Busy Signal
Kingston, Jamaica: Intense dancehall artiste, Busy Signal, is once again at the top of every teen's list. Signal has been nominated in four categories at the first annual Youth View Awards. The nominations he received are for Favourite local music video with the hit song "Jail", Chart Topping Song with "Jail", Young, Hot & Hype Personality of the Year and Celebrity Role Model.
"It's an honour to be nominated in all those categories and no matter whether I win or lose, I just want the teens to know I'm thankful", says Signal.
The Youth View Awards are a true reflection of a youth's view of artistes that were their favourite in 2007 and who they consider to be young, hot and hype. The teenagers will vote for their favorite in each category and the winners will be announced on February 2 at the awards show to be held at the Courtleigh Auditorium.
Busy will also be performing at the Youth View Awards after party at Cuddyz in New Kingston.
