If all the natives on the Tiny Island of Antigua & Barbuda were present on Thursday January 10, 2008 at Jazziz Bristro at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Florida to see their native son Causion performed they would have been beaming with pride.

The night represents the launch of Causion’s Third Album entitled “Stella’s Kids”, the setting was intimate, and the crowd was a nice compliment of Media and VIP’s mingled with screaming fans. Among the elites were Antigua’s Counsel General Ian Sweeny who spoke briefly, thanking the crowd for their support of Causion and expressed how proud Antigua as a country were of Causion.

The show started off with the group Shaze an upcoming, talented gospel trio setting the pace for the evening. The soulful sisters had the crowd bouncing to their hit song “Every Nation” taken from their recently released album “Praise Him”.

Introduced by John T (WAVS 1170AM Radio), the Air Brakes Band took the stage and with Junior Jazz (guitarist) singing. Then it was time for the man himself Causion to take the stage to the cheers and hoots of the crowd. He started his set doing “Stepping” taken from the new Stella’s Kids’s Album a collaboration with Brian San. By the end of the song it was obvious what kind of mood the crowd was in and that they were hungry for more and fed them he did.

He continued on with “Red, Red”, “Gwaan So”, “Get to Know Jah” and then his controversial hit song “Little Secrets” that is rumored to have some couples talking and some not talking, this had the crowd in a uproar and singing in unison.

Always about the ladies, Causion in that sultry, sexy tone that the ladies have grown to love got up close and personal. A frenzy of female rushed the stage as he started crooning softly to them and handing them roses. One female fan was especially enthralled as Causion sang happy birthday to her. By the time he finished his set the crowd was still panting for more.

Fans and media personnel rushed backstage to greet him by the time he came off the stage, each awaiting that photo opportunity. Always the crowd pleaser, Causion was busy taking pictures and signing autographs.

Aside from the obvious comments of love struck fans commenting on how hot he was, other fans were looking forward to the next show and most expressed that they expected to see and hear more of Causion this year than previous years.

Causion is truly a talented singer/performer one that I’m sure will be rocking 2008.

Causion’s Album is available at VP Records or for download at I-tunes.
