The dancehall circuit is awash with reports that hell broke loose at the Heineken Green Synergy on the grounds of Mass Camp last weekend, following an alleged incident in which a reported member of Mavado's alliance broke a bottle in a patron’s face.
Eyewitnesses said the incident resulted in a stampede.
When Mavado graced the stage, the audience gave him a huge welcome that led to females from the audience attempting to pull him off stage. Mavado then went to the front of the stage a second time, and by then, the females were successful in getting the Gangsta Deejay into the crowd. In no time, Mavado was nowhere in sight as the females cuddled him. Within a few seconds, Mavado began shouting on the mic saying,
“Them grab mi chain, wha kind a idiot thing that.”
.Members of Mavado's entourage then swarmed him and recovered the deejay’s chain that was given back to Mavado by a male patron. A member of Mavado's entourage then got into a dispute with the guy and broke a bottle in his face.
But according to an eye witness who was just meters away from the incident, "When the girls them drag him off stage and started feeling him up, that's when he lose his chain. But apparently the guy who had the chain in his hand was not the one who grabbed his chain, it was another guy did it and during the process he was not successful, this is when the guy took up the chain off the ground and Mavado's guy were just in time to catch him with the chain in his hand," she told OutAroad.com.
It also appears that the incident is still unofficial, as when OutAroad.com contacted the Half Way Tree Police station, they had no idea of the incident.

Shameful, disgraceful and totally unacceptable was the behaviour of Movado's crew (if what was reported was the truth). The young man that was hit with the bottle, the young woman that was cut, the person who lost their shoe and all others that suffered in a real way must all be adequately compensated.
It is commendable that he rebuked his associates and hopefully nothing like this will ever happen again.
Bounty, Movado, Kartel & Busy are my DJs (among others). So I hope they improve in all areas of their life and do themselves and Jamaica proud. I think my DJ (Movado “Gangsta Fe Life”) is an ok person, so I hope he will show it by apologizing and compensating the negatively affected patrons financially and emotionally, in a reasonable way for all parties involved (including himself).

Movado Movado you are one of my #1 D.J and mi respect yuh to the max but unless yuh followers dem nuh ease up pon the stupidness that we break yuh career,remember when yuh down u nah go si dem no more enuh.
I'm a jamaican living in St. Lucia and the violence ting no mek it, from the time I've been here which is less than 2yrs I lost more than 10 friends and 5 family members one of them my favorite nephew who died in Mobay leaving is little girl Daniesha,this violence is breaking my heart to see where my country is going but we've to pray for our youths and ask for Gods guidance. Bless up and just gwaan hold the faith.
