You with Pinchers.

There is a collaboration with fast rising dancehall star Konshens in the works and Alibra is still promoting the videos for the singles Clearly and In My World. She is now more focus and is under the guidance of Clifton Lawrence, C.E.O. of Five Star Records.

For Alibra there is no turning back. “I have already paid my dues in the music business. I have recorded several quality songs that did not get to see the light of day. Back then I did not pursue music relentlessly because of the challenges women in the industry face, but I am now ready to step up to the challenges,” she said with confidence beaming in her eyes.
