After losing several long standing members last year to irreconcilable differences - the Bounty Killer-led Alliance is back and ready to up the ante. The Alliance which now stands with the five star general, Mavado, Busy Signal, Wayne Marshall and Bling Dawg is currently working on the Alliance debut album that will feature new members like Bugle, Flex, Serani of Daseca Productions and the sister duo of K Queens.
Julian Jones-Griffith spokesperson for the highly respected dancehall movement told OutAroad.com that “the album is going to be full of crazy collaborations; The Alliance has a wealth of talent and will be showcasing it with a very high level of productions. We have recorded some incredible tracks already with some knock-out surprises”.
Keeping It Gangsta is the first single to be released; the track was recorded last week at Steven “The Genius” McGregor’s Big Ship Studios and is describe as a raw sample of what fans can expect once the still untitled disc is released during the second quarter of 2008. The Alliance and its All-Star line up of dancehall artists will be taking riddim productions from other top notch Superstars like Daseca, Birch of Big Yard Studios and the “Chilling in My Beamer, Listening to Ether” Rapper / Producer Swizz Beats who earlier this year dropped his critically acclaimed One Man Band album.
