"Even out a di water mi see police a come from".

soldiers-beach.jpgPopular dancehall session Prendies On The Beach last night was certainly not the place to be as patrons were search in side out by the Jamaican Defense Force and the Police Force.

According to one patron who sent OutAroad.com an email early this morning claims that she was shocked with what took place on the beach last night.

“Mi nuh love what gwaan because mi guh fi enjoy mi self and then planned to left early so mi could wake up in time to go work - but by the time mi fi do that, mi nuh know where so much soldiers and police come from. Helicopter, Tanker, even out a di water mi see police a come from.

Even though some patrons might be upset that their fun came to an abrupt end, others are praising the police and soldiers for their new way of fighting crime.

Between late 2007 and January 2008 more than four sessions have been raided by soldiers and cops in search of illegal guns and wanted men. Some of the events that have been raided so far are Mavado’s Birthday Bash, Asylum Night Club, Quad Night Club, a session held in Clarendon to name a few.

i would like to say respect to the men and woman in the Jamaican law force, who risk their lives for the safety of others.as a Jamaican who is currently living in Canada all i red about online or even or in the Jamaican paper is pure crime and violence.we need to start the fight to save our country, cuz when forien kick us out we have no where else to go but back to where we are from.so big up to the those who want to go out and have fun,and know that you would like to go back home safe and sound over and over again!!
